I too find it somewhat fascinating to observe but at the same time becoming more and more frustrating as it's saturated most areas of our collective reality. There seems to be no where to go now to avoid it! YUK!

It's amazing on how such a minority ideology and effort has acquired so much power and influence on a global scale. Gives a whole new meaning and perspective of the phrase "Mob Rules".

Hey Doug, One way to change the system is to become activists. I said this somewhere on this thread: conservatives and heterodox people have to become activists. They have to get involved with local government, get on school boards, and join affinity groups even.

It was fact based and level headed and focused on the important consequences of what happened because of a presidential administration. It is now an utter cesspool of hysteria and triviality. There are probably some worthwhile pieces of information hidden between the TMZ like headlines "Melania is Pissed Off" and "Donald is Terrified" posts, but they just about impossible to find. I probably have a better chance of finding meaningful information in the Qanon thread.

It was fact based and level headed and focused on the important consequences of what happened because of a presidential administration. It is now an utter cesspool of hysteria and triviality. There are probably some worthwhile pieces of information hidden between the TMZ like headlines "Melania is Pissed Off" and "Donald is Terrified" posts, but they just about impossible to find. I probably have a better chance of finding meaningful information in the Qanon thread.

I never really participated in this thread because I never thought Trump was "the answer". Politically, I'm an independent. I have been so since the late 90s. I'm a part of that 2-6% of the population that political parties and political campaign operatives try to win over in elections.

In 2016, I didn't vote for Trump, or HRC. I wrote in my vote for someone who wasn't even on the ballot. I really do not follow the beaten path.

I've mentioned this a few times in the forum before. I did a write-in vote for Rand Paul because he was advocating an audit of the Federal Reserve. I feel it's important to vote, and I decided to use my vote to put out to the "creative forces" (as my mother would say) the intent that the Federal Reserve would be audited. At the time, I felt that much of what was broken in our system came out of what was happening in the financial world and especially the Federal Reserve.

I've learned a lot since then, so while I think it played a major role, I feel it is so much more than that. I now consider the Federal Reserve itself to be a pawn of others manipulations. But people with good intent do try to act from where they think is most relevant for them.

I do remember, energetically, a dark cloud lifted from the collective field of consciousness, when Trump won. I observed this and found it a bit curious. It was almost as if there was a global sigh of relief within the field of consciousness when Trump was elected.

And then the more accepted forms of media went crazy bonkers. I discovered in the 80's how manipulative the media could be, so I've been skeptical to its claims for a good while. But this time, it was like mass formation compliance on a scale that I've never seen. That got my attention.

Like others have stated here, I may look at this thread, if someone I respect comments, like TargeT, or Satori, T Smith and more recently Tintin. I've never looked at the content of bojancan posts. Because of the quality of the titles, I thought perhaps he was reposting low quality super-biased information. Yesterday, I realized this assumption on my part so decided to look a bit closer. That's when I asked my questions above.

If it's true that we are in a sort of silent war with what we know not, and of which most people are unaware, then this sliver of a behind the scenes insight isn't just limited to election campaigns, but to our all around perception of reality. The movie is entertaining and sobering.

I think public servants who rise to the top have some understanding of this hierarchy. Politicians like Biden--and likely every POTUS since JFK--understand they are to play their low-ranking role in said hierarchy, and they are to do so for their own gain/purposes with the tacit understanding to do as they're supposed to do and stay in their lane.

Trump was and still is a wildcard. And this is the main impetus of the brutal and unrelenting war against Trump and why we are amid such a massive and powerful psychological operation waged on the people resulting in mass formation and TDS. In other words, regardless of how you feel about Trump, he simply refuses to stay in his lane.

That said, we may not all agree on how to quantify Trump as he races his motorcade across the landscape, hence the content/discussion of this thread before it was hijacked with low-information sensationalism. Some view Trump as a kind of savior tasked to play his part in a grand David/Goliath biblical-type saga to topple the powers that have captured the political process. Others have succumbed completely to very sophisticated Deep State propaganda and gaslighting that skews an accurate assessment of Trump, and which falsely paints him as Hitlerian figure bent on destroying democracy, freedom, and America, and even the world at large. (Ironically, the destruction of democracy, freedom, America, and the world at large are very real forces at play, in real time, but they are the very forces Donald Trump is fighting against). That is the incredible irony of this story.

Given this milieu it's not hard at all to see such a polarizing divide among the people. Each sect is digging their heals in deeper and deeper per their respective paradigms -- and at this rate -- to the death. Civil war may be unavoidable.

Personally, the propaganda (and all the sensationalism herein) does little or nothing to persuade me Trump is a villain--I see right through it--and though I want to envisage Donald Trump as the David-like character in the biblical tale, I'm not naive enough to fully embrace that belief system either. I rather think of him as a master negotiator (after all, this is who Trump really is), who has a vague--if limited--grasp of the power structure, of which he himself was a part to some degree. He may not have been fully appreciative of the degree of this power structure, or of the scope of its reach and control. I think that is likely the case, hence his many miscues and miscalculations during his first term.

At the end of the day, however, given his special abilities and talents, I find it plausible Donald Trump was invited to run for POTUS to fight this beast--drafted, so-to-speak by high-ranking patriots currently in a clandestine war with this power structure behind the scenes. But that is ultimately a question for future historians. What I do know is DJT is arrogant enough to believe he can negotiate some kind of settlement between the powers of this hierarchy and the American people, one that might allow the oligarchy to retain some degree of power while restoring the Republic back to the people. In other words, Trump's real role is one of arbiter. I'm sure he understood (and understands) the negotiation process would entail concessions from the Deep State (as well as concessions from the people), as is the process and terms of any successful negotiation. For example, perhaps some offer was on the table like, "back off and nobody gets arrested or hung for treason... in return we won't lock anybody up and you can still produce your vaccines," etc. What I think Trump didn't fully understand, however, is the degree to which the Deep State was having none of that offer. They were (and are) not only unwilling to budge, but they also refused to come to the table altogether. So there was no arbitration. Instead there was all-out war declared against Donald Trump. But that's not how negotiations work in Donald Trump's experience.

All said, this is what Donald Trump learned the hard way durning his first term. How he handles the negotiation process (or all out war) with battle scars and more experience during his second term (if he makes to the finish line alive), remains to be seen. But I think he's pissed; I think he feels utterly betrayed and wronged and will play his cards completely differently during the second round.

Personally, for the sake of democracy, freedom, the country, and the betterment of humanity, I support him fully and want to see it play out.

In turn, the ongoing market activity in Bitcoins (CIA's DARPA created Bitcoin) and gold and silver coins, over the last decade or two suggests to me that the Deep State and their prime agent the CIA are up to no good. Let me explain.

First - setting the stage:

Back in the 1800's in the U.S., gold and silver coins were honest money. You could trade a coin for something of equal value with a neighbor, or a stranger, and it was no one else's damn business. And you could lead an ordinary life this way, directly with coins, or just one step removed with paper currency from some bank that you could routinely convert back and forth for coins, unless that particular issuing bank crashed.

Leaping forward to the present:

Nowadays, "returning" to a "gold backed currency" will mean converting:

from using banking paper bills and computer bits that are "backed" by the mortgage on your neighbor's home (fraudulently accounted, so that $1 of real debt ends up "backing" $10 or $100 of "currency, ),

to using banking paper bills and computer bits that are "backed" by the gold supposedly in their vaults (similarly fraudulently accounted).

Same bank paper/bit sh*t; different sh*t story.

It's a big con job, six ways from Sunday:

Those of us who might have been enamored of the idea of using "real constitutional money" such old fashioned gold and silver coinage that can be routinely and frequently used all the time, are being bought out.

"They" (the elite bastards) have and are setting up such liberty minded "constitutional money" advocates to make "lots of" (but still a lot less than Musk and Thiel handle) money buying Bitcoin and gold and silver coins while under the present debt-money system at a lower nominal price, and then selling those "coins" (bits or metal) back into the system after a major financial/monetary/... collapse and reset, for nicely bigger nominal prices (just to buy food and pay rent, perhaps).

End result ... us liberty minded "constitutional money" advocates get bought off, for a mere pittance on the scale the elite bastards use, while all but a token few bits and coins end up back in the bank's computers and vaults.

The big banks already have almost all the gold and silver (We guess ... they no longer honestly tell us what gold or silver they have.) The big money has also already bought up (or initially issued to the mythical Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto) most of the Bitcoins that will ever be issued. The banks will keep the "gold" and Bitcoins, while us peasants will continue to transact in digital and paper "receipts", at the pleasure and discretion of whoever really owns those banks. The banks never need worry again about being short of collateral for all the stock, bond and derivative paper they issue ... just mark up the claimed value of the bits and gold they claim to hold and, voila, they're rich again, and their balance sheet (which they never publish anyway) balances.

Being allowed to earn "money" in a job, or to spend that "money" for such silly trinkets as food, clothing, and shelter will depend on "behaving", however their AI bots and DEI hires decide is "behaving".

Next steps, if the Deep State wins this once again, over the coming months and year or three:

(1) Get Trump elected with massive popular support, so that those who are proud to call themselves "Americans" will follow him into this Matrix without complaining too much.

(2) Crash the financial, economic and monetary system, picking up most of the remaining Bitcoins and gold and silver coins from us HODL'ers who are getting sufficiently cold and hungry that we have to sell our stash to stay warm and eat.

(3) Rebuild the financial, economic and monetary system, in accordance with the tyrant's wet dreams.

I tend not to dismiss people for their past associations or even some lingering present ones - (Prodigal Son possibilities and all that...) and I hadn't heard anything about Vance before he became Trump's running mate - but when I first saw him and tried to feel him out - my intuition told me he was OK... the vibe I got from him was ok... (bearing in mind that I don't expect anyone to be perfect )

I listened to Tucker Carlson's speech at the RNC earlier and he spoke well of him and his informal 'endorsement' is a positive for me...

Just seen this Jimmy Dore Show about him (Vance)... and he more or less considers him (at the end of the show and at this point in time) a Mixed Bag....and remarked on a couple of big positives.. the Glenn dialogue is speeded up which is a bit distracting but it's a broad look at him by Glenn Greenwald who seems an intelligent and reasonable fellow......

When I first saw the shot of Donald Trump’s blood-smeared face as he pumped his fist in the air post–assassination attempt, I wondered how long it would be before it ended up on a T-shirt.

It was only a few hours before Barstool Sports’ Instagram account posted a T-shirt celebrating that photo, with the caption “If You Come at the King You Best Not Miss,” from fellow right-leaning Instagram account Old Row Official (which has several versions with several different slogans).

Then came the unofficial official branded merchandise: limited-edition sneakers depicting the aftermath of Trump’s assassination attempt. Relatedly, in February, Trump made a rather unorthodox campaign stop at Sneaker Con to introduce what he dubbed the first official Trump footwear.

“Cool,” I thought, “we’re monetizing assassination attempts now,” because whether you like Trump or not, an assassination attempt on a former president and the eventual 2024 Republican nominee—and one in which a rally attendee was brutally killed in front of his family—should be, in my opinion, at least met with a certain amount of … decorum? Even still, this was exactly what I expected, because this is America now: land of the free market and home to a population that will monetize … anything.

In many ways, Trump and his natural inclination to monetize and sell anything and everything—Bibles! Digital trading cards! Steaks! Pieces of his mug shot suit!—is a bit of a homegrown monster. Because for some time now, America has been flirting with the limits of what we won’t monetize.

It’s not just Trump: The American obsession with monetization transcends party lines.

There’s earning potential in pregnancy announcements, deaths (those that just happened …and infamous ones in the past; even those infamous deaths in the past you are probably responsible for), true crime, activism, and gun violence. Of course an assassination attempt would join the ranks.

Hustle! Grind! The left does it. The right does it. At some point, it brought the political spectrum together, evident in the time Gwyneth Paltrow (who has rebranded herself as someone who’ll sell anything headline-worthy) and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones (who in part built his personal brand off the backs of school shooting victims and their families) hawked (no, not hawk tuah-ed …) the same supplements branded differently for their ideologically opposed audiences.

While it might make us sleep better at night to pretend that historically, politics has always been first and foremost about ideology, politics has always been about selling us an idea (hope, for example) or a brand (Camelot, anyone?) that, for better or worse, ends up being monetized. It’s been done for years. Trump’s just been the most openly brazen with it.

Similarly, we like to pretend that art is pure and exists solely for the sake of expression, but even the word “patron” derives its meaning from the ruling class that supported, commissioned, and often dictated the work of artists. Like politics, creating has always been tied to commoditization, which brings us to … content creators.

Barstool Sports, the Instagram account where I first spotted that Trump-assassination-attempt T-shirt, has built a media empire by identifying, employing, and developing a bevy of content creators, a more palatable term for influencers.

A 2019 survey by Harris Poll and Lego found that American children were three times more likely to want to be YouTubers than musicians. By last year, “influencer” was the top career choice for Gen Zers, and 60 percent of Americans aged 13 to 38 said they’d enjoy influencing.

While we can fool ourselves into thinking that influencing is about “creating content,” it’s really about creating a commodity. While plenty of creatives use social media to grow their platforms or brands, the specific career of “influencing” is about influencing people to buy things for a more optimized life.

College students blithely shout out the brands they wear in OOTD videos. Middle schoolers show off their Sephora hauls. Family bloggers have branded their miscarriages. It’s become so mundanely second-nature to monetize your life—documenting and commoditizing every personal detail, win, and trauma—that Trump and the cohort of intrepid entrepreneurs monetizing an assassination attempt that left him injured and an American citizen dead doesn’t frankly even feel headline-worthy. It’s a twisted expectation in our perpetually mediated reality.

I get what you're saying about free speech and that it includes tolerance for lies and hate speech - but there are grey areas and (legal) limits that exist around that tolerance - IMO...

I can appreciate that the videos in question, here in this thread - must have generated a lot of discussion and decision making behind the scenes with Bill and the Mods... like how far does the tolerance go re free speech? etc etc... what are the standards of the forum and are they being breached....?...etc etc...

On a personal and energetic level... In my opinion, the vitriol in this thread is over the top and I also find the righteous virtue signaling of those who continue to spew such hatred offensive. The following recent post of mine seems apropos and I have also included an article published today by Zero Hedge as a current proof point.

My purpose for this post is to call the reader's attention to the potential impact this rhetoric may have on folks. Please note: I am not calling for this thread to be closed or anyone to be silenced in any way.


I typically do not respond to posts that dehumanize Trump, or anyone else, for that matter.  But I believe statements like the following foster the cycle of division and are themselves dangerous:

I am hoping this post will shed some light on the impact these kinds of words MAY have on those people who support Trump.

Before I begin however, I want to make it perfectly clear that the intent of this post is  NOT to suggest the following conclusions and/or implications are attributable to any particular Avalonian in any way.  I am simply using that quote as a means to make the following point.

The implications of the quoted statement above is that Trump is a horrific, unredeemable, threatening, person.  I don't believe it is a stretch, of any kind, to say that phrase is simply another way of saying he is a Hitler reincarnate.  As a matter of fact I have been at many social gatherings over the past 8 years where this was said word for word.  Additionally, a quick search of social media will find many examples of this as well.  

What does a civilized society do with people like that?  Well, if Hitler survived, he would have been tried at Nuremberg and executed.  This weekend's events, and the many calls for the next person to "not miss" illustrate this desire from SOME anti-Trump people.

But there is something much more sinister about making declarations like that.  And that is the implied beliefs that people who support Trump must also be dangerous, narcissistic, psychopaths who should also be removed from society.  A quick search of social media will find many examples of this as well.  

So, imagine being a Trump supporter, and you are having a discussion with someone who says "Trump is a dangerous narcissistic psychopath".  Well, the natural, normal, emotional response of the Trump supporter would be to feel threatened by what was just said.

The next logical question is ... Who really is the dangerous person?

So many of us watched in horror last Saturday when a 20-year-old assassin aimed at Donald Trump’s head just after he started his remarks at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. How and why did this happen? Did the mainstream and social media enable a radical to commit murder?

The June issue of the far-left publication The New Republic featured on its cover a vile photo of the faces of Trump and Adolf Hitler merged together. At the time it was released, we had no idea of what would transpire on July 13, 2024, when Thomas Matthew Crooks, using an AR-15 from 400 feet away, attempted, at the highest level, to interfere in the 2024 presidential election.

But should we be surprised? Hardly.

It’s been an open secret among leftist elites that regime-approved violence falls somewhere between “it’s okay to punch a Nazi” and “your speech is violence, while our violence is speech.” Media outlets like The Intercept’s Prem Thakker claim that Crooks was a registered Republican but he also made a small donation to Act Blue, a far-left PAC.

Regardless of party affiliation, the 20-year-old shooter was shockingly motivated to commit murder. Did it come to him in a dream? Was he personally harmed and looking for justice? Did he conclude that this was a logical and necessary act for the protection of society at large?

No. His motivation was driven by a firehose of personal hatred and outrageous propaganda promulgated by media platforms (and Democrats) that utilize Hitler imagery and Nazi narratives that are embedded in our minds as murderous, dangerous, and anti-human, all the while tying them to Donald Trump. If anyone thinks that the concept is outlandish, one only has to look at the past decade and see how this imagery and narrative have been pushed to influence the weak minds and radicals among us.

In reverse chronological order, let us examine three of the most egregious examples of the left using Trump-Hitler iconography to spew their disgusting narrative.

The New Republic (June 2024)

For its June 2024 issue, Owner and Editor-in-Chief Win McCormack and Editor Michael Tomasky were rightfully savaged on X/Twitter for the cover merging the faces of Trump and Hitler together. On X/Twitter, this was their rationalization and justification.

“We chose the cover image, based on a well-known 1932 Hitler campaign poster, for a precise reason: that anyone transported back to 1932 Germany could very, very easily have explained away Herr Hitler’s excesses and been persuaded that his critics were going overboard. After all, he spent 1932 campaigning, negotiating, doing interviews—being a mostly normal politician. But he and his people vowed all along that they would use the tools of democracy to destroy it, and it was only after he was given power that Germany saw his movement’s full face.

“Today, we at The New Republic think we can spend this election year in one of two ways. We can spend it debating whether Trump meets the nine or 17 points that define fascism. Or we can spend it saying, “He’s damn close enough, and we’d better fight.

“We unreservedly choose the latter course. And so we have assembled herein some of our leading intellectual historians of fascism; a member of the fourth estate who learned firsthand what the Trump lash feels like; a leading expert on civil-military relations; a great Guatemalan American novelist with a deep understanding of immigrants’ lives; one of our most incisive cultural critics; and a man with all-too-real experience in living under a notorious authoritarian regime. The scenarios they describe are certainly grim. We dare you to say, after reading these pieces, that they are impossible.”

It should be noted that The New Republic is barely profitable. One can hope that, because of its lack of editorial integrity, even left-wing elite intellectuals will abandon it before the 2028 presidential election so that it will go bankrupt and sink below the waves into historical irrelevance.

The Washington Post (December 20, 2023)

Back in December, author and attorney Mike Godwin opened his WaPo op-ed Opinion: “Yes, it’s okay to compare Trump to Hitler. Don’t let me stop you,” with a side profile graphic of Trump and Hitler back-to-back.

“My very minor status as an authority on Adolf Hitler comparisons stems from having coined ‘Godwin’s Law’ about three decades ago. I originally framed this “law” as a pseudoscientific postulate: As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one.’ (That is, its likelihood approaches 100 percent.)”

Godwin continues, “But when people draw parallels between Donald Trump’s 2024 candidacy and Hitler’s progression from fringe figure to Great Dictator, we aren’t joking. Those of us who hope to preserve our democratic institutions need to underscore the resemblance before we enter the twilight of American democracy.”

This plays directly into the ongoing progressive left narrative that Trump presents an existential threat to American democracy. If elected, Trump will be a dictator, and the 2024 election will be the last to be held in America. It goes back to the words of Hitler’s propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels’ law of propaganda, who once said, “Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth.” We’ve seen the media become sheep, often repeating the exact same talking point simultaneously, like for the last couple of years that Joe Biden is “sharp as a tack” and “runs circles around staffers that are half his age,” and that he “would never ban gas stoves.” We could go on.

Many on the progressive left, including influencers like MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, serve up this pablum for the masses on almost every broadcast. Worst of all, their low-information audiences tend to accept and believe it, repeating it at cocktail parties inside the DC Beltway. It’s like a self-fulfilling prophecy to them.

The Daily Beast (January 13, 2018)

The Trump-as-Hitler narrative didn’t happen overnight. The villification started the moment Trump announced his candidacy when he rode down the golden escalator with his wife Melania back on June 16, 2015. But it certainly accelerated when he dispatched his primary opponents, was nominated, and defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

Once in office, the attacks intensified, with no editorial guardrails to be seen. The mainstream media had the green light to engage in any attack, no matter how insane it might seem. The editors at the left-wing website, The Daily Beast, opined on January 13, 2018, just a year into the Trump Presidency, with the op-ed Trump’s War on the Press Follows the Mussolini and Hitler Playbook. Not only did they compare the evil Orange Man to Hitler but to Mussolini as well. The graphic? A color image of Trump superimposed over a historic black-and-white photo of Hitler and Mussolini standing side-by-side. It stated:

“The abasement of language by Donald Trump and his assorted flacks began long before, but this concept was so naked, so novel and so unblinkingly forthright that it established the rules for the assault to come, just as the first salvo of an artillery barrage signals the creation of a new battlefield where there will be many casualties.”

But it didn’t stop there.

“Trump has spent two years vilifying the “dishonest” media (including The Daily Beast), even invoking the Nazi chant of ‘enemies of the people.’ Aided by the alt-right zealots at Breitbart, he has successfully persuaded millions of Americans that The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, and MSNBC are seditious forces bent on denigrating and destroying the man they elected.”

Funny how, more than six years on, we have watched how all the media outlets cited above have turned out to be nothing more than stenographers for the Democrat Party, and since January 2021, for the most authoritarian presidency in our 245 years, the Biden administration until his dismal debate performance two weeks ago.

The Basic Difference Between Right- and Left-Wing Media
There are very few right-leaning popular culture magazines to find anything comparable to The New Republic, newspapers like the Washington Post, or web platforms like The Daily Beast that would merge an image of Joe Biden with Forrest Gump to return the favor. You won’t see mainstream conservative websites with a large following like The Blaze or Brietbart (or American Greatness) publish anything like that. With the exception of Fox News and all the major broadcast and cable networks. ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, and especially MSNBC, lean left.

It’s not because the imagery and political pushback are not deserved. It’s because this is not a “both sides” issue. The violence here is solidly footed on the left. Antifa, BLM, Occupy Democrats, Just Stop Oil…all left-wing organizations. And they are organized, not nutty individuals with their own ideas at work. Violence is a common tool in the left’s arsenal, and they are not hesitant to use it.

Most likely, we will find that the 20-year-old who shot Trump is among that group. He was probably marinating in hate his entire young life. It likely began at home, where parenting has nearly collapsed, and was extended in the public school system, where kids are taught the absolutist Marxist notion of “oppressors versus the oppressed,” villains versus heroes, Good versus Evil. He would have been a fine candidate for the KKK back in the 1950s and 1960s.

A media and political party that ties a man to Hitler, to a petty dictator, to an authoritarian, and to someone who needs to be defeated “by any means necessary” is complicit in this murder attempt. Democrats and the legacy media completely understand that they can still influence weak-minded, radical people to do their bidding and hide their complicity under the veneer of plausible deniability.

Of course, there will be no real media accountability here aside from sharply declining readership and viewership. The media will just move on, unapologetically changing the subject and hoping nobody will notice or remember the slanders.

Politicians, however, push these extreme narratives at their own peril. They are creating an underclass of radicals that cannot be controlled, and once these murderers-in-training are set loose, the leftist politicians who made them will need to hide, for they could be the next target.
