George Michael
Singer George Michael has died aged 53, his publicist has said.
The star, who launched his career with Wham in the 1980s and later continued his
success as a solo performer, is said to have "passed away peacefully at home".
Thames Valley Police said South Central Ambulance Service attended a property in
Goring in Oxfordshire at 13:42 GMT.
Police say there were no suspicious circumstances.
Michael, who was born Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou in north London, sold more
than 100m albums throughout a career spanning almost four decades.
In a statement, the star's publicist said: "It is with great sadness that we can
our beloved son, brother and friend George passed away peacefully at home over
home over the Christmas period.
"The family would ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult and emotional
time. There will be no further comment at this stage."

Yeah it was more of a shock than I thought , Whams music was not a particular
favourite of mine , but it was part of the era for me and it was a fun time

I was actually a fan of George Michael's "Older" album from the 90's.
I'm genuinely saddened. Much too young to go.

Very sad to hear of his passing and of the troubles he had. Ditto Rick Parfitt.
Strange kind of synchronicity going on given that around this time a year or so ago it was Lemmy and David Bowie.
Peace be upon them.

Yes, it is very sad. I know George Michael had has issues, like all of us, yet he died too soon, and on Christmas... Didn't the Queen of England tell Elton John that a lot of celebrities had to die soon, and when Elton looked at her with disdain, she said to him, be careful you might be next. It is a conspiracy theory, yet it seems too sad and wasteful of talent and life to me.

I just had a quick look at the news - and it was quiet puzzling: George Michael passed, only 53 years old.
Its one of those moments: what? No!
I wished he had more, happy, time ahead. Its sad, he gave us wonderful music and yet life had so many struggles for him in store.
Not a 'Wham-fan', but I took interest in his work.
My all time favorite George Michael song (for me its his song )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t-AVCTn8JA
I can't light
No more of your darkness
All my pictures
Seem to fade to black and white
I'm growing tired
And time stands still before me
Frozen here on the ladder of my life
Too late to save myself from falling
I took a chance and changed your way of life
But you misread my meaning when I met you
Close the door and left me blind by the light
Don't let the sun go down on me
:sun: we won't :sun:
 Rest in peace beautiful soul

@scheme
just as an addendum to my last posting: I never rule out foul play when an entertainment personality meets an untimely demise-
for for the record: do read David McGowan's mind-blowing "Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon" about the Hippie generation (obviously not much has changed since then) as a history of the unexplainable deaths of younger entertainment personalities-
obviously George Michael was no spring chicken anymore but in his last appearances seemed to be very physically fit- but then why did he wear a belt whose buckel displayed the head of Baphomet and at least once gave the satanic hand-sign during Queen Eliabeth's last jubilee?
as the saying goes: when you make a pact with the devil the devil bears no loyalties...

Hi Larry, that sounds very interesting.
Is there a picture of GM wearing this belt ?
And is there any other indications that GM might have been a satanist ?

Coinciding with Queen Elizabeth and her prediction of a loss of many celebrities, such is the case of George Michael I am sorry to say that I believe now that George Michael was involved with Satanism. Max Spiers did an interview with a polish interviewer and stated that George Michael was one of the people involved with child trafficking. I thought I heard this interview before, so going back again to the interview was quite shocking that I didn't catch it before. His song with the lyrics: I will be your father figure, put your tiny hand in mine... now has a different meaning for me. I remember his songs and videos on the radio and never thought about what some of these things meant. I was so naive, and never knew someone like George Michael would be caught up in this, but people on the outside look superficially normal and even have glamour, but behind the scenes things can be quite different. Now I have to wonder how many things I cannot begin to understand about how this world works.... I also have a thought that George Michael was a sacrifice as some of the karma of child trafficking should be on him and diverted away from other perps. Not sure why I thought that....

It has taken 10 weeks for George Michael's cause of death to emerge
George Michael died as a result of heart disease, a coroner has confirmed.
The pop star suffered a dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty
liver, according to Darren Salter, senior coroner for Oxfordshire.
The singer died aged 53 on Christmas Day at his home in Goring-on-Thames, Oxfordshire.
Because there was a "natural cause of death", the coroner said there was no
need for an inquest. Michael's funeral is not thought to have taken place yet.
