They're trying to re-brand the Muslim veil as an emblem of feminism. It isn't.

Yep!
Another one of "their" experiment... see this post (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?94832-Flat-Earth-Psychological-Operations&p=1152716&viewfull=1#post1152716) (<---)

Since the sixties we have been inundated with 'mixed race' promotions.
Almost to the point of annihilating anyone's culture, values, history.

Can't copy all from ipad, just the link, but this 'melting pot' song resonated with me since my late teens. I was aware of the subtle changes whilst I moved around the world for work.
Initially, there were distinct areas of races, now it really is just a 'melting pot', not necessarily a bad thing, but neutralising distinct cultures. However, now disturbingly, media bias thrust upon us to exclude our own history, culture, values under the auspices of 'political correctness' BS 😡

it's too difficult to advertise to all these pesky different cultures... it will be so much easier to advertise to just one nice even (extremely predictable) group of people...
Just think of the profits!

Take a pinch of white man
Wrap it up in black skin
Add a touch of blue blood
And a little bitty bit of Red Indian boy
Curly Latin kinkies
Mixed with yellow Chinkees
If you lump it all together
Well, you got a recipe for a get along scene
Oh, what a beautiful dream
If it could only come true, you know, you know
What we need is a great big melting pot
Big enough to take the world and all it's got
And keep it stirring for a hundred years or more
And turn out coffee colored people by the score
Rabbis and the Friars
Vishnus and the Gurus
You got the Beatles or the Sun God, it's true
Well, it really doesn't matter what religion you choose
No, no no
Making Lady Favor
Mrs. Graceful
You know that livin' could be tasteful
We should all get together in a lovin' machine
I better call up the Queen
It's only fair that she knows, you know, you know
What we need is a great big melting pot
Big enough to take the world and all it's got
And keep it stirring for a hundred years or more
And turn out coffee colored people by the score
What we need, what we need is a great big melting pot
Big enough, big enough, big enough
To take the world and all it's got
And keep it stirring for a hundred years or more
And turn out coffee colored people by the score
What we need is a great big melting pot

I wonder what a sense of "white history" even means when the average American has tested out as having an 8 second attention span. Gold fish have a 9 second attention span.

I don’t have much to say about ‘white history’ but I know something about the 8 seconds goldfish. I’m one of them. It depends on what’s important in the moment. And it’s not uncommon for those moments to stretch out to 8 hours on most days.
I’ve had the pleasure to spend months with many, many 8 seconds goldfish. They’re some of my favorite people. Once I discovered they just needed a bigger pond and got out of the way there was no stopping them. Some goldies have gone on to create their own oceans.
Lots of 8 seconds goldfish process it in 8 seconds flat. Some 8 seconds goldfish just need to see that we believe in them in those seconds when they don’t.
Oops, gotta fly… 8 seconds are up.

I recently visited people in the UAE, Jordan, Oman, and Egypt. The clothing worn by both men and women in these countries varied considerably, but the people were all warm and friendly. The children were delightful. One should not get too caught up in the negatives.

may be you should have visited the families themselves, and ask a western woman to speak intelligently to a jordanian man about anything and look at the reaction of the man: the woman would have been a puff of air, no consideration whatsoever, as if nothing was there. Or a UAE man. Egyptians are different, woman do have some place.
And I do not think women were allowed to speak to you directly in Jordan or UAE, without their male supervisor.
Yes, people are warm and nice when you travel for business, as a man, and the children are usually delightful all over the world (if not caught in wars)
Telling us that wearing a hijab is liberation of women is just a pure lie. If it were so liberating, why wouldn't men wear it? And something to cover their face too while we are at it and a chaperon too.
Please note: the counterpart, having to dress like a Kardashian (Gardeàchien pour les francophones) is not liberating either.

I was moved almost to tears by a very young couple from the Middle East recently; they were looking at jewellery for her mother. They mentioned they were on their honeymoon, & were so happy that they could hold hands openly.
Yet it was the man who did most of the talking, even though the the wife spoke better English. He shook my hand as they left, but when I held out my hand to the wife, she glanced timidly at her husband for permission to shake hands with me. :( What a sad situation.
