We have heard time and again the official response either of denial or the incidents or events pertaining to UFO encounters which have been recorded and kept out of the public view due to the dubious term "national security".

Yet lets say, before the United States existed, before the so called "discovery" of the Americas, would sightings or contact with these so called and so named UFOs be a threat to the peoples who occupy the landscape in which the UFOs were sighted in the sky?

Is it more of a sociological threat, a way of life threat, or is it just a matter of perspective based upon previous experience with other social groups, ways of life, or frankly something which is beyond our control, including something which may be stronger than us from our view point. After all most of our existence has been involved in war mongering, attacking each other for a variety of reasons, hence our perspective may in a general sense be from that view point of a threat if it is considered to be different from us, stronger than us, or something beyond our understanding which could create a view point which involves fear. Every social group to some respect could also involved belief systems, which are a part of the unity of social groups, and anything that effects that unity could be considered a threat or cause for concern.

But after all this is said, there is some indication some social groups did have some cultural understanding of these UFOs (which is a modern term which is not accurate if you examine the nature of the phenomena), and may of viewed the situation in a productive and positive light. It seems the view regarding the phenomena changes with time, social conditions amongst ourselves, knowledge of wider issues or lands beyond their actually experience....but of cause all this is from a matter of perspective, and who knows how those of the past view this things, beyond the limited records which have survive the passing of time.
