Richard went as far as he was willing to go...and I sensed he may have wanted to go a little further. I wish he would have. I think he's just too nice of a guy at the end of the day.

You can really sense the conflict within him as he's discussing this Corey stuff, and I sympathize with it on the one hand. He says he doesnt want to go to war with people. I get it; wars take energy...energy that could be spent on research or writing or whathaveyou. But the thing is, the war has already started. And it will find its way to his front door whether he wants to fight it or not. Besides, the second you tell someone "youre lying", the personal war has already begun. There's no diplomatic way of telling someone theyre full of sh!t. He attempts to do this by saying we have to separate ideas from people, that ideas are fair game but people arent etc. But Richard isnt stupid...I think he knows in this instance that the person and the ideas are too inextricably linked to make any kind of differentiation.

Anyway, Corey is just one "soldier" in this "war". And he's already made it more than personal by sh!tting all over the alt community and deligitimizing everything good researchers like Dolan stand for. The war has begun. Its personal. Fight or risk being trampled...thats how I see it. Fence sitting isnt dignified, nor does it represent the high road....it represents a slow and passive surrender to this insidious and apparently satanic (see: dark journalist) infiltration into the alt community that will inevitably render it completely irrelevant.

I really like Richard Dolan. I have huge admiration and respect for him. But I think he's underestimating the scope of this thing

Tell him I'm listening carefully. Please thank him for his very kind words! And tell him I totally agree about the personality thing. Kudos, and I'm right with him.

But that it's about MORE than critiquing individually presented claims: there's a high-level campaign here, and we have to be thinking about this from the point of view of an enemy general wanting to lay waste to the community: not a maverick individual who's decided on his OWN to lay waste to it.

It's likely to be being orchestrated and planned. And if it is, we're going to be crushed underfoot as a research community unless we get smart and aware quite quickly. The good researchers are in danger of being marginalized.

I totally know what Richard means, and utterly admire and respect it, but when we're merely critiquing individual claims, we are ALSO ONLY focusing on individuals — just in a different way.

I agree, it is war. I agree with Richard Dolan, it's the agenda behind any one personal face that we need to see. I think Richard is fully aware of what he is saying, and the potential consequences. Too many people have died leading up to this point for Richard to not know.

It's the canary in the coal mine. It's the man with shopping bags in hand facing the tanks in Tiananmen Square, and then we become aware, it's started. One shot fired at Fort Sumter, the American civil war has begun though most don't know it yet.

It is a terrible position to be in, a dead man walking you might say. I fear for his welfare. I love his gallant respect for truth.

Corey Goode sold his soul for money, and he is a poor thing. If and when all out visible war is waged on the truth, his name may also become a byword, like the word, quisling.

It is so natural to hear Richard Dolan go off on the b.s. in the media as it is the same department, most likely the same division and even the same break room, coffee room, that propagates the lies behind the fake CG, SSP stories and other covert, worldwide "serious" political stories involving the manipulation of public opinion.

I HIGHLY suggest listening to Richard's entire audio, the 1hr.42:54min. recording listed in Bill's post #12 above. I have known these details for years and have had to greatly shorten the details whenever the subject of american morality is brought up, and I live in the states. I usually bring up Marine Major General Smedly Butler's book "War Is A Racket", about how this 2 time Medal of Honor winner was tired of "killing people for the United Fruit Company", detailing the worldwide murder of endless numbers of sovereign citizens in foreign countries, all for profit and control.

Listen and remember the details as he easily recalls how the u.s. is unparalleled in the history of manipulations of elections and political extortions. Include the School of the Americas, now renamed, where the u.s. trained,trains central and south american soldiers to torture and kill any opposition to u.s. and global corporate interests.

I too laughed at the idea, brought up by the mass media that russia was in any way involved in the u.s. elections. The fact that the fake narrative still continues to this day shows the amount of money available to all concerned in propagating the fantasy of russian involvement in the u.s. In fact I'd ask the clintons about any money made from doing favors for russian interests long before I'd grill the present president's son-in-law.

Realizing this is late in the day to say anything, I still feel it's important enough to state the obvious: there is no way anyone in the 21st century can think to defend such ignorant and truly hateful language against entire groups of people. I would have thought we would be beyond such infantile sentiments by now. MUFON must never again allow itself to be stained with such idiocy. Good grief, here we are, interested in the possibility of alien life, and yet some people in the community are still segregating humans by color and race. Jan Harzan did the right thing in firing Ventre.

Having listened to this podcast with much interest, I must say that Richard Dolan's "secular sermon" was beyond inspirational for me. I echo your sentiments that all Avalon members should take time to listen and try to incorporate Richard's ideas about how we should conduct ourselves in our dealings with one another. Not only here at PA, but in our everyday lives.

This ideology is key to changing the world for the better. If only people can get past petty differences and realize our behavior and a commitment to truth wherever it resides is the key to peace and understanding.

I know that you were partly joking about making this mandatory listening for membership, but I think a transcript of the pertinent elements of this podcast would fit nicely as a tenet for PA membership and should be acknowledged as such by all current and future members of PA.

This is one of the best shows I've heard in ages and I'm going to share this with friends who aren't on the forum. I can't stress strongly enough how much of a 'snow-job' this crazy patsification (if you like) of Russia is: it's ridiculous.

How can you partner with a group that pushes such garbage. The next day they announced through JC's show that they had more mummies on the way.

Richard wants to be buds with everyone. I get that. However, I don't have to be. I don't see the SSP farce going away if we just play nice and go away.

Perhaps it's too late. I heard nothing in this show that describes the actual exchanges between Richard, CG and Bassagio. Perhaps I missed it.

I make no money from the work I do. I never will. I've accepted that and continue to move forward for the sake of knowledge and my belief system. Can CG and the others just be nice and do the same? If money was taken out of the equation, would these folks still be blowing the whistle???

Me too. This is terrific material and presented so honestly and fairly. Here is what I wrote to some friends earlier whilst also sharing the July show with them (and Richard is a far better person than I in this field, trust me!). Just about every comment he makes feels plucked out of my brain - it's scary, in a good way :dancing:

Anyway, here it is:

"Every now and again an individual appears in my virtual orbit who not only concurs with my findings through independent thought, pattern recognition and dot joining - otherwise known as it's so flippin' obvious why hasn't anybody else figured it out? - but does it in such an entirely reasonable and objective way that it becomes practically impossible to disagree. 

Richard Dolan is this person, and to a large extent has probably downloaded my entire brain, from somewhere, somehow. and I'd encourage you to play this and maybe even share it with as many people as possible."

I understand what you are saying but I also can place myself in Richard's shoes... shoes which have walked a path for decades. And that path (like all our paths) experiences entanglements and each entanglement can be complex, especially as groups form from the various entanglements.

One thing I can understand is that a lifestyle develops and that lifestyle creates a dependency on an income stream and an income stream often depends on maintaining relationships. Even if that lifestyle is essentially all and only dedicated to one's work... there are still practical costs associated to maintain all this.

Another thing I can understand is maintaining relationships that assist in the gathering of information where, in some cases, these relationships have their own entanglements with... for example, a someone like a Corey. And so one may feel compelled to compromise a bit in order to maintain sources that have led to (in the past) and thus may lead to (in the future) information you might feel comfortable in following and using.

What I observed from Richard Dolan is that he has walked a true tightrope and done an excellent job in so doing.

The only thing that I can imagine a guy like Richard Dolan doing is to be part of an organized breakaway group of what he might view as legitimate researchers and try and form their own presence which could generate the needed income stream almost all these folks require to be able to continue this type of work. That surely would cause some initial financial strains and perhaps the effort could fail. Thus I respect whatever Richard Dolan does in this regard and I do not see him in a less positive light regardless of how he handles all this moving forward.

Hey Jesse I hear you brother! Sam's counterpoints were also articulated very well.

In a way it's kind of a catch 22. I admire and respect the fact that you do all this for free (Jesse). That's f#ckin awesome! It shows your love for the game and it's reflected in all the cool shows you do with Angel. But surely you have an income stream coming from some other type of work you do in your life. It allows you to have your show, right? With Richard, he does this for a living, and as a walking ambassador for sanity in ufology, I'm glad he is able to dedicate the bulk of his time and energy to it. But it's $ that makes this possible. The time he puts into it leaves no time for anything else, like a standard 9-5 type gig. I think he needs to exploit opportunities whenever they arise.

So aside from paying the bills, the $ he makes with gaia allows him to do other meaningful things within the field of ufology. ..Just like our jobs(that most of us hate) allow us to do the hobbies we like. It's a delicate balance and can really be argued both ways, with equal validity.

For example, to a man, If someone arrived on my doorstep tomorrow and offered me a lucrative job as a pharmaceutical rep or something similar, I would have a really difficult time turning that down. I know some people likely find that horrifying, and I get that. I'd like to think i'd say no, but honestly I'm not so sure. And you won't find too many more people out there that are as disdainful of the pharm cartels as me.

Plus, if we dig deep enough, almost any corporate entity has some skeletons in the closet. Viewed this way, we're all a bit guilty.

There are so few avenues if you want to make a living doing this stuff. Like if you were a young, up and coming journalist looking for work, and were talented (and maybe connected) enough, youre going to wind up at abc, cbs, fox cnn etc.....all dubiously moral at the deepest levels. Would you turn down the pile of cash and work the local high school sports scene for the hometown rag instead?

This isnt a perfect analogy by any means, but you get the point. It appears gaia is like the alt worlds nbc or cnn now....For better or worse(so far worse). There are only so many places for someone of the caliber of Dolan to go. This screwed up world often forces us to into "lesser of the evil" positions, and its a tough spot to be in.

Having said all that, if he quit working with gaia tomorrow I'd be thrilled:)

I think Richard is in a new relationship now, and perhaps that is why he is feeling "extra nice" at this time.
I think he may have been taking some Bodhisattivic action which may not seem to make logical sense, but if all goes well, it could have a very good effect.

I've seen Dolan in person, and he has a good heart, as well as a good mind.
I think he may be a step further ahead of the game (not just because he is clever, but in helping to keep the game clean) than some may suspect.


As much as I respect Dolan on so many levels, I can't understand how he is going to be able to stay "true" and work with Gaia. The two concepts just don't belong in the same sentence...

Being "nice" to one another is a great thing. I'm all for that, but I don't think that is going to help rid our subject of grandstanding frauds.

Just this week, we've seen the International congress of mummy studies condemn Jamie and the folks at Gaia for potentially being involved with desecration of sacred remains. How can you partner with a group that pushes such garbage. The next day they announced through JC's show that they had more mummies on the way.

Richard wants to be buds with everyone. I get that. However, I don't have to be. I don't see the SSP farce going away if we just play nice and go away.

Perhaps it's too late. I heard nothing in this show that describes the actual exchanges between Richard, CG and Bassagio. Perhaps I missed it.

I make no money from the work I do. I never will. I've accepted that and continue to move forward for the sake of knowledge and my belief system. Can CG and the others just be nice and do the same? If money was taken out of the equation, would these folks still be blowing the whistle???

It's very interesting indeed to listen to. Richard Dolan is one of the few people able to responsibly and knowledgeably interview Peter Levenda in this depth.

In my view (and I'd like to find a way to tell him this), Richard could/should have pushed Levenda much harder. Some of what he says makes one wonder if he (Levenda) really does know and understand UFO history.

Richard makes all his points well, exactly the same ones I would have, but at some times is almost apologetic. There are several points where he could have challenged Levenda that he was just plain incorrect and misjudging things (or people) — which I'd assert he was.

Of course, Richard wants to maintain his friendship with Levenda, and at the end of the show did make it clear (though subtly), to anyone paying attention, that he still holds his own, differing views.

I'm not impressed with Levenda here at all, though I greatly respect his whole body of work. He's articulate and detailed, but (in my view) does NOT make his case(s).

Tracey Garbutt earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and International Studies
at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. In 2016, she founded and served

On the average Canada is having an Unexplained incident that has been investigated by MUFON Canada occuring more than once a week. I like also they talk about shadow beings incidents and abduction incidents and how they overlap depending on the perspective of the experiencers. The camping ground ufo incident had multiple witnesses that was curious.

I like how Ryan looks at the data and seems an upright guy that makes me hope more Canadians will participate be it an investigator or witness in this program.

Dolan draws a line at incitement to violence – meaning physical violence presumably. Well actually the parents of the Sandy Hood victims have received death threats as well as all the hate mail and vilification in social media etc. Jones may not specifically incite violence but he certainly stirs up the atmosphere which encourages others to make such threats.

I am in no doubt that Sandy Hook happened and real children were killed. Now even a conspiracy nut must, if they have any intellectual integrity at all, admit that they could be wrong. And if they are wrong that means that people who suffered the worst kind of tragedy a parent can endure, must, on top of that cope with accusations, death threats and the whole cesspit of crazies obsessed with gun ownership. Is that not violence? I damn well think so. In some ways inflicting psychological torture is a worse kind of violence than sticks and stones. And who takes any responsibility? Not Jones, not your armchair conspiracy theorists, not the lowlifes on Facebook and Twitter expressing themselves in such vile language that there has to be something seriously wrong with them.

Are you being serious, or are you joking? If you're being serious, then you've just made the argument that anyone who stirs up an atmosphere to encourage others to engage in violence is responsible for the behavior of those that engage in the violence. Which means - again, only if you're being serious - if someone interprets the words in your post as a form of psychological torture, your speech should be censored because somebody might do something violent. That's fine. But not everyone 'has no doubt', and that's also fine. That's free speech, the right to disagree.

Alex Jones has every right to offer an opposing narrative to Sandy Hook if he has cause to do so. Whether one believes this story or that story is irrelevant. But it's his right, and everyone's right to speak up. For Sandy Hook, for 9/11, for Las Vegas or whatever.

Jones never advocated any violence. Nor did he incite violence, physical or otherwise. For aspersions made, in many instances, he's since apologised. I applaud that. If his narrative should happen to stir up the crazies, as Joe pointed out, that's not his fault is it.

When we fear to saying anything at all, in fear of what others may think/say/do, we literally are doomed as a species.

As far as I'm concerned, Alex Jones's instincts are spot on. He's probably going to be proved right about most of these incidents in the long run.


What this debacle is really all about is the missmatch between the mass mind control program and the perfectly legimate statements by people who question and challenge that program when they see things that don't fit the official program narrative.

One of the reasons the Supreme Court has, as of yet, decided that a “Hate Speech” Clause doesn’t exist in the First Amendment is precisely because the Justices recognize that they don’t want to grant the Government the authority to determine what is and is not Offensive Speech.

What Dolan is trying to get across is that while you may not like Alex Jones (and he may be completely wet about Sandy Hook as a False Flag ) when one grants large corporations the right to deplatform Jones based upon one’s opinion about what Jones may or may not have said about that massacre, one opens the door to other forms of censorship in this new electronic Public Square. Dolan’s point stands, and the battle to safeguard Free Speech and Individual Liberty is going to become one of the great fights of our times.

Just finished this episode (all caught up now). WOW!! Some fantastic Q&A here (as well as the main topic of double edged disclosure, though I thought he should have given some emphasis to the religious aspect of disclosure).

So....Richard intends to get out there and interview some of his colleagues over the next year. Recently he mentioned David Paulides set up for some time in October. In the above clip he confirms Joseph P. Farrell within the next few weeks. Setting the bar very high here...definitely looking forward to these interviews. Recently, a YT'er asked him about Graham Hancock, to which Richard replied that he'd love to talk to Graham and that he has long admired him and that they are friends. I really hope he manages to pull that off.

Next up...MIB's for which Richard brings up his recent interview with Nick Redfern (who, imo is the leading authoritarian on this subject....and Dolan shares this opinion). Some MIB's are human....some are not. From the few interviews that I have listened to with Nick over the years, it appears there are many different MIB entities which are not human.

Ultra-terrestrials....entities which are not from outer space (ie- a different planet).....but which are inter-dimensional or some other explanation.....and are they to be included in the overall up-to-date ET hypothesis? Good question!! Personally, I wasn't clued into the idea of inter-dimensionals until the last 10 years (when I stumbled upon the original Project Camelot). Up until then, I thought of ET's as only from space (ie-other planets).....but as Richard says there is a very strong degree of high strangeness going on here. I've long thought that inter-dimensionals were behind most of the Missing 411 abductions. When people refer to ET's....are inter-dimensional entities to be included with this terminology??

So Richard Dolan was offered the opportunity to publish the William Tomkins book (Selected By Extra Terrestrials) via RD Publishing (he currently has 10 authors who he is publishing for)....and Richard passed on it (emphatically) citing he didn't believe in it. Given how well the book has sold, he still says (emphatically) that he wanted nothing to do with it. He does back up Bob Lazar though (as he said..."Love you Stan...but you're wrong here"). An interview with Lazar would be interesting.

When asked about Dan Burisch, Richard appeared hesitant....as he said (and I agree)...he doesn't know what to make of Dan Burisch. He goes on to say that George Knapp strongly believes Burisch is a "faker".

Joseph Farrell put the Operation Highjump myth to bed in short order. No evidence of anything more than a downed plane and lost crew, and Richard added that the US sent 2 more expeditions ( military ) down there soon after. Is he referring to Corey Goode here as the person who said last June in Toronto that he could make his skin turn blue as a result of his DNA and then went on to do it during a video chat?? Interesting that Richard comments on not actually naming names but then goes on to say he will name names in the future but warns that it does tend to open up some battles. 6 months or so ago, I saw Richard and Corey both on the same panel at some sort of conference...and Richard took issue with Corey saying that his own testimony was not hard evidence for which Corey tried to defend himself but then Richard went on to virtually eviscerate him (it was quite intersting to watch them go back and forth). I know Bill (and Richard) have both denounced Corey Goode, for which I applaud. People should name names when calling BS.

I know this is off topic:

I know in the live chat which she controls she will only mention questions by '' members' I ask some good questions I think at times but she ignored mine and others who were not 'members'. Yes, there is no shame in asking for support for the work one does.'Joe from Carolina' does a good job on how he has set up his channel by using his amazon affiliates for products patron etc and he doesn't ignore people that are not 'members'. One should look at the RV channels whereas a lot of them are just plain 'e-beggers' with no real content. Did you know that one person in the RV channel world that really does a lot for RV living including maintenance, solar installation, innovations etc lives in his van and he makes around $10,000 a month because of the number a subscribers, commercials, patron, amazon affiliates etc. on his channel.

She needs to change her business model but she is getting Richard to produce more and be heard more so that is good, but Tracey is wrong on her approach using exclusivity so much to obtain information.

But it's a tricky and more complex issue, actually. And also, in total fairness, not easy to handle.

What may be happening is that the paid-up members seem to get priority access to Richard.

I've written three e-mails to Richard in the last several months, each containing detailed, referenced, and arguably potentially important research information. With most of it, I was sure it'd be of interest. He's fully aware of Avalon's value in research support, as we helped him a great deal when preparing for his MUFON panel last year when he stood firm against Corey Goode, Andy Basiago, et al. (And did a wonderful job of that, too.)

He replied to the most recent one, which I greatly appreciated. But I have no idea if he's even seen the others. The first one, the longest, I sent three times, and I still doubt he knows anything about it.

I've thought of joining richarddolanmembers.com simply to be able to communicate directly with him, but then again, I'm not going to do that: I'm not going to pay so that I can share information that's valuable for him. It's a bit of a problem, and surely not just for myself.

I absolutely understand the issue of being overwhelmed with messages. It happens to me, too, as some Avalon members really understand. But because there seems to be a priority filtering in place based on subscriptions, that's maybe not the very best way to deal with that.

There needs to be someone whose assigned job is to read through everything that's sent to him — surely a LOT of stuff — and then prioritize based on (a) content, and (b) who the sender is, maybe cross-referencing against a list provided by Richard of who he'd always like to hear from.

I'd suggest this to him, also, but then I don't know if he'd receive that. :)

Someone asked him a month ago about his thoughts on the moon....but Richard said he'd address it later because it would take too much time. I really hope he does address this subject (one which kinda fascinates me)....cuz I'd be curious to know his belief system where the moon is concerned. I think John Lear (and many others) are right...the moon is not natural and it was specifically moved into place (by who or when, I have no idea). I'd be interested in Richard's take on it though.

My "take" on RD...."Under New Management"!

Well put Foxie Loxie, I was trying to think of something like that without being too 'caustic'. But Richard Dolan is getting boring for me recently. Same goes for Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt. Almost 3 hour shows that are little more than waffling on and on and on. Especially after an hour. Both are easy on the ear and therefore often put me to sleep. Daniel is great and very interesting as a rule, his x series on steganography for example, but it is too long. Perhaps they are becoming jaded.

They would do well to realize we public only have so much youtube time to spend in our day to day lives and there is a lot of competition for it. Recently I decided if they don't get me drawn after 15 mins, I quit and click on something else.

The opposite end of that spectrum of being a soothing voice is Jimmy Church, who I gave up on quite a while ago. Loud waffling and bad interviewing and just being a boring blowhard is way worse.

Maybe us listeners having to sort the wheat from the chaff just goes with the territory. But 3 hour interviews of yourself (no guest) while staring at your object of desire is not a winning formula in my view. (Jimmy, in his case could just move or cover the mirror) Linda M Howe too, with her cats! Simon Parkes and his cats! (Toxoplasmosis?)

Being a recovering raving nutter myself, I can clearly see the early warning signs!

By comparison Bill Ryan, who never claimed to be a 'professional,' never turned into a blithering idiot when he got a new girlfriend, never put me to sleep, didn't waffle, despite the pleasant voice tone and timbre. (no I am not being a kiss a***) I still watch/listen to old Camelot material eg... Anglo Saxon Mission that I have heard many times before that has Bill talking. I do not do that with DL or RD.

Interestingly Alex Jones explained his own delivery style a few months ago and gave examples. I had to agree with him that if he tones it down, we are likely to fall asleep and/or not remember the very important info. Still, a notch or two lower would be better for my personal taste, but I get it, he wants to wake people up. That he does! Being censored at the moment is a badge of honour. So he must be doing something right.

Alex is different though, because he sets out to do a 3 hour show from the start, is syndicated radio and is not, 'i'll get on youtube and go until I've had enough' (but tell the audience 'we're almost out of time, but I'll take one more question' anyway)

I understand his position, and the potential value of maintaining it.

In my opinion, 'conspiracy theorist' is a Rubicon the whole human race has got to cross before we can turn ourselves around properly and fully, but we have to do it at a very high level of excellence, not as a reactionary and foolish rabble.

Holding back the horses to the line drawn by "the evidence" is, in my view, exactly what our intelligent adversary both wants and has programed into our intellect. It sounds right to stick to the evidence, doesn't it ?, but that then over rules intuition and any higher consciousness that may be involved and required to put us back in this, so far, one-sided struggle.

I really don't think anyone is "attacking" RD. Each one of us has learned & changed over the time of our own personal journey. Not one of us remains "static" or "in place", hopefully..... unable to make a change in our thinking or outlook. That's the point, isn't it....to learn & grow?

RD is on his own personal journey & we all owe him a big "Thank You" for his intense research through the years. He is at a different place in his own life now & I wish him all the happiness he can find in his current relationship.

I think it is important to grow to the point where one does not find it necessary to "follow" any other human being or feel one has to "defend" said "leader". That is what has been so special to me here on Avalon.....the mature members who accepted me where I was "at" & guided my search so I could find my own answers! :clapping:

An asteroid hurtling toward Earth sounds like a nightmare scenario - but a bunch of space scientists have hatched a plan to make it happen.

Why? Because capturing the space rocks could allow us to probe them for alien life and even mine them for valuable resources like precious metals.

In a new study, (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0094576518305782?via%3Dihub#!) researchers from the University of Glasgow reveal that aerobraking could help them pull off the insane stunt.

Aerobraking is a drag maneuver used by spacecraft like the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter to change their orbit or speed by using the atmosphere of a planet as a resistance that can pull them down for landing - with the rest left to gravity.

The authors claim that this process could be used to slow down small asteroids enough so that they don't just skim past Earth, but remain in orbit, where they could be mined for platinum or water, according to the journal Science. Those resources could then be blasted to the International Space Station to supply future missions.

Meanwhile water, they suggest, could be split into hydrogen and oxygen for fuel purposes.

The high-stakes method will only work on rocks less than 90 feet in diameter, claim the scientists, any larger and we may not be able to stop them from hitting Earth - a concern that other scientists have also pointed out.

The smaller asteroids, on the other hand, would burn up in our planet's atmosphere, mitigating the chance of an apocalyptic disaster.

But they admitted that extra care would be needed for a rock made up of denser materials like iron, which may not decompose entirely upon entry.

Fortunately, the entire feat would take place far from Earth and would involve an unmanned spacecraft applying enough force to an asteroid to put it on a path toward us.

This spacecraft could also follow the asteroid on its journey in case any sudden course-corrections are required.

They add that if done at a far enough distance, the gambit wouldn't even take much effort - as a small push from far away would effectively change the angle of an incoming rock

Each case could be drastically different, however, depending on the size and composition of the asteroid.

That's why they've identified an ideal test subject: the asteroid 2005 VL1. They claim that this space rock is just the right size for such a mission and has the right speed to be redirected.

Whether any space agency in its right mind will take up the task is an entirely different matter.

yep. also, if you say her name 3 times while facing a mirror, her apparition will appear and stare at you blankly with this weird inscrutable half smile.

not sure if you guys caught this: after richard was equating corey's message with new age pandering, jimmy came out of the break by telling this story about how no one at this party of new-agers he went to had ever heard of coast to coast. he kept at it for a couple mins, and was basically coyly defending corey by trying to illustrate that the new age and ufo communities were not the same etc etc. i think he just made that up, honestly.

he's always misdirecting. this is just one example. there's quite a few of them.

A few thoughts on the Richard Dolan SSP Fiasco feed from last night with Jimmy Church. I meant to type this up last night after the live stream while it was still fresh in my head, but it was almost 1am (EST) and I needed sleep.

First off....there were a LOT of people taking in the festivities from Joseph Farrell to Dark Journalist to Joe From The Carolinas (I noticed Joe has a wee bit of a posse...LOL...all kinds of folks saying hello to him in the chat which was nice to see). It was truly electric last night from start (even before it started) right through to the end. It was THE place to be and I'm glad I was there live.

Had to laugh when Tracy said "I feel I should be standing behind you and massaging your shoulders"....like a scene out of Rocky.

Jimmy's intro is rather long and self indulged. C'est la vie.

Right out of the gate, Richard pounced and pounced HARD on the likes of CG. I was pleasantly surprised as I wasn't expecting him to go this hard (and this early).....but there was no mercy shown. Richard stood up for everyone in the UFO community to say "ENOUGH!!!" I was literally sitting on my sofa and doing fist pumps as I watched.

Jimmy tried to save face multiple times (when he could get a word in edgewise, cuz Richard was going full bore...lol). Every time Jimmy chimed in with something to level the playing field, Richard stood firm and put him in his place very quickly. Laughed hard when Jimmy asked if Richard would like to TM breakaway civilization and Richard promptly said no and explained why. Richard maintained his cool very well and had a quick retort for everything Jimmy tried to offer in terms of fairness to CG, Richard would have none of it.

I especially liked how Richard brought up Bill Ryan and Project Avalon explaining how CG had an account here and virtually data-mined PA for 4 years before suddenly remembering that he himself was part of the SSP (uh huh....sure you were, Corey). That right there showed the absurdity of the situation these past few years.

Very cool to see Richard and Tracey talking among themselves during the commercial breaks. You could tell Tracey wanted Richard to not let up on the gas pedal....telling him to steer Jimmy back on track to CG instead of him wandering off the path with New Age, Bob Lazar, and other topics (which was a deflection tactic of Jimmy, imo, cuz he knew he was beat).

Ultimately, Richard said (afterwards) that he thinks Jimmy is coming around on CG and may be starting to realize he's full of crap. I'm not so sure that's the case, as I suspect Jimmy will continue his backing of CG (and continue to sit on the fence when questioned about it).

I hope others in the UFO field stand up publicly with this kind of furor to call out CG. It was a breath of fresh air to see this go down live last night. I had a great time and I was happy watch it happen.

It goes without saying that RD has tackled both subjects quite a lot and I know many of us here are thankful for his voice and thinking on a whole range of topics.

Without going into too many details from the RD members' site (which is currently going through a major overhaul and upgrade), I think it would be great to encourage some people that are fans of his work- if you really like some particular videos and you have a little extra time while you're watching, it might be of great service to folks later on if you download a few of them for safekeeping in the days ahead, so that more backups of this work exists, just in case (especially the livestreams). But lets say there is a ship made by humans on mars that comes to earth. It would be not from earth but made by humans hands.
