Are the knives out for Donald Trump even before he takes office? On the back of the news report that a British agent passed information to American secret services that the Russians have compiled evidence of misconduct by Trump both personally and financially, or is this a plot to discredit him once again?

Absolutely, he is potentially about to go against the corrupt, the banksters and war-for-profiteers. The media manipulators are becoming more ludicrous by the day. It will be a miracle if he lives much longer! I have just watched Julian Assange's broadcast rC2EjKYMCeg which shines a light upon all the vile and evil-doings of those who would try to control the world, highly recommended.

The alt news media doesn't seem to believe it -- they're generally emphasising
that Russia says they have no incriminating data on Trump (nor Clinton)

I think it's a bit telling, that this dossier was handed to the FBI by John McCain.
(1) That's entirely the wrong way round.
It should be an intelligence agency handing a dossier of evidence to a senator...
...not vice versa.
Where the dickens has John McCain got his 'intelligence info' from ?
Normally, the CIA/FBI/NSA/etc are the source of intelligence dossiers, not the
recipients.
(2) The source of the info is suspect. John McCain is the cabal puppet that's
been the intermediary between ISIS (murdering/beheading/raping terrorists)
and the CIA and Israel. He's been authorising financial payments, weaponry
supplies, medical and logistical support to terrorist mercenaries. The same
ones that have been beheading dozens of people at once, setting people on
fire, and who have been selling women and girls into sex slavery.
The cabal, it seems, is utterly satanic, in the selection of it's methods.

I don't believe this story. I think they're just attacking Trump with lies.
It's the kind of thing that immature school children do.

I expect we'll see lots and lots more lies told about Trump in the next 4 or 5 years.

Trump isn't a puppet, per se, but he didn't get to where he is, unharmed, without help that he may be totally unaware of. The military want him in. Their intelligence agencies have the dirt on everybody too. It's a mutual blackmailing society. If the CIA or more centrist republicans give the Donald too much grief, THEIR control files get pulled.

I agree Lucidity, even Putin has warned the western media in press conferences about the actions of the US and the west. We can all see whats going on maybe not with all the facts to hand but I wouldn't trust any intelligence agency. Even Obama in the past has said that he didn't trust the CIA. My head is spinning trying to figure out if I should be worried about Trump or worried for him.

I do not like Trump. I can't think of much nice to say about a man who is so crass and divisive, but that being said I get why people voted for him given the other option. There is a sliver of hope that he is outside the status quo and might deviate from "the agenda".

So my head is spinning because I have found myself trying to defend this baboon to friends and family over the last day because the mainstream media is reporting what amounts to gossip, nothing has been verified regarding #pissgate people! The powers that be are trying so hard to paint Trump as "being in bed" with the Russians. I am finding it comical one moment and horrifying the next.

However, just as I start feeling sorry for Trump and thinking that they are trying to blackmail him into sticking to "the agenda" Trump goes and uses this situation as an excuse to shut down questions from the media, specifically CNN, who I am also not a fan of, but still want them to be able to ask questions. What kind of slippery journalism and politics slope are we on? Politicians must be willing and able to answer all questions and from a number of different media outlets, be them "mainstream" or not.
