Maybe you know about a "déjà vu". It's also the title of a 2006 movie where it was possible to look 4 1/4 days in the past.

Now, I just experienced something related which I will call a "déjà entendu". It is (also) French. Where (a) "déjà vu" means "already seen", "déjà entendu" means "already heard".

At 17.30 (it's 17.50 here now) I distinctly heard someone knocking on the glass door, two meters from where I was sitting. I looked, nobody there. I heard it again. Still nobody could be seen. I went outside, just to see if anyone was there. No, nobody. How strange!

But then, at 17.35, I heard - again! - the same knocking sound on that same window. And yes, NOW there was somebody there, knocking! (the gardener who was telling me he was coming to work with the grass).

I asked him: "Did you knock five minutes ago too?" and he responded,"No, I just arrived now and knocked only now".

Question: what happened here? Did I pre-hear an event of the nearby future? Or what else can it be. And no, it was not "my imagination"!

I am thinking along the lines of "the simulated/holographic universe". Where there is no linear time, and possibly, somehow, I made a tiny "jump"...
