UFOs the term meaning Unidentified Flying Objects. It is now in some of the publics mind that the so name UFO are linked to aliens by common consent and has unfortunately been hijacked by those trying to prove a point or belief that links UFOs to aliens or visitors from space.

This in turn has lead to the subject matter being tighten by official establishments, either classifying the material and not releasing it or down right denials that any investigation or materials exist with their files. If you look at the position from the establishments point of view, you have to remember that they have to deal with a wider picture rather than limited groups of people, like the so called UFO community. The larger picture means that many do not believe that we have been visited by any other life from outer space which is intelligent, any scientist for example within certain fields wouldn't even acknowledge an interest let alone stick his or her neck out which goes against the common concepts or beliefs unless it can be absolutely proven has fact or fits a mass belief or theories which are excepted.

So where does this get us? If someone is interested in obtaining an official response to a UFO that has been sighted, you will probably get next to nothing if it is recent, due to operational requirements, which could be exploited be any opponent to that particular government or military.

So alternative terms can be used, such has suspicious aviation activity reports, from fusion centres associated with the Department of Homeland Security in the US. Brevity Codes, such has Gopher or Bogey which are aerial activities not conforming to safety requirements and unknown radar contacts. Unidentified aviation/aerial activities or events. NORAD for example uses to term Unknown Tracks for unidentified targets in the air within the North American airspace. There are other terms used also such has remaining unknown which are those that haven't been identified after processing the target and seeking identification.

I am at present seeking such documents using all of the above terms in absence of the term UFO from many different areas, including the Atlantic Warning Areas in use by the Naval Air Systems Command, US Forces in Korea, Sea Test Range off the west coast of the United States, Air Combat Command facilities, and any unauthorised aerial activity attempting to penetrate those facilities, US Marine Corps and numerous others. The term UFO will close doors due to the perception that people associate that term with. It is no wonder the USAF does give anything, it doesn't want the grief this is one reason why the dubious and inaccurate Fact Sheet on UFOs was created to prevent being targeted by self interested parties, some trying to prove a point.

I think “UAP” – unidentified aerial phenomena is getting more often used nowdays. Astrounats refered to them as Santa Claus if I remember correct.

Remember that much shown video taken from the space capsule showing the broken-loose tether against a background of presumably very large undulating-looking objects (large because the tether is presumed to be large) passing the tether and being shot at from the lower atmosphere? I often wonder whether that was something concocted under a microscope because they look so obviously biological in motion and shape. Telescopic videos taken by amateur astronomers show them hovering high above the moon's surface. Then there are the obviously mechanical creations which come from inner Earth, outer space and inter-dimensions; and last but not least, those created by Earthlings. The Triangles, I believe, are USA craft. The Nazi craft from 1945 look as though put together with nuts and bolts and older technology. Ones being hidden under the snow ledges of Antarctica are born of higher factory technology which did not come out of someone's little garage shop. Further, I believe, the ARK of GABRIEL will be taken aboard a top-level space craft and used to fend off space meteors headed for our planet.

Changing terminology is leading to different/wrong research/investigation and further to wrong/confusing conclusions/results and this is the main intention of those how started this.So many backslash strokes to avoid manipulation intent.

Doesn't look confusing already? That's the purpose of changing terminology.

It is also to do with technological progress of aerial devices, such has public, commercial and military use of drones which are becoming more sophisticated, hence tactics and techniques must be developed to track such airborne objects. Also technology in the classified sector may parallel the modern day so called UFO phenomena. It is getting more complex, and the fact that world tensions are increasing, also limits the amount of information come forward, for anything unknown flying around is going to be the cause of concern, and the need to identity the objects is a priority to any military or civilian authorities, from a security point of view and air safety.

Unofficially of course it could be an entirely different ball game.

I bet the brevity codes will change yet again with the revival of the US Space Council & The recently announced US Space Corps.
The Santa Claus one is most interesting!!! Why use that? It's like bait to minds like ours....
