Many legendary musicians and producers have used a sound that appears to either continuously be ascending or descending. You have no doubt heard this at some point. It is called a sheperds tone and is an auditory illusion. Watch the video it's fascinating stuff. Anyone else happen to know of any other auditory illusions?

I spoke with another user on Avalon about the possibilities this tone may play into "reality". We know something like time doesn't exist but yet it gives off the illusion that it does. Just like this tone is stable yet seems to be continuously rising or falling.
And the way this tone is layered (just like dimensions) may give it the texture to the illusion (existence outside a beginning and end). Would love to hear thoughts and theories!
