Isn't it? I said maybe USGS was having their Christmas Party at the time. LOL!
Couldn't it be kind of suspicious though? After all, it IS a reminder that USGS is run by the gov...And that they can show us or hide from us anything they want, anytime they want!
Hmmn?

If it was at about 550miles or so, north east of HI, then that would put it right on top of the Becker-Hagens UVG16 marker, which is a major earth energy grid point.
Which is the core thing about the whole Gulf of Aden thing. it's a grid point.
get Google earth, and the Becker hagens add on *.kmz file for a the Becker-Hagens grid overly on Google earth. It's at vortex maps, I think.
Some of the recent earthquakes might turn out to be interesting when placed on that map and overlay.

It's a little hard to tell, but here it is on the map I posted as soon as I seen it posted on the USGS Thread.

Notice that the times listed are close enough to correlate:

Wish I could remember where I read it, but some European organization recently accused the USGS of manipulating data to downplay the magnitude and number of EQs occurring around the world.
Is there anyone who's not lying or manipulating data to mislead the public anymore? It's really hard to know what to believe when we're constantly faced with false information...
