Yes, not only a very smart woman indeed but given her medical background which could have maybe prevented her being quite so open minded, she has also demonstrated a great open-mindedness to the ET issue, certainly. Hardly surprising considering that later on in her life it became apparent that she had been a regular 'abductee' since the age of five. And she has a sense of humour too.

I have to say I didn't agree with her all the time but she was a pioneer here. Was not afraid to say what's on her mind. She was the Finnish version of David Icke.:) She did couple of lectures in my hometown, but sadly, I never met her personally.

I had the opportunity to meet Rauni in the 1990's when she visited Charlottesville, VA. I was asked by the owner of a metaphysical book store, The Quest, to give her a ride to a Washington D.C. airport to catch a flight home. We spent more than 1.5 hrs together riding and talking about ETs. It was during a time when I was collecting so much information from a variety of sources, I do not remember specifically what her ET stories were. Wish I could remember.

I did like her books about spirituality, afterlife, the coming changes in the future and ET's. One of her best books from the early 80's was called "There is no death" and it contained very relieving information. I didn't follow her that much later on when she was mostly focusing on conspiracies, but overall she did great work. And yes, the media and common folks here saw her as a nutcase, meanwhile others respected her. I'm sure she is continuing her journey somewhere out there even at this moment.
