There is easily enough land to feed everyone many times over...look at communist Russias failed farms, it was the private gardens that fed the nation !

There may be enough food to feed everyone today, but what about tomorrow? Geoengineering is a major concern.

Sure there is, as long as we don't keep covering it with concrete and asphalt or keep soaking it with glyphosates...

There's tons of food. We throw away 1/2 of all grown crops before they hit the plate. A full 50% gets wasted. Large scale low cost vertical aeroponic/hydroponic farms are the future.
Up to the end of WW II Romania was considered the breadbasket of Europe with good quality grains.
I grow my own fruits and vegetables and I only buy 12 kilos of rice and about 60 kilos of wheat flour annually.
Replying to thread question:There's more than enough food to feed more than we are on this planet.

Western worlders eat far to much food anyway, we can live healthy on far less.
If we wan't to be concerning beings, get rid of all the foods that are for personal taste and luxury as well.
The world/us needs to get real!
Of course though, if we break out of the hypnotic-mind-control-hyped-money making-corporate-system, they will just kill us off quick and roll out another generation of mass consumers.

OK so take a few rough assumptions:
-Say people can subsist on Hemp seeds for the purposes of this.
Hemp yield per acre: 3 tonnes per year
Hemp Calories per kg: 5858
Human population: 7 billion
Human calorific needs : 2500 per day
How many square km of land would grow enough hemp?
ANSWER: 1,471,510
AGRICULTURAL LAND IN ARGENTINA: 1,480,000

Hemp would be a good one. If anyone wants to grow food fast, Alfalfa grows from seed to edible in 3-5 days. Kudzu "the vine that ate the South" is supposed to grow nearly a foot per day.

Snall scale micro-vertical-farms showcasing how quickly edible food can be grown would be super-interesting.

Small scale farming would be extremely helpful.
Re-discovery of the skills people had at the beginning of the 1900's would be extremely helpful. We would not be here were it not for their skills. And they did it without electricity and without gasoline.
The big risk is when the manipulators/control freaks decide to withhold credit. The trucks delivering food to markets will not have fuel without credit. Large supermarkets cannot conduct business without internet access to computers.
The manipulators/control freaks are likely to create enough fear (lack of food, civil unrest) to gain public acceptance of new laws that remove freedom, well being, joy, love and truth from many peoples lives, all in exchange for a lie that promises better times.
