Do we break illusions or just let them build up in silence?

Is it not our responsibility to each other, to make things clear?
Are you offended when your fantasies are broken by truth?

For example: I have an illusion that devils are watching my every function. I believe everyone is my enemy. I believe that there are abductions happening everywhere. That everything is some form of evil deception?


Sure, there is naughty play in action! But the level people go to for entertainment and drama is absurd, all the people stuck in trauma is huge.

I'm here to be balanced and to help others and be helped by others to experience life in a "better way"

I'm not here to pretend to believe in INSANITY and I think it is our common responsibility to help one another to be balanced in what is real and not real.



I understand that breaking fantasies may cause additional trauma, but sometimes we have to be aggressive and truthful even when it hurts, because the other option is indifference and false agreeance.

barney. That was an example of an illusion. I'm sorry I didn't phrase it correctly. I do have doubts about other peoples intentions at some times but generally I assume we're all here for each other!

Sunny. I did not make this thread to dramatize about fantasies. My main point is that we often come to a choice where we either let someone be self deceptive and ignore intervention, or we do so and become aggressive and have to defend ourselves, because to many, the worst thing you can do is telling the truth about their own self-deceptions.

Just to play the game I'll make a silly example of a fantasy.

I have this fantasy where I believe you ate my lunch from the common room fridge.
You know this not to be true, but I do not believe you.
You have timestamped video that shows me eating my own lunch.
You show me the video, and I deny its legitimacy.

In reality I probably forgot about eating my own lunch and my fantasy made me keep blaming you for it, even after the evidence was shown I keep blaming you for it.

I'm not making another example, I'm sure you can come up with some argument that says fantasy and reality is only relative to personal experience.

Hillary Clinton goes to Bosnia and is under sniper fire.
Video evidence shows she is not under sniper fire.

50 years ago I think all of this would go without saying.

It's only because of a culture has developed where people think that they are allowed to believe whatever they choose without ever being challenged or have someone disagree with them, that you feel the need to post something like this.

That's why you also see an increasing number of people flipping out and ending friendships over differences of opinion. There has been way too much coddling going on for way too long.
