What has happened to NEWSBLOK.COM ?

friends, do any of you know Newsblok.com? i have gone there for years, a hosting page for 100 great alt news sites.

i have noticed its gone for about a month now. anyone know what happened?

I've never heard of it before, but some quick searching found this mirror link - http://www.newsblok.net/

Saw a topic on the site's 'disappearance' here (https://www.conspiracyoutpost.com/topic/21964-newsblok-is-missing/?page=2), with one forum user messaging the site's admin



I have an answer for the Newsblok thread - after it went down for a week or so (where it would open and nothing would load) I searched down to the end of the page and found an email for the web administrator and sent him an email asking what was going on. Apparently, that time, Google had changed some of their protocols, so he had to redo the entire page. And, it was better than ever when it came up, new aggregates, etc, for about 4-5 days. Then, the 404 error.

When I checked my gmail yesterday, ****** said he didn't know what was going on yet and was trying to contact Google to find out. He also said that there is a 'mirror site' - newsblok.net. I just checked it this morning and it was UP. He mentioned that (unfortunately) this site does go down from time to time, too.

Not sure what's up with the site, but, try entering: www.newsblok.net (http://www.newsblok.net) in your URL box (that's without the http:// header).
