It start with chewing a fine steak on Sunday and ended with me in the operating room on Monday night getting a foreign object removed from my lungs.

I would not wish this treatment on anyone, but all is almost well today, Tuesday. I posted (https://grayseconomy.com/2017/07/11/a-bridge-too-far-my-strange-hospitalization-on-monday/) all details on my blog, if you saw it.

Glad it wasn't your last meal. That sounds terrible. What happened? How long do you need to be off to recover? Sending healing vibes...x.... N

That's a VERY wild story.

I can imagine the discussions among the hospital staff who'd never seen that kind of thing before. :)

No fun at the time, OMG, but certainly something to laugh at later. I really did appreciate the blog post.

So sorry for you. But i thin it could make the ginness book of once on the planet. Are you suing the dentist?

And I enjoyed your use of gag as a noun. Very funny.

He's been my dentist for 20 years, so I don't think so. Maybe get two implants free. Sounds like a reasonable solution.

Cool shirt, is this the image? You can use it to get another printed if you're keen.

Reading your account made me squirm! How incredibly strange...and then the bridge was accidentally dropped into the other lung? Well, I am happy you are okay because that story just had 'poor outcome' written all over it!

How utterly bizarre! Glad you are okay....how did they get into your lungs without you choking I wonder? I picture one of the claws on the end of an endoscope or some such.

Probably should have attached a magnet :)

As an aside my surgeon let go outside for a cigarette b4 surgury once as I had been waiting for 2 hours... he said it would relieve stress from withdrawal and settle me down.

You will have to let us know how much your bill is and how many specialists were needed ( in other words, how many will charge your insurance). I am a nurse and can attest to the fact that our medical system is the biggest money grabbing scam out there.

Glad your ok!!!!
