59 Tomahawk missiles where recently fired at Shayrat airfield in the Homs province in Syria. The cost of such an exercise $1.59 million dollars per missile, that is around $94 million dollars. Yet Assad is still in power and still attacking his opponents. Assad was once a friend of the west when it suited them, now it is a game of chess between Assad and Russia verses the wests indecisiveness of what action should be taken.

The cost of war is an continuing and seemly never ending problem. It is always those that are not responsible who seem to be the focus of suffering, not those that start the wars or continue it.

Did you believe Russia, the US and the Syrian Government as a whole were working together?

good observation

I am calling for a reality check: as long as our planet endorses commerce, death and destruction of Nature will remain monetized and continue to cause psychopathy in humans.

this is the major flaw embedded in any monetary theory. Money just makes problems and conflicts more profitable and thus strengthens control over populations... Humanity will have to end monetarism at some point

They never have money for feeding the hungry or healthcare, or roads and schools but, I have never seen a fundraiser, penny tax increase , bond issue or call for donations to purchase tomahawks or buy fuel for destoyers and aircraft carriers... they seem to always have money for war...

the real problem is that arm dealers are making weapons that are beyond our imagination. Obama promised to pour 12 billion into AI weaponry last year

money just concentrates power in the hands of a few and the only way to go around that is to go money-free
