Yep just like me an Canadian too :) Crazy gemini and indigo spirit proudly Canadian... In fact, most of the Indigo children have arrived on earth and are already acting as psychics and spiritual teachers and healers. The Indigo .... I, too, am a Gemini.
Alanis Nadine Morissette is a spiritual being and a free spirit gemini/indigo...!

Isnt it ironic, like good advice you just cant take. What a classic line.
So why do you gemini claim exclusivity on being an indigo starchild? The rest of us are just slugs? ;-)
Just kidding. Good to celebrate what you are.

I am rhesus negative so I can claim to be blue. I don't think one has to be gemini to be indigo. There is a very good talk on Capricorn Radio re Indigo children and based on the guest Maureen Healey's Indigo children identifiers, I and most of my family are indigo and only the youngest, a new niece, is Gemini. A large number of us are water and earth signs. Water sign people are supposed to be particularly spiritual. But I suppose that spiritual doesn't mean psychic.
My grandson, a young Capricorn, sees spirits of the deceased, and claims that ET are visiting him at night and he is newly four years old. He definitely fits the indigo description. I was remembering other lives when I was two and three years old and I too am Capricorn with Virgo rising and Scorpio Moon. and also fit the indigo description. My daughter when growing up saw "things," which we were never able to identify. She still sees goat apparitions, even though she is an adult. She is Pisces with Scorpio Moon and I can't remember the rest. One son is Libra with Leo Moon and the other son is Leo with Libra moon.
Two of these children are rhesus positive and a son is rhesus negative, like me. The rhesus negatives seem to be the most different and unwilling to play out the human drama and are more Indigo. We might even be thought of as having a little ADHD, despite having had minimal vaccintations. The Rh+ son is very musical and spends a lot of time in his artistic creative space. I have had a series of psychic experiences throughout my life. I am a little nervous of some of them and have self-suggested that I not scare myself with strangeness and I think that has reduced these experiences. I am finding courage and have been inviting gentle experiences back into my life. At present, most of them are occurring in my sleep -- and are remembered. For example, I am again having OBEs, have started meeting ETs, and was called upon one night, to help somebody pass over.
I have a very strong psychic connection to my sister; uncanny would be the best description. We tend to start an activity only to find that the sibling is beginning on the same activity. We also have similar thoughts or ideas at similar moments
I think the rhesus factor contributes somewhat to the indigo experience. Maybe it's the copper vs the iron in the system and they attract different types of psychic experiences and phenomena. My sister is Rh+ as was our mother and I can see the differences, also between my children. The Rh+ tend to be more social and considerate of humanity; the Rh- tend to be more anti-social and while caring about what happens to humanity, are disinterested in socializing, small talk, playing out human dramas, are very spiritual, and at a loss as to how to help humankind evolve. I try to be non-judgmental, kind, and am naturally compassionate towards my fellow man and because I don't like to interact much, I am a good listener and many folks have used me to work out their problems. Despite being so anti-social, both my father, another Rh-, and I believed/believe strongly in service to humankind and we both served/serve.
I would think that most Avalon members are Indigo.

Indigo people (not children anymore) were born in the 70s and the 80s. The next generations of lightworkers were the crystal and the rainbow children. So, this is not something to celebrate anymore, we are out of fashion :P

I think the term "Indigo Children" is just another way of imagining you are a perfect little snowflake and that god loves you more than he loves the other snowflakes.
I think the term falls right in line with the whole "newage" movement that was more than likely a CIA psy-op.
I've got nothing against spirituality, I use crystals to meditate and I'm all about cracking open that walnut known as the third eye.
But any accomplishments along those lines are the result of work, not being born special or gifted.

I don't think it's about being special or gifted, it's about spiritual origin, and the energy you bring with you.
Thanks Gaia, what happened to Alannis Morisette? I enjoyed some of her songs when she was around.
