It is not impossible that one could get rid of paranormal activity in an apartment (not from a poltergeist or the invisible one who communicates with you, but precisely from paranormal activity that cameras record as certain hazy shapes or clouds) by manipulating mirrors. It is no coincidence that paranormal activity is usually confined to the 'field of view' of mirrors.

If your home has paranormal activity, then before paying money to various charlatans, try carrying all the mirrors out of the apartment and see what happens. If this is impossible, then paint them all with a thick layer of tooth powder diluted in water or crushed chalk. Actually, wherever these paranormal entities are encountered, this must be done to all objects that reflect like a mirror, since a polished cabinet door, for instance, can act as an entry point. Such a procedure cannot harm either the mirrors or the polish. They will only sparkle more in a couple of days when you wipe off the paste or chalk, but closing the entry point for the 'paranormal entities' is entirely realistic.
By the way, pungent odors are also not to the liking of the 'guests' from over there, and garlic as a means to combat vampires emerged with perfect justification, though almost all essential-oil-bearing plants are suitable. But as for why the 'guests from over there' are not reflected in a mirror, we will speak about that a bit later...

The custom of covering mirrors in a house when a deceased person is lying there did not arise out of nowhere. More than once it happened that a dead man would be lying on a bench, while his relatives saw with horror that in the mirror he was walking toward the door. And it has happened that mirrors reflected not the place they were facing, nor the objects they were supposed to reflect, but completely different ones.
And the legends stating that beings that have no shadow and no reflection in a mirror are visitors from another world are also correct. Aliens, spirits, entities, and the like are often afraid of mirrors, which is why one should defend against unclean spirits not with a cross, but with a mirror. Though, after doing that, I would scrape off the silvering. Just in case. Better safe than sorry.

...I would replace the baseboards in all rooms with mirrors along the perimeter. A 10-centimeter border would be quite enough. According to my calculations, paranormal activity in such rooms ought to decrease.

If you are tormented by a recently deceased relative—more precisely, of course, by his soul—I strongly advise you to perform an exhumation and cremate the deceased. It makes sense to try using quicklime; it seems to be a means no less powerful than cremation.

However, if you do bury a relative in the ground after all, it is advisable to place his strictly personal belongings in the coffin with him: his watch, glasses, prosthetics, etc.; but the shoes must be absolutely new, and the clothing preferably so as well. Why? Because a trouble might occur. The soul—or rather, a part of his soul, to be exact—frequently ends up trapped by objects that the deceased never parted with, but that part of the soul that ends up trapped in clothing and, especially, in shoes can turn out to be a very unpleasant neighbor for the rest of the soul.

Such a soul might take it into her head to pay you a visit. Recently, I came across two reports that were rather strange at first glance—only at first glance. The soul of an old woman, after her death, tormented her relatives with demands to return her dentures, while another deceased man asked that another pair of shoes be sent to him with the next deceased fellow villager, because the old ones pinched. Teeth are not particularly needed in the next world—and shoes cannot pinch, either—but the state of discomfort due to the absence of an important, familiar part of the soul is traced quite clearly.

Placing small pyramids in the rooms can also help.
