Any Manly P Hall fans? You guys know I am. One of my favorite quotes by him

"The religious experience moves inevitably from the congregational worship toward an inward communion. No matter how desperately sects and creeds attempt to oppose the concept, religion finally becomes a personal, spiritual experience. Each person must find their own faith and must find it within. Religious systems may supply us with the instruments of this personal quest but cannot accomplish the quest for us." - Manly P. Hall

Yes, I'm a fan. I've got "The Secret Teachings of All Ages". And some feel he was superior to Crowley. He was certainly a strong personality. He looked like the Hollywood version of a black magician.

The Secret Teachings of All Ages is my most favourite metaphysical reference. I have a treasured Diamond Jubilee edition and also a cheaper print-on-demand copy which I use for reference and notes. Wonderful information, designed to enable remembrance of that which we already know... but have 'forgotten'.

It's funny, but when I first read TSTOAA I wondered if it wasn't just made up. It seemed so fairy-tale like. But since I've come to learn all those things are probably true. Even Jesus spoke of things like being able to control the nature spirits with specific words so that you could do things like stop a fire (in The Aquarian Gospel). And I think he was the highest teacher of occultism.

Just wondering....is it true that Manly P. Hall gave all his works to Jordan Maxwell?

Not sure if I'm exactly a fan, although I believe I have the "two feet tall" version somewhere. On some things, I would say he did a fine job and is very accurate, and on others, might have been a bit incomplete. So...a fan of some of the subjects, definitely.
