US President Donald Trump has accused his predecessor of wire-tapping his phone
a month before he was elected.

President Trump tweeted early on Saturday: "Terrible! Just found out that Obama
had my "wires tapped" in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This
is McCarthyism!"

He went on to say that a court had earlier denied a wiretap request.

The US president has given no details to back up the claim - or suggested which
court order he was referring to.Media reports in the last few weeks have suggested
the FBI had sought a warrant from the foreign intelligence surveillance court (Fisa)
last summer in order to monitor members of the Trump team suspected of irregular
contacts with Russian officials.


The warrant was first turned down but then approved in October, according to the
media reports.There has been no official confirmation and it is also not clear if this
evolved into a full investigation.US President Donald Trump has accused his

make the explosive charge that officials from the Obama administration had
secretly listened to conversations between then-Senator Jeff Sessions and Russian
Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, in the senator’s office.

“They did spend time listening to conversations between then-Sneator Jeff Session
and the ambassador to Russia while he was in his U.S. Senate office,” Lewandowski
told Judge Jeanine Pirro. “If that were to take place, which supposedly did take
place, what other conversations did they listen in on from the American public?”

A visibly stunned Pirro said she was unaware of any such activity from the Obama
administration, but Lewandowski pressed on.

“They were monitoring [who] a United States Senator was having a private
conversation with, is what I understand, and if that is the case it is very
concerning,” said Lewandowski. “Is it possible that that previous administration was
listening to the conversations that took place in Trump Tower from their political
opponents. If that is the case, and what Donald Trump alludes to is accurate, then
that’s very, very disturbing for our future going forward.”

On Twitter, Friday, the president suggested that official of the Obama

told officials at the Department of Justice that he wants them to reject President Donald
Trump’s claims that former President Obama had Trump’s phones and servers tapped
during the 2016 election. But the DOJ may have no one to help clear up the matter.

In a move that Trump will no doubt see as a betrayal, Comey contended Sunday that
Trump’s allegations are false, and that the FBI did not violate the law – or Donald Trump’s privacy.

But Comey can’t speak for the DOJ, and with Attorney General Jeff Sessions recusing himself
on matters involving Russia, there’s no one to answer his request. This has led to even more
confusion over whether the Trump campaign’s telephones and servers were watched during
the Presidential campaign for evidence that Russia was trying to interfere in the American elections.

For Comey, it’s an interesting turn of events. Last week, Democrats on the House Intelligence
Committee were accusing Comey of covering up for Donald Trump, and withholding critical

The CIA has not said if the claims are true

Wikileaks has published details of what it says are wide-ranging hacking tools used by the CIA.

The alleged cyber-weapons are said to include malware that targets Windows,
Android, iOS, OSX and Linux computers as well as internet routers.Some of the
software is reported to have been developed in-house, but the UK's MI5 agency is
said to have helped build a spyware attack for Samsung TVs.A spokesman for the
CIA would not confirm the details.

"We do not comment on the authenticity or content of purported intelligence
documents," he said.

Thanks its about time the left got back on track , and realised the deep state is
anti democracy and has been manipulating all political spectrum. This is what

Totally agree. Am reading Chris Hedges' Death of the Liberal Class right now and he makes a very strong argument about how the "left" was co-opted by the corporate agenda and how most don't even realize it, even when it's staring them in the face. The claim that GCHQ carried out surveillance on Donald Trump during the election
campaign is "arrant nonsense", Rick Ledgett, the number two at the US National
Security Agency (NSA) has told the BBC in an exclusive interview.A commentator
on Fox News had claimed that GCHQ had carried out the activity on America's
behalf, but Mr Ledgett said the claim showed "a complete lack of understanding
in how the relationship works".

Each side, he said, was prohibited from asking the other partner to carry out acts
that they were prohibited from doing. He also said the huge risks to the UK in
carrying out such an act would completely outweigh any benefits.

"Of course they wouldn't do it. It would be epically stupid," he told me.

GCHQ had also dismissed the allegation as nonsense.

For the record, Trump admin officials stated that this is fake news, and Trump himself said during the press conference with Merkel that they weren't going to apologize or retract anything that Spicer said because he was simply relating what Judge Napolitano was told by intel sources.

Fox News' Shep Smith (who is a psychopath with a history of violence, including trying to run a woman over intentionally in Florida) "retracted" Napolitano's statement, but Napolitano himself hasn't as far as I can tell.

So the MSM is trying to walk back Napolitano's claims, not Napolitano himself, and Trump's administration isn't walking anything back either.

I personally think that it's extremely arrogant for the British administration to get even trying to get "assurances" from the US administration not to say particular things. Early days yet , not sure about Fridays info possibly to early to use ? I do like the
fact Trey Gowdy is on the panel he is bright and sharpe and will not let Trump be

The “Access Hollywood” tape that nearly derailed Donald Trump’s 2016
presidential campaign and got host Billy Bush fired was leaked by the
“Today” show staff, according to a New York Post report and Breitbart.
A source told the paper that the leak was planned by NBC News with
the intent to hurt Trump.

According to the Page Six story:

The infamous “Access Hollywood” tape — in which President Donald
Trump bragged about grabbing women by the hoo-ha — was an inside
job, leaked by an NBC News staffer on Billy Bush’s own “Today” show,
multiple sources tell Page Six.

“The tape was leaked by the NBC News division, by somebody at the
‘Today’ show,” says one source. “NBC News knew for a while about
the existence of the tape. Billy himself had told them about it. People
in the news division became frustrated that ‘Access Hollywood’ was
taking too long to air it and decided it had to come out.”

“Access” had been working on airing a sanitized version of the tape,
which revealed Trump’s comments but protected Bush by editing out
his. But the full tape, which was leaked to the Washington Post,
featured Bush goading the president. The leak got Bush fired from
“Today,” which was, according to the source, part of the plan.

“The leaked tape served a dual purpose: It helped get Bush out of
the way — Matt Lauer didn’t like him and felt he was a liability —
and NBC thought it would derail Trump,” says the source. “But all
it did was crush Billy, and, ironically, his own network was behind it.”

It's certainly quite clear to anyone who is paying attention that many of the people in power are far from perfect, and these days it seems more and more like most of them are contemptible.
I have no doubt at all that HRC is a monster--there's been too much proof to the contrary-- and I'm certainly not taking a side in the debate about Trump, but it concerns me that so many people are trying to portray him as such a wonderful, giving, heroic person.
Perhaps he is compared to the likes of HRC, but that's really, really not saying much.
Just like when Obama was being touted as the great new Deliverer, I fear that a letdown could be very demoralizing in time.
I don't think many great, heroic people go into politics anymore--it's far too dirty a game, and takes up far too much of our attention, imho.
But I am trying to keep an open mind about Trump that he is a fairly decent person who will do some good things--it's just that there is so much conflicting "evidence" and it's hard to know what to believe.
And it's very, very sad when Avalon members jump on other member just because they are asking questions, and are not even asking from a pro or con position.

The unmasked names, of people associated with Donald Trump, were then sent to all those at the National Security Council, some at the Defense Department, then-Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and then-CIA Director John Brennan – essentially, the officials at the top, including former Rice deputy Ben Rhodes.

The names were part of incidental electronic surveillance of candidate and President-elect Trump and people close to him, including family members, for up to a year before he took office.

The Real Deep State
In this exciting part 2 episode on Deep Politics, Dark Journalist, Daniel Liszt’s interview former Canadian diplomat, UC Berkeley professor and author, Peter Dale Scott. Scott coined the term “Deep State” and has been writing about it for 50 years. His works include ‘Deep Politics and the Death of JFK’, ‘The Road to 9/11’ and ‘American War Machine’. His latest book, ‘The American Deep State’ studies the unelected, unaccountable, shadow government of the US.

Professor Scott explains how the Mainstream Media is conducting a disinformation campaign to try to minimize his concept of the Deep State by characterizing it as a ‘conspiracy' and denying his in-depth research on what he has described as a covert political system. According to Scott this system exists as a coalescence of interests that include private contractors for US intelligence agencies, media conglomerates, Wall Street forces and Big Oil funding, which work together to manufacture “Deep Events”, such as 9/11, the JFK assassination and their subsequent coverups, for motives of profit and control.

The Deep State and President Trump
The Deep State has looked at Trump with a weary eye since he becomes the Republican Nominee and have fought both his upset election and his smooth transition to the Presidency. This concerted effort has included unsubstantiated leaks about Trump’s personal life and conduct, damaging information about his high profile aides, and the concoction of bizarre narrative picked up by the media that President Trump is somehow in ‘collusion' with Russia and its leader President Putin, even though they have provided zero evidence to support the wild accusation.

The CIA & Cold War II
Professor Scott opines that the real reason behind the Deep State’s efforts to bring down the Trump Administration may have to do with their deep desire, which became visible during the Obama Administration, to heat up a new Cold War II to ramp up some profits for the War Machine. He describes a program developed under Obama to ‘modernize’ America’s Nuclear Forces to the tune of One Trillion Dollars. This type of inflated budget will have a hard time being allocated without a Nuclear enemy in sight so these covert forces are busy developing an entire anti-Russia campaign with help from the media. He sees it as a dangerous game and makes the observation that since the time that President Kennedy resolved the Cuban Missile Crisis peacefully, there have been forces inside the Deep State that are willing to recklessly bring the world to the brink of Nuclear War!


Strange Patterns in Deep Events 9/11 and the JFK Assassination
In Professor Scott’s terminology, a ‘Deep Event’ like 9/11 is sometimes initiated by the Deep State to make a dramatic impact on public and foreign policy. Strange movements and price fluctuations of stocks and financial concerns prior to Deep Events like 9/11 and the JFK Assassination suggest foreknowledge by powerful covert groups of the impending historical tragedies to come. These patterns suggest that the hidden groups are interested in making a huge profit while initiating foreign wars and changing the very face of American society with an agenda that has not been voted upon or debated in any public forum.

The major changes put in place after 9/11 have given us warrantless detention and a state of emergency that has been renewed under every president since George W. Bush. This state of emergency puts an army division on American soil for the first time under Joint Special Operations Command to quell domestic unrest should it arise. This subverts the laws relating to Posse Comitatus in the United States that explicitly state that federal personnel shall not be used to enforce domestic policies. Professor Scott sees this as a great breach of Constitutional Authority and believes that a campaign should be waged that removes the State of Emergency now in place.
