Best Place For Current Accurate News/Information? Please Share

Please reccomend your favorite places to find trustworthy "news" I myself use twitter to follow many different people and groups. I think accurate honest information is crucial in these times we live in and I would imagine that many Avalon members have many websites bookmarked that are very informative and accurate and I think sharing your places you visit for information would be very helpfull to all. Thank you for any help.

Trustworthy must be discerned from within by knowledge and intuition, it is everywhere and nowhere simultaneously. Same with deceit. Review the daily posts here at avalon as usually they link back to the source and if the source resonates with you boolmark it. This allows you the pleasure of your own quest for trustworthy. IMHO

For financial and political news I turn to zerohedge.com to read different points of view on current financial and geopolitical affairs.

When it comes to MSM I see the same story, translated to regional languages, repeated on all the channels. To find out the truth about an event, requires a lot of blog and forum searching and critical thinking. And there is no way to be 100% sure.

Russia Today, Press TV and Al Jazeera report quite well on US affairs, and CNN in turn blows up Russian and Iranian events. The Daily Bell is a nice place to read opinions about current affairs, Ron Paul posts there sometimes. The daily bell used to have great discussions, but those were taken over by trolls. (Commenting on articles is disabled as far as I can see)

News on (precious) metals I read on kitco.com and King World News (also about hedge funds, dealers and other fin news).

I also used to read Bloomberg, Reuters and CNN but get sick and tired of all the propaganda.

I find David Icke's headlines useful, but one has to double check, for any bias or exaggeration.

Funnily enough the 'normal' media tells us much ....usually about what they omit to say, and how they pad out their time with trivia.
Watch out for 'Barnum statement' ...fluff! Statements that could apply to anything...over the past thirty or so year I've heard the same old sounds!
.... A bit like forums.

we cannot be everywhere all at once, but as a community here on avalon we can...
i think this is as good a place as any.. we are able to decipher things a lot more quickly than any other place, imo.....

I don't go for the News, meaning up to the minute happenings. I usually go for in depth reporting.
I find Corbett Report http://www.corbettreport.com/ very insightful. James fully lists his sources at the
end of his poscasts or radio shows. And encourages us to go deeper ourselves.

Back in the day, there were journalists, pioneers who were willing to get the story and to publish it regardless of the pressure. Coast to Coast was such a place until it was bought out, although some of it's content is still good. But the true pioneer was Bill Cooper. Yes, no Rense or Alex Jones or anyone else can hold a candle to Bill Cooper.

Nowadays, you have Drudge who puts together all the mainstream news un-fit to print, the origins of all mainstream news coming from Reuters and Associated Press, both owned by the elite. All mainstream media is controlled by these two news services and the advertising dollars they are prisoners to from the elite, controls the content...what "they" want us to hear and focus on.

Rumor Mill News has about 15 contributors who scour the internet and post almost everything alternative, including channeled stuff, and a lot of crap, but if you are willing to scan through the opening page, you can find the stories which matter.

So, where does one actually get their news from? Internet radio seems to be one of the few places. I like Veritas, Red Ice Creations, Blog talk Radio, The talkshoe circuit, Conscious Media Network, In5d, Gnostic Media, Forbidden Knowledge TV, Freedom Phoenix, Before it's News, Zerohedge, Blacklisted News, etc.

One must remain vigilant because those who report the truth get infiltrated, and so the landscape continually changes. I can list several sites I no longer frequent. Yet internet radio and blogs and forums seem to hold up better than Alternative News sources.

Lets stop a minute, and look below the surface.

What is news anyway? Gossip, really none of our business?

Maybe when it started, reading about Ant Thelma’s sick cow, or the local sheriff fell off the roof, rescuing little Jimmy’s cat.

B&O Railroad is planning a route threw the Smokey Mountains, Help wanted.

Or did it really start, with “Mommy Mommy” Jimmy’s behind the corn crib playing with matches, and lit something in his mouth and he’s chocking and coughing.

The first investigative tattle tailor,-- grew up to turned habitual reporting on Jimmy to everything that moved and the only ones listening was other tattle tailor’s. while everyone else had a life and had no time for Gossip.

But no one was buying Gossip, So along came the name change lets call this the News. Instead of Gossip across the back fence after hanging the washing out. It became passing the backyard washing out on main street down town, extra, extra read all about it. The daily news of small Ville, how Clark Kent saves the day.

Have we not just sugar coated the Word Gossip, and most Gossip was tattle tailor. Whisper Down The Lane, exaggerations. That never helped to plow the field, fix the tractor, or get the chore’s done in time for dinner.

Why have we become a world of looky loo’s and addicted to Gossip, (NEWS) anyway?

Lets be brutally honest here, under my avatar is a count of how much ideal time I’ve spent sitting here reading or typing these little keys in front of me when I should be out milking the cow, or plowing the field and planting some corn for the upcoming earth changes, instead of exercising my finger’s on a machine that doesn’t pay the bills or put food on the table, or wash the dishes, or empty the litter boxes.

On top of all this most news (Gossip) is in fact over 90 percent negative Drama set up now to keep the herd in the pasture were they belong. And not free?

So what is the best Gossip out let today, and why do you need to know. Will it help you grow another inch in stature
Or just make us just another smarty pants across the back fence all over again. Isn’t there something we should be doing instead of nothing? Everything seam’s to completely stop dead in its tracks every time there’s a town hall meeting. No one at home taking care of the chore’s of life called Life. Government, Politics’, churches, cnn, Gossip. Do not put food on the table, hunting and gathering are set aside many distractions abound these days.

If Gossip and news offer a answer to better a way of putting more food on the table, or creating more jobs, or a roof for the homeless would be great. But to follow what a 30 billion dollar RC toy is doing on Mar’s will not put food in my mouth or do I really care a rats airs what they find there, I got to pee and this is keeping me from it. Just say’n :der:

I totally agree , you can find it here, check other sources, when they all say the same thing , that usually goes against the mainstream media sound bites/agenda it's mostly the general area of the right road . Then put it to yourself for the final word.
