View Full Version : Putin: North Korea Doesn’t Have Nuclear Weapons, It Has Trillions in Minerals

They do have the reputation...

"Russian President Vladimir Putin has blown the whistle on the real reason that the world is on the brink of all-out nuclear war.

According to Mr. Putin, the story being pushed in the mainstream media that North Korea has nuclear weapons is a complete fabrication designed convince the public that the hermit nation is a global threat.

“[North Korea] don’t have any nuclear weapons. This is a lie being forced on the people by the corporate-owned Western media”, said Putin during an emotionally charged Q&A session in Sochi.

“They know they can easily provoke the North Koreans and they will react, but the story that they are a threat is false.” “I will tell you the facts about North Korea: They don’t have nuclear bombs.

They don’t have Western-controlled banks. They don’t depend on the US dollar. What they do have is a land full of wealth in unmined minerals.”

According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, President Putin has “had some time away to reflect” on the US-North Korean conflict and believes that the situation has “gone too far”.

Putin went on to say that Kim Jong-un “would never launch a real attack, it’d be suicidal. Pyongyang knows this and so does Washington”.

At an event on Tuesday on the topic of Americans over-using opioids, Donald Trump said: “North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”

President Trump made the comment in response to an article in the Washington Post that stated: North Korea has successfully produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can fit inside its missiles, crossing a key threshold on the path to becoming a full-fledged nuclear power, U.S. intelligence officials have concluded in a confidential assessment.

The analysis, completed last month by the Defense Intelligence Agency, comes on the heels of another intelligence assessment that sharply raises the official estimate for the total number of bombs in the communist country’s atomic arsenal.

The United States calculated last month that up to 60 nuclear weapons are now controlled by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Up to now, the only real evidence of North Korea having weapons of mass destruction is what is being pushed in the mainstream media.

According to Mr. Putin, it’s “the same thing that happened in Iraq and Libya”. In the situations with both Iraq and Lybia, both countries were invaded by the West and their leaders were executed for war crimes without any real proof.

What Putin has stated about the real reasons for attacking North Korea also ring true. Their banking system isn’t controlled by the IMF and they don’t have a Rothschild-controlled world bank, nor are they dependent on the US dollar.

It’s also reported that the country has between $6-10 trillion in untapped natural resources. According to Quartz, below the nation’s mostly mountainous surface are vast mineral reserves, including iron, gold, magnesite, zinc, copper, limestone, molybdenum, graphite, and more—all told about 200 kinds of minerals.

Also present are large amounts of rare earth metals, which factories in nearby countries need to make smartphones and other high-tech products.

Estimates as to the value of the nation’s mineral resources have varied greatly over the years, made difficult by secrecy and lack of access.

North Korea itself has made what are likely exaggerated claims about them.

According to one estimate from a South Korean state-owned mining company, they’re worth over $6 trillion. Another from a South Korean research institute puts the amount closer to $10 trillion."

If Putin did say this, then it is quite possible that North Korea does not have nuclear weapons because his words outweighs the western media. But for this astounding claim, where is the source? Please give the source. This is so important.

It makes a lot of sense, if Putin said this. It falls into the NWO remit, however unless we have links and a source it means nothing. So, links and source please .

It would really help if there was a source for this. Snopes says "unproven", so does Business 2 Community.

Just because it "sounds right" it doesn't mean he ever said it.

OK, I did a tiny bit of research. It came from Neon Nettle!

So, if North Korea doesn't have nuclear weapons, what have they been testing? What has their Pink Lady been shouting about on their news? What have seismometers across Alaska and Asia been detecting from north Korea?

One would think that if Putin did indeed make these statements it would be on the homepage of RT.com. I check the headlines there daily, and have not seen it yet. I may have missed it, though.

As for North Koreas nuclear capacity it is still not definitely confirmed as far
as I am aware either way. Its definitely in North Koreas interest to say they
have as they have seen what happened in Iraq and Libya and they are on
the neo con/dem list of targets, which has now stalled. I think this probably
will die down as the annual exercise season is coming to end in Korea....

We should remember this and although North Korea was not on this list
it has been simmering in the background for decades...

North Korea says it has successfully tested a nuclear weapon that could be loaded
onto a long-range missile. The secretive communist state said its sixth nuclear test
was a "perfect success", hours after seismologists had detected an earth tremor.
Pyongyang said it had tested a hydrogen bomb - a device many times more
powerful than an atomic bomb. Analysts say the claims should be treated with
caution, but its nuclear capability is clearly advancing.North Korea last carried out a
nuclear test in September 2016. It has defied UN sanctions and international
pressure to develop nuclear weapons and to test missiles which could potentially
reach the mainland US.South Korean officials said the latest test took place in Kilju
County, where the North's Punggye-ri nuclear test site is situated

US still at war with North Korea, 1953 was just a truce - professor

US still at war with North Korea, 1953 was just a truce - professor Technically
speaking, the US is still at war with North Korea, Paul Atwood, professor of
American studies at the University of Massachusetts tells RT America. No peace
treaty was signed at the end of the Korean War in 1953, just an armistice. Given
what has happened to Libya, Iraq and others, North Korea believes that its security
from the US depends on having nuclear weapons.

you are correct and its not on Anti media either. So its more likely that Putin did not say it. And if N Korea did have nuclear which is more likely then Putin loss credibility.

Mmmmmmm, does'nt add up. If the west was on the brink of nuclear war with North Korea to obtain it's mineral wealth how would you extract them from a country contaminated by nuclear fallout. Dont think a potential ground assault would be popular after all they do have a sizeable army but could not see that happening anyway. Who knows.... Nothing surprises me anymore

But they all actually quote the same source: neon nettle! All the links you posted are re-quoting just one disreputable source! Where possible always go to a source close to the story. As LadyM says, RT.com would be the obvious place to look. I did and I could find no trace of it.

The last video actually admits neon nettle is a "disreputable website", so I don't know why you have included it to 'support' the story.
