The “Mystery Stone” is on display at the Museum of New Hampshire History in Concord, N.H.,
June 28, 2006. The stone is believed to have been discovered in 1872 by workers digging for a fence post near Lake Winnipesaukee, but no one knows for sure who made it, why, how, or when
it was made.

The face reminds me of the Olmec head statues. Very concise carvings, crisp, clear.

Upon seeing the picture of it, it immediately reminded me of a head carved by the "Mississippians" which I saw somewhere here on Avalon.

Not too sure what to make of it ...

The part that strikes me is the perfect egg shape, and a few of the symbols that look like they have been on the "egg" for longer than the others ...

Does anyone know what the symbol on the right image on the top left side is / means? It looks almost a little like lettering from pre-sanskrit that has been found on various artifacts around the globe -- but that line of symbols, to me doesn't fit so good with the rest ... I wonder if it might be a super ancient artifact more recently "reworked"?

Perhaps it was made to seal a treaty between an off-world race and an indigenous race. This is the first time that I have heard of this. It's amazing what one can find or learn when their eyes and mind are open.
