President Trump To Commander Peggy Whitson "What An Amazing Cheat Erm Thing That You Have Done"
Published 24th April 2017
From the Oval Office at the White House, President Trump called Expedition 51 Commander Peggy Whitson & Flight Engineer Jack Fischer of NASA on April 24th to offer congratulations to Whitson on the day she broke the record for most cumulative days on orbit by a U.S. astronaut. BUT @ 17:50 President Trump has a fit of parapraxis and says to Peggy "What An Amazing Cheat Erm Thing That You have Done"
Look out for Ivanka's double take!

Hey Norman thanks for your opinion what has brought you to this conclusion?

It sounds like the word but with the first bit missing and then an abrupt stop as he switched to another way of saying it. I don't know why he did that. Perhaps he knew he didn't want to use the word achievement, or perhaps because he'd uttered it wrong ( missing the beginning ) he preferred switching to another way to say it than going back to correct his lazy pronunciation. He had notes or a script on the table in front of him so it could be a reading glitch or a word someone else wrote that didn't quite suit his own mind.
I found the look on the astronaut's face ( sitting beside him) while he mentioned the military a little more interesting.

I think he tried to say achievement and messed up so he rambled on. No biggy

"What an amazing feat you have accomplished." fits best, I think.
But the neural pathways in his brain are too deeply grooved by his subconscious obsessions, is my call.

Perhaps he knew he didn't want to use the word achievement,
That doesn't really fit with the pattern of his public speaking vocabulary... so I think you are correct ;)

Take zero moral fiber, mix in cognitive decline, add a pinch of WTF and Voila! You have a recipe for Freudian slips. More important are the many 180 turns he takes and his general gangster style delivery.

I listened to a third of the vid, don't have time for the entire thing. But the overall event/presentation is upbeat, proud, respectful... He's usually a good ad-libber but he must have been given this presentation at the last moment for him to be reading the notes in front of us. Nevertheless I got the vibe he was proud of our astronauts...

If he was from Texas that would have never happen because the word achievement is a complete sentence....
