My sister is driving cross-county this week by herself, so I'm keeping her company (and keeping her awake!) by phone. She has commented over and over on the amount of construction on the interstate highways.
I didn't have any luck with google, but I can't help wondering if the roads are being improved for some sinister reason, or if it's just the old adage I lived with for so long:
"Chicago has two seasons: winter and road repair".
Anybody have any relevant information?
