Letter to Obama from Khalid Sheik Mohammed

This letter to Obama from Guantanamo captive Khalid Sheik Mohammed was published by the Miami Herald two days ago - and has been picked up by many news site since then. The letter outlines the reasons for the Sept. 11 attacks. Some of the first questions that popped into my mind while reading it: "Why now?" and "Is it authentic?"

If Khalid Sheik Mohammed was intelligent enough to understand how U.S. foreign policy negatively affected the world, by making it more violent, less safe, less equitable, less democratic, then he was also intelligent enough to understand that the events of 9/11 helped further the U.S.A. in the continuation in these type of activities. I can only imagine that the real author of this letter is someone who sits in Langley, Virginia creating other such disinformation.

And I'm pretty new to this, and it smelled like rubbish. But why now? Could it have something to do with WikiLeak's Vault 7 and possible Sept. 11 documents? A distraction?

Throw everything else out of that letter but this one statement

"It was not we who started the war against you in 9/11; it was you and your dictators in our land,"

He is saying they didn't attack us on 9/11, it was our leaders...

Yeah, this letter is total bull ****.
The Saudi's had their hand the events which involved 9/11 and which happened afterwards.
Trust me, if the House of Suad were to all suddenly die, it would not be a bad thing.
But larger things were at play regarding 9/11.

The attributed letter writer is b.s. but you know what? A lot of it sounds true. (Not the 9/11 O.B.L stuff) Madeline Albright did say those things, all those drone attacks and killing of wedding parties have happened. They did what was outlined in there in other countries. It's very ugly. You can try to rationalize it but you can't deny it. I read about this 25 years ago in Chomsky, Parenti and Blum. Just look at General Smedly Butler. War is definitely a "Racket." And we're supporting this, willy-nilly. Wow.

Makes one wonder why "they" would create a document with so much true damning information about US foreign activities.
