wow

the Clintons pocketing the billions before anyone who paid for their influence (countries, companies, hyper rich people) get on them to have their money back... or ... before the foundation is linked to the pedophilia scandal.

Hilary may have to hide after all.

22 employees to be laid off by mid April.

One would expect some layoffs after the elections.

Note that the mentioned "Clinton Global Initiative" is only a part of the bigger "The Clinton Foundation".

Please clarify, is it multi-facetted (probably), can anyone unravel/deconstruct this globalistic fiasco, as leads to the Cayman Islands are obvious....?

The Clinton Foundation Is Shutting Down The Clinton Global Initiative (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-01-14/clinton-foundation-shutting-down-clinton-global-initative)

http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/pictures/picture-5.jpg (http://www.zerohedge.com/users/tyler-durden)by Tyler Durden (http://www.zerohedge.com/users/tyler-durden) Jan 15, 2017 7:32 AM

In a "mass layoff" event reported late last week by the Department of Labor (https://labor.ny.gov/app/warn/details.asp?id=5801), the Clinton Foundation announced it would lay off some 22 employees at the Clinton Global Initiative, which attained notoriety during the John Podesta leaks, when the various details of the fallout between CGI head Doug Band and Chelsea Clinton (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-16/clinton-aide-doug-band-goes-backstabbing-chelsea-apple-doesnt-fall-far)were revealed; it also emerged that long-time Bill Clinton friend Band was soliciting donations for Clinton (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-26/doug-band-memo-offers-vivid-details-foundation-corporate-donors-and-bills-profit-act) through his PR firm, Teneo in a sordid example of "pay for play" which most of the mainstream media refused to cover, especially after Band emailed Podesta "If this story gets out, we are screwed (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-30/doug-band-john-podesta-if-story-gets-out-we-are-screwed)."

Filed as mandated by the Department of Labor's Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (https://labor.ny.gov/app/warn/details.asp?id=5801), or WARN notice, on January 12, the Clinton Foundation's Veronika Shiroka (https://www.linkedin.com/in/veronikashiroka) advised the DOL that as part of a "Plant Layoff" it would layoff 22 workers on April 15, with reason for the dislocation stated as "Discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initiative." The layoffs are part of the Clinton plan put in motion ahead of the presidential election, to offset a storm of criticism regarding pay-to-play allegations during Clinton’s tenure as secretary of state.

As the Daily Caller notes (http://dailycaller.com/2017/01/14/heads-are-finally-beginning-to-roll-at-the-clinton-foundation/), the layoffs were reportedly announced internally in September (http://redirect.viglink.com/?format=go&jsonp=vglnk_148444223540014&key=e7609c039c08d3ae00aebd97e6f0bffd&libId=ixxy3fbe010110e3000DAb97feij0&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fdailycaller.com%2F2017%2F01%2F14%2Fheads-are-finally-beginning-to-roll-at-the-clinton-foundation%2F&v=1&out=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.politico.com%2Fstory%2F2016%2F09%2Fclinton-foundation-layoffs-228443&ref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F&title=The%20Clinton%20Foundation%20Is%20Laying%20Off%2022%20CGI%20Staffers%20%7C%20The%20Daily%20Cal ler&txt=announced%20internally), ahead of Clinton’s stunning loss to President-elect Donald Trump. Many other employees had already begun looking for or accepting other jobs at that time, as it had become clear the future of the initiative was in doubt. It’s unclear how many of the once 200 strong staff might remain at the Clinton Foundation in some other capacity.

As a reminder, while the FBI has cleared Hillary Clinton of wrongdoing regarding her use of a private email server, a parallel probe into the Clinton Foundation regarding allegations of corruption is still ongoing.

The decision to sunset the Clinton Global Initiative reportedly set off a dispute within Clinton Foundation circles regarding the best way to handle the fallout from the allegations. Some complained the layoff process was “insensitively” handled, Politico reported, while others took issue with the optics of allowing anyone with the Clinton Global Initiative to stay on.

And while CGI is now officially being "discontinued", the same fate likely awaits the Clinton Foundation itself following news in the aftermath of Hillary Clinton's loss to Trump that Australia has cut its donations to the foundation to $0 (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-25/australia-joins-norway-it-cuts-clinton-foundation-donations-0), while the far more generous Norway likewise slashed its donations by 87% (http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-11-20/norway-slashes-clinton-foundation-donations-87-clintons-political-clout-dried)as the political clout of the "charitable" organization dried up and as the opportunity for any future "quid pro quo" is now effectively gone.

More news regarding this developing story:

The Clinton Foundation’s long list of wealthy donors and foreign government contributors during the 2016 elections provoked critics to allege conflicts of interests. Clinton partisans defended the organization’s charitable work, and dismissed claims that it served as a means for the Clintons to sell off access, market themselves on the paid speech circuit, and elevate their brand as Hillary Clinton campaigned for the presidency.

But as soon as Clinton lost the election, many of the criticisms directed toward the Clinton Foundation were reaffirmed. Foreign governments began pulling out of annual donations, signaling the organization’s clout was predicated on donor access to the Clintons, rather than its philanthropic work. In November, the Australian government confirmed it “has not renewed any of its partnerships with the scandal-plagued Clinton Foundation, effectively ending 10 years of taxpayer-funded contributions worth more than $88 million.” The government of Norway also drastically reduced their annual donations, which reached $20 million a year in 2015.

On January 12, the Clinton Foundation received more bad news: a WARN notice was filed with the New York Department of Labor. The main office of the Clinton Global Initiative in New York City would be closing, laying off 22 employees. The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) “offers protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notice 60 days in advance of covered plant closings and covered mass layoffs. This notice must be provided to either affected workers or their representatives (e.g., a labor union); to the State dislocated worker unit; and to the appropriate unit of local government.” The reason for the filing was stated as the “discontinuation of the Clinton Global Initative,” after CGI previously announced layoffs leading up to the general election.

The Clinton Global Initiative was created in 2005 to serve as a networking platform for the Clinton Foundation. Both the initiative’s mission and its own definition of what it seeks to accomplish are vague. “Rather than directly implementing projects, CGI facilitates action by helping members connect, collaborate, and make effective and measurable Commitments to Action—plans for addressing significant global challenges,” states the CGI website. The Clinton Global Initiative and Clinton Foundation director of media relations have not responded to requests for a comment.

WikiLeaks revealed several criticisms of the Clinton Foundation were true, as pay-to-play schemes and the foundation’s corrupt management were exposed. On October 26, The Washington Post reported a memo detailed how the Clinton Foundation was used to boost Bill Clinton’s income.

“The memo, made public Wednesday by the anti-secrecy group WikiLeaks, lays out the aggressive strategy behind lining up the consulting contracts and paid speaking engagements for Bill Clinton that added tens of millions of dollars to the family’s fortune, including during the years that Hillary Clinton led the State Department,” reported The Washington Post. “It describes how Band helped run what he called “Bill Clinton Inc.,” obtaining “in-kind services for the President and his family—for personal travel, hospitality, vacation and the like.”

The Clinton Foundation‘s downward trajectory ever since since Hillary Clinton’s election loss provides further testimony to claims that the organization was built on greed and the lust for power and wealth—not charity.

Protesters Demand Clinton Foundation to Shut Down on Anniversary of Haiti Earthquake

On the 7th anniversary of the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Haitian activists gathered in front of the Clinton Foundation in New York City protesting the prosecutions of the Clintons after “hundreds of millions of dollars” were mismanaged through the Interim Haiti Reconstruction Commission, according to activists.

Standing outside holding bright colored posters, while chanting “Hillary Clinton where’s the money,” KOMOKODA, a Committee to Mobilize Against Dictatorship in Haiti, demanded that U.S. President-elect Donald J. Trump keep his campaign promise to shut down the Clinton Foundation, and prosecute the Clintons as well as their cronies. Seven years after the tragic earthquake took thousands of lives in Haiti, family and friends continue to mourn their losses, and no answers of where the missing funds went for relief efforts.

“The Clinton Foundation is a symbol of thieves and corruption,” said Dahoud Andre, a member of KOMOKODA. “The Clintons stole money that was meant to help the people of Haiti and they belong in jail.”

KOMOKODA created and printed 500 flyers given to passersby as some stopped to shake hands as they continued to chant, “The Clinton Foundation stole $6 billion dollars, thieves!”

“That’s 500 people today who have been informed about what’s going on,” said Andre.

What they aren't talking about (yet) is the fact that the Clinton Foundation was facilitating the trafficking of children out of Haiti into sex slavery, and also aiding companies like DynCorp to hold children in "pens" in Haiti while waiting on wealthy contributors elsewhere in the world to pick them out from catalogues of victims such as what were found at Jeffrey Epstein's mansion when he was raided.

We'll see how this is handled in coming weeks/months, but in the mean time, the Clintons and a lot of other groups seem to be cleaning house. They must be at least a little bit concerned. :)
