NAIROBI: A nursing dog foraging for food found an abandoned baby girl in a forest in Kenya and carried the infant to its litter of puppies, witnesses said yesterday.

The stray dog carried the infant across a busy road and a barbed wire fence in a poor neighbourhood near the Ngong Forests in the capital, Stephen Thoya told the independent Daily Nation newspaper.

The dog apparently found the baby on Friday in the plastic bag in which the infant had been abandoned, said Aggrey Mwalimu, owner of the compound where the animal is now living.

It was unclear how the baby survived in the bag without suffocating.

What a fine race us humans are, hey? Than k the earth it has created a creature in this dog that gives a damn! This race we call humans is a sad sad race, that deserves all the hardship it will find itself in, should this be the way that we treat our precious young.

I have said for years now, it is we humans who should be behind bar in zoo`s. As it was stated , if the dog was foraging for food then it obviously saw more value in life then the childs mother, otherwise surely the child would have been eaten.....

that baby girl will grow up with a very special life story.
there are many stories and myths about humans being brought up
by direct or indirect aid of animals.

The girl, who is unable to speak, was discovered living in a squalid flat in the Siberian city of Chita.
Police said she had never been allowed outside and had adopted the behaviour of the animals she lived with.
They said she now "barked like a little dog" and jumped at the door when her carers left the room.
Police are questioning the girl's mother, but her father has not yet been found.

I don't think any mentally healthy woman will give up her child, that she has carried for 9 month in her own body, voluntarily !!
Only under enormous stress and pressure she will do that. Never out of free will.
She must have been really desperate. And all her life she will have to carry that burden.
Poor woman....

That's my humble opinion

It is a mistake to classify all humans into one category.
There are humans at all levels of spiritual development on this planet.

Each of us has a story, Humans, Dogs, Rocks and trees.

I read a book about feral children throughout history and I highly recommend it. Savage Girls and Wild Boys
