About five years ago, walking across a hill two council workers were staring at a Dragonfly. I stopped and asked them as I've asked other people, didn't Dragonflies used to be the colour of cooked sweetcorn and black?. The one they were staring at was greeny blue, which was the colour of Damsel flies though this was much bigger.
One agreed straight away the other expressed doubt, which made the first guy more hesitant. It was like they were thinking 'who am I to say what colour dragonflies are'.
Anyway I would like to know didn't Dragonflies used to be yellow and black?
