HOPI’S ENCOUNTER WITH MAASAW:
THE SKELETON MAN AND HIS GIFT OF SACRED KNOWLEDGE
The Hopi Indians’ encounter with Maasaw was very emotional and frightening.
His physical appearance was so horrifying that many of the Hopi Indians ran. Some of the Hopi had the courage to stay because they had been looking for him for such a long time. They wanted to listen to Maasaw and receive spiritual wisdom. The remarkable encounter with Maasaw is one of the reasons why the Hopi are today considered keepers of sacred knowledge.

I believe the way out of our mess is to become in greater harmony with Mother Earth. The next generation needs to strive to be more independent, more in tune with nature. When working the land one is forced to be humble. We may be able to keep some tech that supports our independence, and our being in touch with others and the cosmos, but our true path is through Mother Earth, with her, and with the eternal flow of light and love. Peace be with the Hopi, and is our hope too
Now that there is unemployment over the earth we must retake the land from "The Governments." It belongs to the people of the earth to work it, grow food and live in peace. Note the progression of events which has brought us into cities and postage stamp house spots where there is no room to plant a fruit tree or food. This was meant to enslave us. We would have to work for them and their corporations which they now own completely and now are inventing Robots to work for them. Will Robots buy their products? So what do you think they intend to do with us? Round us up into their STADIUM prisons to starve as they did to the people of New Orleans? People must take back the land and grow their own food in communities. We must make Monsanto very very warm.
Thanks for the article Skywizard. The Hopi call themselves ones who live in the right way, in a direct and easy way to understand. It is not complicated when we look at the basis of honesty but it also takes the constant attention to daily living with integrity, nourished by living at one with the lives above ground. It is in some distinct ways very different from surrounding tribal lifestyles.
I don't know if The Legend of the Pahana is on Avalon, but it is a very interesting and currently relevant part of the Hopi. If it isn't here then I would appreciate it if it too was posted, for those who would research it's narrative. Frank Waters, who spent much time with the Hopi, wrote an adjunct book, after writing his seminal treatise in The Book of Hopi, detailing the story and prophecy. When the disturbing and seemingly uncharacteristic actions of the Hopi are revealed to the researcher, it is then you have found the true history of the narrative.
However, as in most true narratives, there have been many who would distract and obfuscate, claiming it to be their own. It is why so many stories and primary truths are hidden in this long and short time of awakening.
