It is a fair bet that any ‘media reform’ welcomed by Dr Moshe Kantor, President of the European Jewish Congress, will be bad news for the defenders of free speech. So it is with his reaction to the British government’s groundbreaking new definition of anti-Semitism.

We welcome the UK’s landmark decision to define anti-Semitism, particularly in the face of rising attacks against Jews. We must now look towards other European governments to follow the example set by the UK.

He is referring to the British government’s decision to adopt a “legally binding definition” which will be used by police forces, councils, universities and public bodies. This ratchets the law sharply in the direction of making Jews a legally protected group and placing them beyond criticism. It would certainly sharply curtail academic and journalistic discussion of Jewish group behaviour.

If they are making a decision to start coming out of the closet more, since in some small areas of alt land they are being outed anyway, maybe they will stop changing their names from the more gentile sounding names as they've been doing for centuries to their real names and start pulling aside the veil a little more, letting us all know how ubiquitous they really have been all along.

It would make sense that they would need extra protection if they were gearing to take the gloves off, i.e., stop letting the dumb gentiles think they run things, LOL. What are they planning on doing that they feel they will need extra protection? Are they planning something that would naturally result in potential retaliation against them?

I don't believe this legislation is it an end in itself...

Britain is ruled by those who call themselves Jews so this is no surprise. Is it also a suprise that they have had a deep hatred for the atrocities done to them even though they have brought this on themselves. Is it any wonder why there has been mass migration going on at least back into the 1950's in Britain. Do the Jews marry outside of their faith or race? do you think mass migration is a good thing? Do you think it was a way to destabilize and force the focus elsewhere? Do you think this was done out of love and/or for financial reasons like expanding the economy? Or was this done out of hate for the non jews?
We can't tarnish all Jews with the same brush or even conclusively say that the fault lies with them but they don't help their cause much. I am certainly open to the Jews being a form of patsy or scapegoat in world history. But then again they are one of the global players at the least.

I want to clarify that my first post is not meant to disgrace the Jews. I realize that there are many Jews here and most of them if not all I admire. A famous person, whose name we must be careful of saying publicly today lest some, including members of the subject group, could claim being offended, once said - “Do Not Cast Pearls Before Swine”. Not only does Semite not, orginally, mean what they imply, neither does "anti". From the Greek, it rarely means "combatting against", as in anti-aircraft, it usually meant "instead of"--so even during the times when there was an anti-pope, that meant an alternative pope to the official one, more than it did an opposite or an enemy. So the closest original meaning I could get from "anti-Semitic" is "instead of Syrian". Wherever they're going with this, is a pretty new definition indeed.
