Had a friend pass away the other day.

A week ago Saturday I stopped by my local American legion to have 1 draft beer. Sat down at the bar and another guy who is a member there who I've known for a few years was sitting next to me, we started talking and he had quite a few things bothering him so I listened for a while and we ended up talking for 40 minutes or so. It got so in depth I forgot I even ordered another pint of suds. But I had this feeling he needed to talk so I stayed there for a while.

My friend is in his early 40,s , would help out anyone in the blink of an eye. His wife who is in her late 30s comes from a family of cancer victims and survivors. She has already had 1 bout of cancer and he was asking about dying, death, ECT. I gave him as much reassurance in so many of his directives of doubts and concerns. When we got done talking he thanked me for taking the time to just sit and talk. Little did I know that the entire discussion we had concerning his wife ended up being for him.

My friend passed away in his sleep 2 nights ago. I'm just a bit stunned at the timing of all of this . And yes early 40s in age, wife , kids, yeah! Just working on processing this entire experience. God's speed to my buddy.

Coincidence? I’d rather think that his inner being brought him to ask those questions, and you were where the answers could be found. Maybe it needed the fear, and his powerful hope for her, about her new cancer situation. I wish her good health, and a good life for her and their children. He seems in good hands.

You will always be glad in your heart you reached out and made yourself available . You touched him in a special deep way, and that is rare and blessed for both. Something higher happened here, and you enabled it. That’s pretty special my friend.

Jeffrey Olsen dozed off at the wheel for a second and the resulting accident took his wife and sons life. He lived to tell his story of leaving the body and making an agreement with his wife crossing over that he would remain here live and stay and care for their other surviving son. Its hard to fathom how together this man is regarding it all, unless he truly knew what he shares with all here in this video.
Perhaps you can watch this and be relived a bit. No one dies, just a thin veil, but we all struggle with death regardless.

We talk about near death experiences but when someone you know dies it's its own kind near death experience. Thanks to Ivanhoe who posted this for me in April 2020 when a good friend died. I hope it brings comfort to you :heart:

I stopped by the American legion last night, really felt way out of place up til I walked in and then I realized, everyone else there that knew my buddy to were doing what they usually do and life goes on. Kind of a surreal feeling that just a few days ago this was that , and now it's gone never to be again. I did find out yesterday that his wife is going thru chemo again now.i don't know her condition.

I'm very familiar with the grieving process as I'm sure many are here on this site.each passing is different and unique to every living person left behind. And the timing of dealing with that is also dealt with on its own each individual timeline. But at the end of the day your never really ready for it.thanks for all the links, I Will watch them .

Souls come and go, leaving behind accomplishments and endeavours.
Your friend had the chance to create magical 3D bodies with a soulmate to provide the opportunity for other souls to have the chance to be here.
Even now in his absence he is providing all of us a deep reflection upon our own lives.
Such is our divine presence , no matter how it is presented.
And so it is.

I'm aware of the good energy people leave behind and those who experienced that energy can feel it anytime. Were having a celebration of his life in a week or so and I'm sure a big part of this little town will be there for that. thanks to everyone here for letting me vent

Life is fickle.

No one knows when their time will be up. Never assume otherwise.

My condolences. At least you got to talk to him about those deep issues before he passed. That is a blessing, to be sure.


I don't understand death. It is incomprehensible to me. So against everything I believe, everything I love. Why do we do it?

Because it seems thousands of people, non-members, read Avelon, I am posting this about my brother, a chain smoker, who went through his entire life with serious DISLEXIA as a trucker. He had four children and a wife to support, and never let anyone know of his crippling problem. I wonder if there is any help for people out there who have this problem. Stating it on Avelon will help a lot of people who have such family and friends. My brother never reached out for help and suppressed his fear by smoking.

How is this connected to the above post? I've had some unusual experiences connected with my brother since his death. While viewing the Internet, a picture about six inches square, in my mind, was floating above me. He was sitting at a small desk dressed in a navy-blue jacket with white shirt and colorful tie and had his body and face as it was when he was 20. If he was looking at a screen, it was about ten feet away from him from which point I was viewing him in my mind. He was showing me that he was still in existence.

On September 8, 2022, a similar floating picture about the size of a cell phone appeared 4' high off the ground of Queen Elizabeth II. When her mother died she was bereft and her defenses were down. I felt her grief and what felt like a strong shock passed from her to me. Her mother and her daughter were her mainstay.

Three days after that experience, I saw in the same location, a cell phone sized photo in color of Dolores Cannon who died in 2015. For those unfamiliar with her, she was a hypnotherapist who, to her surprise, began being told past life memories by her clients.

Now the following thoughts rocketed through my brain at these happenings. There is a starship overhead which is sending me apports, OR, I am receiving messages from the DEAD on the other side who are actually using technology to contact us. There is past literature written about this subject, surprisingly. SO, if you have lost a loved one, they are very much still AROUND. i wish I could afford to purchase all of Dolores books. They contain mind-blowing information about the REAL world we exist in. Are we living in a SIMULATION?
