It was about six years ago.
the one way system in town had been changed.
the incident happened on a T junction,
the give way was on the right,
but its been changed,
So now the give way is now in front,
With the main road going to the right,
So, now if you want to carry on up the road,
You indicate to the left.
(I hope this makes sense.)
this was only a matter of seconds,
I ride a pushbike,
I've checked behind me for traffic,
The road is clear,
I've started to turn round to follow the one way system,
Then i've come to a slow stop,
As if someone in front has put their hand up to make me stop,
I feel an energy round me,
My musles tense up,
like being held by a giant hand.
My gardian angel,
Tells me not to move,
The hairs on my neck stand up,
Theres a tingling sensation thats getting stronger,
it really intense now,
Then a car shoots fast past me,
Its that close,
I brake the left side passenger wing mirror with my handle bar,
The breeze from the car moved my jeans.
the car didn't stop.
I believe i am here for a reson.

I believe i am here for a reson.
yes me too and everyone else is here for especial (unique) reason. dont fall for "find my purpose" stuff we have tons of it here and yet no seems to find theirs except those that accept theirs. what do you think would have happened if you resist the force that stop you in the middle of the road? go with the flow. whatever you have right, now thats your purpose your reason for being here
welcome

Yes, you are here for a reason. Thanks for sharing that and thanks to your guardian angel for ensuring that you stay here.

I've heard similar, direct from the mouth of the experiencer. Walking swiftly between two parked cars, walked into an invisible wall. Car zoomed past a fraction of a second later.
Thoroughly recommend this book. Guardian Angels (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/171401.An_Inquiry_Into_the_Existence_of_Guardian_Angels)

I too have experienced that feeling that holds you - I do not think most of us have the capacity (at this point anyway) to push past it.
The title of the thread "Divine intervention" and the term guardian angel coincide with religion beliefs. What if we take religion out of it - how else could this be theorized?
I do believe that there are types of spirit energies that can interact with us. Is it to keep us on a path? Is it because we have another purpose? This is how I have always thought as well, but what if it is something else? What if we are doing it to ourselves for ourself without realizing it?

Hair raising on your arms, chills hearing Angels emergency bells going off before glancing over and seeing a child about to die....
I can't tell you how many times I've experienced it...

Kinda like that, Dude, kicking back on the beach, sudden angel call, save a kid that would have drowned behind the lifeguard tower, then grabbing the board and heading back to surf...
Angels don't stick around for thanks, they disappear with a smile.

Thank you.
I couldn't resist.

I worked in a freezer warehouse,
We used ride on ppt equipment to unload the lorries.
These weigh up to 2.5 tonne.
I was told to unload a lorry that was on one of the bays,
By my Team leader,
So,
I've gone to the bay,
Undid the doors,
Put the ramp on the lorry,
To begin to unload the delivery,
The lorry was quite foggy,
And dark,
So I couldn't see the back of the trailer,
As I've moved onto the ramp,
Between the ramp and the back of the trailer,
The driver has driven away,
And I've fallen 5 foot to the ground outside the warehouse,
With the ppt.
The ppt didn't survive,
I walked away with no injury.
After the investigation,
It was decided that it was my team leader's fault.
And he was sacked.

I saw a documentary the other day about the 'Girl in a Box'. It wasn't this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=orMW1F4_Nsc) but a newer one, but that's the terrible gist of it. It's the true story of Collen Stan, who was abucted from a highway in california whilst hitch-hiking in 1977. The story of what happened to her you just don't want to think about, or go on to remember, but what stayed with me is this (and it made me smile a bitter-sweet smile).
Shortly after accepting the ride offered by the people who picked her up, and when she didn't yet know she was in mortal danger, the car made a quick stop to fuel up at a station. She went to the bathroom to freshen up. In her own words, when she was washing at the sink, a strange feeling came over her - and she heard a voice, a very clear, but firm, voice, speaking to her from nowhere, and it said: "climb out of the window now, run away, and never look back".
Those words stayed with for her for a long time. A very long time. Becaue she did not heed the voice, thinking it her imagination. She got back in the car, and went on to spend the next seven years as a sex slave, and living up to 23 hours a day in small wooden box. My god...if only she's taken that advice!
