Introduction to unseen energies

Hi. I'm new to this and I'm going to 'suck it and see' as an approach to get into the site which presently seems overwhelming. I have a bit of an issue which I hope members will kindly comment on. I am presently attempting to raise my vibrational energy. Vegan one month ( no problem so far), cutting down on booze ( bit harder), trying to maintain positive thoughts and to be non-critical and sarcastic ( quite hard for me). The idea, eventually is to open up channels and to 'see' what is around and beyond the immediate, physical third dimension. I have an interest in meeting ET, in astral projection in seeing other entities. Trouble is I'm looking at various aspects of religion and looking at demonology and have just read hostage to the devil by Malakay martin. There are warnings that demonic energies infest those dimensions closest to us and use trickery and infiltration to make us see what we want to see and so on. So, I'm a little worried and wonder what members have to say on this subject, on shielding, how to proceed safely and reassurance that I ain't going to end up being attacked and possessed if I continue. They can just enter you if you allow it, or ask for it. The higher your vibrational energy the less you encounter them, they will not be able to be near you anymore.

You can't take in all that is here in Avalon at once, just on a daily basis the material is to vast.

Focus

Don't push your self, be happy day by day and try to take in the essence of being outside the OLD ESTABLISHED world of the POWERS THAT WERE.

Be interested in what you can see and feel to be the good stuff.

Learn some Clearing, Cleansing meditations (I made big mistakes of not doing enough of these and or re-energising meditations in the past) to block out the negatives, which in-turn empowers you, which in-turn brings to you the good stuff, beings and entities.

Welcome. I've been consciously astral traveling for more than a decade. Adding to the other good advice you've received so far: 1) When going into the astral, remain fearless (you are immortal); 2) To raise your vibration, get out in nature, look for consciousness everywhere you go and remove yourself as much as possible from negative energy flows, whether they be coming from social media sites (FB, Twitter) or the mainstream media.
