View Full Version : What is your top 10?

Hi, I'm trying to make some changes in my life and I'm overwhelmed by the amount of information and different things people do for physical and spiritual health. I just watched some startling videos about turpentine and structured water and iodine.

What are your top 10 things you recommend for the average person to do/take or stop doing/taking.

(I say 10 because when I look at the thousands of things people say are good for you I'd spend my entire day taking different stuff... I got a family to take care of)

Having spent a fortune on various things over many years the only thing I would swear by is making colloidal silver to stop getting ill, I only take it if & when I've been in close proximity to someone with cold / flu, never had any illness in all the years I've been doing it.

As for everything else the mind & body seem to "self right" when whatever is putting it at "dis-ease" is removed or stopped, my own experience is that nearly if not everything has an ontological source.

One other thing, most things work as much as you believe they will, which says a lot for how we function. (ie placebo effect)

If you have not already, I highly recommend disconnecting from mainstream news websites, newspapers, and magazines; mainstream radio; and the big social media websites. Removing myself from those negative information streams has made a big difference in my life -- more peace, far less "monkey mind," and just overall becoming more attuned with the spiritual me. This, in fact, would be my number-one suggestion to anyone asking the question you have asked.

I would first of all totally agree with LadyM. After I stopped watching, listening and getting bothered by mainstream media I can actually feel things again on an emotional level.
It feels like all that media bashing you in the head with drama war and negativity stops your brain from working right. It makes us insensitive which is a problem.

Healthwise I would suggest looking into fermenting foods. Sauerkraut and especially Kimchi is great stuff. You have to take it easy with fermented food if you are not accustomed to fermented foods though. Small portions at a time is my advice.

As LadyM says, disconnect from most news sources. Most all info from them is marketing and advertising or worse, blatant lies and misinformation. Find a few reputable sources. I really like Mercola.com and NaturalNews.com. Mercola for health and nutrition. NaturalNews for the politics of health, plus some good nutrition info.

My top things for good health are:

1. Stop eating processed fats. This may be the most important thing we can do. Fats are critical in development of cell membranes, which are the brains of your cells. Without the proper raw, unprocessed fatty acids you are on the path to degenerative disease. The brain craves fat and cholesterol. Fats are ruined, turned completely rancid by heat. All vegetable oils and lots of olive oil are rancid the day you buy them at the grocery. Eat coconut oil, avocadoes, real olive oil that is less than a year old, grass fed meats (omega-3s), primrose oil, flax seed oil, borage oil, other Medium Change Triglyceride fats (MCT), and others.

2. Dramatically or totally reduce your sugar intake. Avoid foods that act like sugar in the body.

Those two rules eliminate many, many poor food choices. Think about how the food arrived at the grocery. How was it produced?

By avoiding these foods, what are you left with? Veggies, fruits, nuts, seeds, flowers, grass fed meats. Just like Mother Nature intended, according to God's design. If it wasn't available 100 years ago, it's likely a bad choice.

This is a very good question, so here's my list;

1) The most important thing - as LadyM said - disconnect from mainstream media - and this includes social media which became unbearable much faster than any other media form ever!

2) Educate yourself. This includes researching "good information", reading, watching seminars/talks/interwievs from trusted researchers (although this may change from person to person my fave are most Project Camelot interwievs, David Icke talks, Mark Passio seminars, definitely Max Spiers videos etc)

3) Watch what you eat. As a health professional I cannot say "stay away from sugar" or "only eat raw vegan diet" because such generalisations are usually wrong. Only you yourself may know what is good for your body - and yes usually foods filled with chemicals are NOT good!

4) Take supplements. I would recommend Omega-3 (prefably around 500 mg EPA+DHA everyday) and a suitable adaptogenic energy supplement (might include ginseng or ashwaganda or rhodiola etc.)

5) Do an energy work - prefably daily. It might be 10-15 minutes, but take your time to concentrate in your inner voice/thoughts. I prefer Cosmoenergy - Russian method which helped me a lot.

6) Enjoy life with friends or family! Being a seeker doesn't mean being an overly serious hermit. Drink beer or watch a football match! Hate Manchester United, support Chelsea for example! (ok, this is what I do at least)

7) Do NOT believe authority. This is also one of the most important things anyway and connected to #1 above! :)

8) You may watch some movies or series which have very interesting subtext - for me Sense8, The Leftovers, Legion and The Strain are the uptodate examples. Also I found Ridley Scott's Prometheus & Covenant very interesting - like he's really trying to tell us smth between cliche Alien stories.

Ok, this was not Top 10, but Top 8 at least!

I have a roomie who is all over the "what to thing networks". He has two loud tv's going in the other part of the house and I can hear one of them in my room. I constantly have to go turn the sound off -the kitchen t.v.- after he has been in there. UGH. I used to let in irritate me but now I accept it. I'm just trying to make sure I don't have that going on in my brain going to sleep or waking up. Daytime I go outside if his behaviors are disruptive. No biggie. Actually, it feels great. Me and the dogs playing in the sun.
He spends a lot of energy on emotional political rants. I give him a few moments these days to share. Then I have to stop and leave simply because the more he talks about politics the more excited he gets. He has no room for me to share thoughts in general .He talks over me. He repeats his opinions and thoughts at least 3x. He thinks I am ridiculous with this.
I feel fine and giggle inside just so long as I don't HAVE to listen to the political rants or loud commercials etc. You know. T V lol

I think this may not be appropriate place for my sharing. I will leave it though.

List:
One thing would be get the tv off or out of house.
Two.. Centering the self when our nerves are being tested.
three...outdoors and exercise. Even stretching daily is helpful.
four...eat as organic as possible.
five...gratitude, gratitude
six...attitude of appreciation.
seven..caring, sharing, balancing in all things
eight...holistic healing. Herbs, essential oils, sound and light therapies etc..
nine... Forgiveness. Authentic forgiving to self and all perceived injuries from others.
ten...LOVE. BE LOVE. BE LOVE. BE LOVE.

This is my personal list — of course. Taking the question literally, and not seeing that as advice for anyone else. (Though, I do think my list here may be quite a good one.)

1. No coffee, wheat, dairy, or sugar apart from fruit and honey. A recent change, and it’s made a ton of difference to my energy and vitality — which were already high, but sometimes variable.

2. Take good supplements every day. Don’t just guess… you can muscle-test them to find out exactly what you do and don’t need.

3. Regular vigorous exercise. I walk pretty much every day for a mile uphill and back, with a 20-30 lb pack on. As often as I can, I hike in the high mountains. I've done that all my life.

4. I’ve never smoked, taken any drugs, and have had no alcohol for decades. The last antibiotics I had were over 10 years ago, the last vaccination nearly 30 years ago.

5. I firmly decided long ago that I would never wear glasses. To this day, I still don’t. (I'm not saying throw away your glasses. I'm saying that our state of mind influences and inspires our own body to do things regular medicine considers impossible.)

6. I have a colloidal silver generator, and make it for free a liter at a time. I have MMS, oregano oil, tea tree oil, arnica, and a bunch of other alternative first aid things.

7. I’m on the forum all the time, of course, from my home computer, but never use Facebook or a smart phone. There’s something not right (or at all healthy) about either of those, in my fairly strong opinion.

8. I worked for years on my own spiritual training. (For years in past lives, too.) This is not a one-shot thing, and I have a very strong opinion that there are no shortcuts. One can take good care of one’s own body, and still be a jerk!

9. Richard Dolan’s advice here about the importance to you, and everyone around you, of truth, and being true to oneself, is solid, solid, solid gold. One of the best things I've ever heard: not a joke.
Many people think he’s ‘just’ a UFO specialist, but think again. I strongly urge everyone reading this to listen. Just 22 mins, and it’s the kind of thing one might pay a lot of $$ for and still feel one had a remarkable deal. Why is this on the list? What he describes is core, a key to your whole life. Do listen. I learned things, and that was just two days ago. (If you somehow feel you can't learn more, then it's all over.)

10. If you live alone, like I do, get a pet. :)

Out of curiosity Bill how do you use the Oregano oil? I have no Top 10 as I try different things for awhile and then get immersed in life and seem to run out of time to keep it up. At the moment for me it is taking Iodine. It is fantastic for energy, levels, as well as an appetite suppressant and I can cope with less sleep without being to grumpy, also we had major Thyroid issues in the family. Having a sense of humour is my top 10 No. 1, researching comedy and what makes you laugh is one of the most important things to keep yourself from taking life to seriously. Maybe getting out of the city and going somewhere almost remote for awhile which is something you can do here in little old New Zealand. One last thing developing gratitude for the things we have and the people around us.

Out of curiosity Bill how do you use the Oregano oil?

Hi, and thanks for the question. :)

The Oregano I have here is super-strong. In a glass of water, I can only tolerate two drops. (If you want more, dropping them into a teaspoon of olive oil, or any oil, softens the 'sting' far more than water does.)

It's a great remedy for any virus, like an imminent cold. It tends to knock it right out — fast.

Wild oregano oil, I forgot about that, if applied directly to the skin it seems to remove the dark marks (spots) that arrive from too much sun exposure ie probably early skin cancer (maybe)

Just covering myself, but it worked for us...

Ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting has boosted my energy and health through the roof. I have lost 6kg in two weeks. I also use non fluoridated toothepaste. I take folinic acid As well.

I've been meaning to come back to this post to list a few other things I do. I posted this in a hurry haha.

- Daily meditation, with focus on energy manipulation and reflection on my intuition. I also centre myself before I begin with either, which is done in meditation also.

- Reading and learning every day. It is healthy to exercise the brain by stimulating it with intellectual and educational material.

- Exercise. I used to every day, but I need to get back into that habit.

- Green Tea.

Justplain
8th June 2017, 02:06
- Filtered or spring water
- Periodic water fasts (1 day a week, then longer quarterly)
- If you watch tv or listen to radio, mute/change channel when advertising comes on
- Regular exercise, walking and yoga are great
- Quality time with family, pets and mother nature
- Use naturopathic cures whenever possible and only use allopathic as a last resort
- Low/no sugar or salt
- Organic food, whenever possible/affordable
- Time given to appreciate and be thankful for all the good things in life
- Practicing unselfish love and compassion to all around

1) Meditate with feet (or entire body) in saltwater solution if you can. A 3% salinity, like the ocean, has a magnetic conductivity of 2 Ohm which is 1 million times better than that of freshwater.

2) Lions mane mushroom helps regenerate the myelin sheath around neurons/synapses in your brain.

3) Turkey tail mushroom cures cancer as well as many other things. It allows your immune system to work better and Paul Stamets is working with the NIH (I think) on developing a supplement for the public because it works 70% better than the next best thing fighting cancer.

4) stop using toothpaste high in fluoride, it's already in tap water (4.5 don't drink that btw) and it calcified the pineal gland.

5) READ "The Four Agreements". If you haven't read this it will more than likely make you feel better about life no matter what religion you believe, what color you are or how much money you have. If you have read it, read it again.

6) check into Infinite Waters Diving Deep aka Ralph Smart. He seems to have an auric glow about him & is always uplifting.

7) play with a dog. I use mine as a tool. He allows me to feel & express love several times a day. If it weren't for him my loving capability would be extremely atrophied.

8) sit under a big tree & listen with your heart

9) don't watch television. The frequencies which it is broadcast is meant to cause your brainwaves to lock onto them and zone out. Look into the patent titled "Nervous System Manipulation by Magnetic Fields)

10) go swim with a shark. If you go to north shore O'ahu, Hawai'i there are technically 5 tours that run out of that harbor but I recommend OneOceanDiving.com. It is run by two beautiful people and Oprah Winfrey even called the woman, Ocean Ramsey, the shark whisperer. There is no cage used but they make you feel very comfortable. To bring you full circle, you are in saltwater again. Re-align your cellular polarity or as Deepak Chopra calls it, "Cell Attenuation"

Aloha Bill,

I am new here & like what I see. Would you be able to suggest how to muscle test what your body does and doesn't need? I don't like taking supplements though. I try to get what I need out of my food directly. I saw Dr. Nakamatz only eating 1 meal per day and he has taken a picture of them for the last 50 years because he knows what his body needs. I am going as organic as possible and growing a lot of my own food now for myself and family. Even my dog eats out of the garden with me. Good advice on the pet by the way, I mentioned the same thing.

I call it proper timing. You dont eat when clock strikes 6 am 12 noon and 6 pm. Your body tells you when to and what to. what happens when we eat 3 meals a day is that our stomach is always full of stuff and is always confused. It cant tell when we need food or what food we need.
But yes its amazing whatever name you call it. Anyone can get their stomach to proper state by fasting but then you dont go back to regular meal. eat only when hungry and drink plenty of water. I just had my first meal of the day, well anyway its already next day here 1:05 am, so I did not eat any meal yesterday. and I'm not fasting simply listening to my gut. when we fast our brain tells our gut not to eat. That doesn't seem a good idea to me. I've been to fasting and its amazing but listening to gut is better. But then again gut cant communicate properly when its confuse so fasting can kick start proper communication.

Out of curiosity Bill how do you use the Oregano oil?...Bill answered you, but don't do what I did. The label on my oil of oregano stated, "place up to 6 drops under the tongue for 30 seconds". Using a little bit of my brain I tested with only 1 drop, but still..... It was like a volcano in my mouth. It made me cry it burned so badly. I called the company and went off on the poor woman. She apologized and said she had other complaints and that they were changing the directions.

As Bill said, he looks at the computer a lot. We all do, I'm guessing. Do get a blue light filter ( I use special, inexpensive glasses ). The light emitted from computer screens, smart phones, etc. is harmful to the retina. And if you're on the device late at night the blue light can interfere with your sleep and hormone production.

I would add a number 3 to my list. Mitigate your stress! Even the rotten Center for Disease Control admits that up to 95% of all ailments are due to stress. Stress is cumulative. Many little daily stressors add up quickly. Stress keeps our cells in a state of contraction, quite the opposite of the universal tenant of expansion. It's akin to staying in Fight or Flight constantly, disrupting the autonomic nervous system.

I heard a great analogy from another video about intermittent fasting:

Everyone drives a hybrid vehicle (our bodies) it's designed to run both off batteries (stored energy: aka fat) and gasoline (sugars, foods, calories) but almost no one runs their vehicle the way it's meant to be, we are always running off gasoline and almost never off battery.

Use the vehicle the way it was designed to be used and you'll enjoy it far more (and it will last longer!).

The key to intermittent fasting & the reasons it is so awesome are two main phenomenon, Ketogenic metabolism and Human Growth Hormone production... HGH is what famous people inject to stay young looking and be energetic, but if you simply eat in a "sane" and "biologically compatible" way (with a couple easy tricks) then you can produce this on your own, for free!

HGH production starts when insulin production stops, and insulin production starts the SECOND you eat or drink anything but water (with a few MINOR exceptions).

There you have it: a taste of the fountain of youth can be yours by simply adjusting your eating habits a bit (and, the most important part for highly efficient use of this system: exercise RIGHT before you break your fast.. in most people this will SPIKE your HGH production hugely, which improves nearly every function of our bodies).

Here's a quick primer on what's "ok" to consume while you are on your time restricted diet:

6aOGxhbe-Hc

*Note* it is 3pm here, I am having my first handful of cashews for the day (I've drank a lot of water though), I'll stop eating by 9pm or sooner tonight... I did 50 push ups and 10 pull ups before I ate my nuts (best I can do at my office really) to help spike the HGH.

I used to just do intermittent fasting, but adding the exercise RIGHT before you break your fast is a new thing I've been doing for a few weeks, and it's really a noticeable change (for me at least).

I can imagine that a neanderthal machine hunting for food and not finding on time will be running on reserves. So it comes to design by adaptation. And our body has a remarkable ability to adapt, I wouldn't say that it is still the case now that much has changed. The result of eating only when hungry to me is lots of water and less and less food. and a very sensitive guts. Just by imagining foods my body can tell me if thats what I need or not, when I am hungry. I will try the 50 push ups before eating though.

My list incorporates a lot of freedom and flexibility within the goals. I think they should promote lightheartedness and the rewards of freedom and shouldn't feel burdensome and fraught with ongoing guilt whenever you don't live up to it. Better to increase the frequency of right choices naturally by getting tired of the results of the bad choices. The only goal I feel is worth viewing with the fiercest dedication to no-exceptions is #1 as it becomes the bigger and bigger rock everything else gets it's strength of conviction from.

1. Live your truth at every opportunity no matter what the cost. I suspect that living your life constantly reinforcing these kinds of courage enables your soul to grow stronger and freer and is the best way to spend lifetimes - courage to let go of false beliefs and change, courage to stand up to physical, mental and/or spiritual attack on your convictions, courage to be vulnerable and love.

2. Find a way to make a comfortable, stable living at something soul rewarding as the first requirement - something or things you are very good at and love to do. Work for yourself if you can't find anyone to work for who values you and rewards you fairly. Don't settle for being anyone's slave mostly for higher pay (except while also working towards getting 'other' together). A career just to get money enough for possessions as goals/rewards are just ongoing money drains and it deepens enslavement in the long run, not to mention that the earned possessions are not even rewarding.

3. Let go of relationships with lovers or friends who drain your energy with their eternally unresolving issues because of not being interested in ongoing honesty, deep self-analysis and improving themselves and helping you do the same as the point of the relationship.

4. Identify and eliminate all 'products' with poisons, and eliminate all processed/GMO/MSG/ and foods with bad oils and corn or soy derivative ingredients foods, period. After that, eat what you want and if it makes you feel bad don't do it anymore and don't berate yourself about occasional indulging in things you mostly avoid. Might even be healthy to throw a wrench at a healthy body once in a while to stir things up a bit and let it exercise it's defenses.

5. Have a daily regimen of movement, whatever method you enjoy.

6. Avoid all vaccines, pharmaceuticals and the traditional medical establishment as much as possible. Feel the relief of knowing without doubt that you can find the cause and heal yourself of anything, then figure it out as needed.

7. Keep your home surroundings reasonably clean, organized and free of chaos because it reflects your mind, and without it your mind will be prone to also projecting similar muddyness and chaos in it's greater exterior.

8. Explore, marvel and delight in this grand miracle we live on as much as possible - respect the vast richness of nature, people and mind in moments that will happen once in all of eternity all day long and never again.

9. After you 'wake up', start seeing through deceptions and lies and start naturally being repelled by mass media and modern entrapments, don't feel burdened by your inadequacy to right the mountain of wrongs you find yourself in a sea of - the unfathonable pain, immaturity, corruption, addictions, bad choices and paths by so many around you. Know that cleaning up your stuff and leading by example is the best way to contribute to the whole. It's OK to let everything else be, what everyone else needs to experience to grow is their path and creation.

10. If you've established all of the above and know you have a partner you are in tune with for the long haul - have kids! They will push all your buttons, force you to deal with all your remaining issues and you will grow and love in ways you wouldn't have the opportunity for without them.

Fun question, thank you. This list just poured out without having to really think.

What a great thread! Here are a few of the things that work for me.

1. Eliminate processed sugar. This really made a difference in my life, however I am not a complete fanatic - I still indulge in a small piece of chocolate once or twice a week. Amazing how much better it tastes when I eat it so sparingly. :-)

2. I eat about 2 tablespoons of raw organic brown rice every morning before I eat or drink anything else. I grind it up in a coffee grinder that I have just for that purpose (you don't want to be eating coffee grounds.) For me this is an amazing way to clean up the intestinal tract. If you try this, however, PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL OF YOUR TEETH! Some people have teeth that are not very strong and I believe it is possible to break or crack your teeth. Please be cautious and use your own intuitive good sense.

3. I also have eliminated all wheat and just generally all bread-type foods.

4. It is so important to be connected to at least one other human being. Find someone you can be totally honest with, who gets you deeply and whom you can also see deeply into their heart and soul - with whom their is deep mutual respect. "Friends" who cannot really see us or share love with us can be exhausting, but a true friend with whom we share real "betweenness" is nourishing beyond belief.

5. The spiritual is so important and so individual. A small part of my spiritual focus everyday is something I picked up from the author Serge Kahili King:

Bless this moment
Trust myself
Expect the best

I repeat these lines to myself so often during the day, but it is also important to actually feel in my body the reality of these words each and every time I say them. Only then is there magic. :-)

6. I have read that in shamanism they believe we dream our reality into being and if we are in a dream we don't like, we can change the dream! This emphasizes for me how important it is to not participate in the "dream" reality of news media, television, etc. If what I put my attention on is what comes into being in my reality, then it is important for me to open my heart and bless all the things in my life that I experience as harmonious and wondrous.

One other thing, most things work as much as you believe they will, which says a lot for how we function. (ie placebo effect)

Race horses take MSM-Sulfur, Gallium Nitrate for knees and pain. Dog take Carbon 60 and act like pups again.. Neither of them KNOW or BELIEVE in these things..

Placebo is over rated...

I've tried and believed in enough supplement over last last few years to prove this is a false assumption. As much as I wanted things to work, few do frankly.

Every person' situation, body and health concerns are different.
You should focus on what your personal health and spiritual concerns are. Not what others are... not what Advertisements say...

Thus I tell people to look for Symptoms of health problems.. Most are caused by Nutritional Deficiencies... IMHO.

Vitamins can not work without Minerals..
Everyone is deficient in Minerals, as the soils are depleted.
Farmers don't replace minerals in the soils. They add oil based fertilizers.. chemicals basically.

So add a liquid mineral to your diet.

But neither Vitamins or Minerals work without Systemic Enzymes (SE).
Systemic Enzymes are made by your liver and pancreas in abundance, until you turn age 27... Then their production falls like a rock.
SE are involved in 3,500+ chemical functions in the body.
They speed up healing, reduce inflammation, lower blood pressure naturally, eat fibrin, eat blood clots, eat scar tissue.
There are many various ones available.. but you must take them in high enough doses to obtain results.
I like Vitalzym for any illness, operations, etc.. recovery.

I suggest one make a list of say your main health concerns..
Then prioritize..
The most serious issue, the ones you are taking Rx Drugs for and want to find natural solutions instead for, ones that run in your family, those that are getting worst.. or those you have dealt with the longest, etc.
The reason for prioritizing.. is it is better to work on 2 or 3 of those.. and make progress, than the easy ones..
Work at finding a way to avoid Rx Meds...

The Immunity is my #1 concern.. and MDs know nothing about improving it.
It they did.. they would lose a lot of patients.

Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is the best way I have found to increase the immunity 300%... to optimize it.
Plus it is cheap... and can be ordered from www.buylowdosenaltrexone.com... dilute the 50 mg pill in 11-12 oz of distilled water.. keep it cold.. and drink 1 oz per night.. or less.

Make a list of nutritional food & supplements to Research that may solve your health problem.
Take notes..
Look for the Chemical Reason they work..
Your body is one chemical reaction after another.
I want to know why this will work chemically in the body... not just because 8 out of 10 idiot MDs say so.

Join Forums that have the same health issues..
Learn from their experience..

Avoid MDs and the Medical System as much as possible..
They are drug pushers milking your insurance company.
They are not trying to Cure you !

If your supplement is not helping your health issue at high doses in 3-4 months.. forget it.
Try something else.. or figure out why it is not working.. Maybe one needs another that works with it.. for example.

Forget what others say about things.. Research and know why you are taking certain supplements.
Others opinions are usually just repeating what they hear.. they frankly have little actual knowledge of what how this supplement works.
Advertisement is not Education.
Don't trust MDs easy answers.. They often just make it up. They are not scientist.
