Thanks, mojo. I visited Petra last April, and this video is a very nice refresher. Also it is good to get Bryan Foerster's take on the real history of the site. When I was there, the official story given to me was unbelievable. But the tour guide would not deviate a word from the history that he was taught. Guides must learn that story and pass a test before they can register. In it, the rooms were all carved into the 'soft' sandstone strictly to be used for tombs. It only took a few hundred years. I asked where did the people live and was told that they lived in huts out in the middle of the siq. Ha!
