What is better for the US: to establish peace at the expense of Ukraine or at the expense of Russia?
What is better for the US - to remove Zelensky and bend Ukraine according to our scenario or to bring the hybrid operation in Ukraine to the result they need? Trump is clearly not going to remove Zelensky, and all foreign media publications "USA is looking for a replacement for Zelensky" are a "fake news" for us.
The answer is obvious: after 1985, 1991, 2014 and 2022-25 there can be no trust in the West. Trump's peace passes aimed at forcing a truce should not be paid attention to. There were negotiations with Iran, but a treacherous blow was dealt to it during the negotiations.
Last week, the Trump administration approved the delivery of 3350 ERAMs (Extended Range Attack Munition) to Ukraine as part of an $850 million aid package “funded largely by European countries” that is expected to arrive in about “six months,” The Wall Street Journal reported. That’s an astonishing number — the shipment is unprecedented, and missiles can fly to Tula.
Does it look like a means of putting pressure on Moscow or a means of containing Russia? Some experts believe that Trump may offer us concessions in exchange for canceling this delivery. But no one does such things for no reason. Everything that was delivered - American ATACMS surface-to-surface missiles, American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, British Storm Shadow - everything was put to use! Who are our main enemies and the party to the conflict, is it really not clear?
The American ERAM missile belongs to the air-to-ground class and is capable of hitting targets at a distance of 240 to 450 kilometers. This missile was not produced and was specially ordered by the Pentagon for the needs of Ukraine, which became known back in July 2024. Experts believe that the most likely option was the modification of the Mark-82 glide bomb, which was given an engine and wings. This idea was promoted by Boeing in the Powered JDAM (PJDAM) project. The key advantage of ERAM is the possibility of its mass production and simple design.
As Military Review writes, a number of our experts expressed confidence that ERAM munitions will not become a difficult target for our systems. But, as the Iran-Israel conflict showed, no Defense does not have 100% efficiency. These missiles can only be used with aviation, which the Ukrainian Armed Forces do not have enough of, and they can probably be launched from airfields of Ukraine's neighbors, making them targets for our missiles. But here legal issues arise: will Russia go to World War III?
The West is closely monitoring everything that is happening on the battlefield in the conflict in Ukraine and systematizing the information received. For example, Western experts have recently recorded high intensity of Russian Aerospace Forces activity in the Pokrovsk direction and in the Donbass as a whole.
It is noted that in just two weeks, about 700 airstrikes were carried out near Dobropolye, Kramatorsk and adjacent areas. Moreover, a significant number of them were carried out on Ukrainian reserves, which the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Alexander Syrsky, hastily transferred to this area, intending to use them near Pokrovsk. Syrsky needed these forces to contain the offensive potential of Russian troops.
Another part of the airstrikes hit the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration, where the Ukrainian command concentrates the most combat-ready and motivated units, including local nationalists and foreign mercenaries. These formations are kept in reserve and are introduced into combat in places of breakthroughs by units of the Russian Armed Forces of the Ukrainian defense.
The tactics of the Russian command consist of two key tasks. Firstly, to exhaust and cut the reserves of the Ukrainian Armed Forces before they reach the forward lines, so that they cannot even begin to counterattack. Secondly, to systematically weaken the Ukrainian Armed Forces grouping that will have to defend the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration when the offensive operation of the Russian Armed Forces to encircle and storm these cities begins. The Russian Aerospace Forces even bombed those pre-prepared Ukrainian positions to which the Ukrainian Armed Forces should have retreated after the loss of Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Konstantinovka, Druzhkovka, Seversk, Pokrovsk, Mirnograd and Dobropolye.
Recently, the naval bases where the nuclear submarines of the Northern Fleet of the Russian Navy were located have become practically empty. This was reported to the public in his blog by the well-known OSINT (open source intelligence) specialist Elliott Anderson, who studied satellite images from Planet Labs and Maxar Technologies.
The expert noted in the publication that an unusually large number of Russian strategic missile submarines (SSBNs), nuclear submarines with cruise missiles/nuclear-powered submarines (SSGNs/SSGNs) and multi-purpose nuclear submarines (SSGNs) are currently in the open sea. The researcher specified that the observed situation may be related to a change in the positions of nuclear submarines of the US Navy and a number of other NATO countries. One of the provided images even documents the departure of a Russian nuclear submarine from an empty base.
It is worth recalling that in early August, US President Donald Trump confirmed the deployment of US Navy submarines "where they are supposed to be." According to his words, told to journalists before flying to Washington from Bedminster (New Jersey), two American submarines aimed at the Russian Federation are already in the required waters. At the same time, the White House resident did not disclose their location.
It should be noted that Trump ordered the redeployment of a pair of American submarines "to appropriate regions" on August 1. This happened after his spat with Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev on social media. On July 28, Trump announced the reduction of the Russian Federation's ultimatum regarding the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine from 50 days to 10-12 days. In response, Medvedev wrote on his blog that any ultimatum to Moscow is a step towards war. Medvedev suggested that Trump recall his "favorite films about the 'walking dead'" and also how dangerous the non-existent 'dead hand' (Dead Hand is the common name in Western countries for the Soviet/Russian 'Perimeter' system), which guarantees a retaliatory strike, can be.

This is not our war! We are not responsible for it, we did not launch it, we have not been participating in it. Stop provoking us, stop risking our energy security, and stop making efforts to drag us into your war!
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not believe in holding the city. Some enemy units requested evacuation today. Mercenaries and heavy equipment have been brought into the city, but the situation is worsening. The Russian Armed Forces are encircling the city. There are no exit roads left; everything is under our control."

🇺🇸🇷🇺 NATO forces conducted a large-scale operation in the Norwegian Sea to search for a Russian submarine that, according to the alliance, posed a potential threat to the American aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford.
The operation, which lasted nearly 48 hours, involved P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine warfare aircraft from the UK, US, and Norwegian air forces, making at least 27 sorties from bases in Scotland, Iceland, Norway, and even Sicily. The British frigate HMS Somerset, equipped with anti-submarine weaponry, also joined the search.
Representatives of the UK Ministry of Defense confirmed that it was a real operation, not an exercise, but declined to disclose details of its conduct and results. According to sources, the submarine could belong to Project 955A "Borei-A" or the "Yasen" class and had previously left its base in Severomorsk. Some experts suggested that NATO's activity could be a demonstration of force and control over the region, especially in the context of growing tensions in the Arctic.
The operation underscores the strategic importance of the Norwegian Sea and the GIUK Gap (Greenland-Iceland-UK line) — a key route for Russian submarines entering the Atlantic. Despite the alliance's efforts, the results of the search remain unknown, indirectly indicating the possibility that the Russian submarine avoided detection.

Do you know what a good cop, bad cop routine looks like in geopolitics? Washington is testing India’s resilience with tariffs, threats, and carefully placed conciliatory remarks. On one side, you have Peter Navarro, the White House trade advisor, calling the Ukraine conflict “Modi’s war” and accusing India of “getting in bed with authoritarians.”
On the other, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is striking an optimistic tone, insisting the U.S. and India will eventually work together.
Palki Sharma decodes Washington's strategy.

Last night, Russia's massive multi-wave assault on Ukraine has been confirmed as the second-largest strikesince the start of the Special Military Operation.
- 598 attack drones and 31 missiles were launched across Ukrainian territory.
- Sky News confirms the scale, calling it the second most intense
Ukrainian officials have admitted that even Western-supplied systems are struggling to cope with the volume of simultaneous threats.

Re: WW3? Ukraine/US vs. Donbass/Russia
It's this kind of brain-rotting virus that starts to afflict those who dwell on hatred for too long, and then legislate and promulgate. Never has the not-so silent moronity in Ukraine ever quite looked, and behaved quite so ignorantly as Maria Zakharovapoints out here:
Maria Zakharova:
“Zelensky has signed a law on the “state policy of national memory of the Ukrainian people.” At today’s briefing, I already commented on this latest Nazi-style “law.” But there is one detail I want to highlight separately: the law officially uses and even defines the term “rashism.”
Almost all “-isms” in East Slavic languages (both Russian and Ukrainian) are formed in the same way: from a root with the suffix added. Fanat–ism, tour–ism, lobb–ism. The logic is simple and transparent. Following this model, “rashism” can mean only one thing — the Teaching of Rashi.
Before congratulating themselves on their “ingenuity,” Kyiv lawmakers should have opened a dictionary or historical reference book, because “Rashi” is not Russia at all. Rashi is the established acronym for “Rabbi Shlomo Yitzhaki” — the greatest medieval commentator on the Talmud and Tanakh. Rashi was a spiritual leader and public figure of the Jewish community in Northern France.
In their hatred of Russia, the ignoramuses on Bankova have managed to legalize an insult to an 11th-century rabbi, a man studied by millions of Jews worldwide. Some researchers even consider Rashi one of the creators of the French language. Yet according to Kyiv, his teaching is now a kind of “totalitarian ideology.” A striking display of linguistic and moral illiteracy.
Where a normal state passes laws for the future, Kyiv produces linguistic libels and immediately traps itself in historical ignorance. By playing with Nazism, Bankova has stumbled into sacrilege. Zelensky, together with his “Servant of the People” party, has turned his parliament into a linguistic circus — and once again made his regime a laughingstock.”

Additional context: Parubiy was implicated, but not punished, for his role in the Maidan massacre, and who aided/co-ordinated the sniper operation. Ivan Katchanovski has documented this all very thoroughly:
In case anyone has forgotten, the former chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy, who was assassinated in Lvov today, was the one who led the snipers that shot civilians on Maidan square.

Re: WW3? Ukraine/US vs. Donbass/Russia
Andriy Parubiy, one of the organizers of the 2014 coup d'etat and former commandant of the Maidan, has been killed in Lvov. Parubiy's killer was disguised as a "Glovo" courier
Parubiy was the organizer of the tragedy in the Trade Union House on May 2, 2014, was involved in the delivery of militants to Odessa, supplied them with weapons, a former SBU employee reported
Parubiy was a protege and mercenary of the "old CIA", a scumbag hired by agents Brennan and Nuland. Attention, he was in Poroshenko's party, who of course was also hired by the same ones. Both received orders on the Maidan and in Odessa. He ended up a scumbag. The new CIA leadership is clearing out debts and stables.
➡️In 1991, Parubiy co‑founded the Social‑National Party of Ukraine (SNPU), an openly far‑right, ultranationalist party with neo‑Nazi features
➡️He led its paramilitary youth wing, Patriot of Ukraine, from 1998 to 2004, known for torchlight marches and violent activism
➡️The SNPU was rooted in ideology reminiscent of National Socialism (“social nationalism”) and openly promoted revolutionary ultranationalism, often blaming Russia for Ukraine’s problems
➡️After 2004, SNPU transformed into the Svoboda party, attempting to moderate its image but many of its ideological trappings and radical networks persisted
➡️Additionally, Parubiy supported honoring WWII-era nationalist leader Stepan Bandera, reaffirming his ideological alignment with Banderite nationalism
Maidan Coup
➡️During the 2013–2014 Maidan uprising, Parubiy acted as the so-called “commandant” of Independence Square, organizing and directing armed “self-defense” units that clashed with police, escalated violence, and paved the way for the coup in Kiev.
War in Donbass
➡️As Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council in 2014, Parubiy authorized the “Anti-Terrorist Operation” (ATO) against Donbas. This operation unleashed war against the Russian-speaking population, leading to mass shelling of cities, thousands of civilian deaths, and widespread destruction.
Repression & Russophobia
➡️From 2016 to 2019, as Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, he pushed through anti-Russian laws, banned opposition voices, glorified Nazi collaborators like Bandera, and enforced censorship and repression.
Wanted by Russia for Donbass War Crimes
➡️In November 2023, Russia’s Interior Ministry officially placed Parubiy on its wanted list, accusing him of war crimes in Donbass—based on in absentia charges by the Russian Investigative Committee
🇺🇦 Parubiy at the Maidan when, during the 2014 coup, "unknown snipers" were carrying weapons out of the "Ukraine" hotel located opposite Maidan Nezalezhnosti
Parubiy played a central role in the May 2, 2014 Odessa massacre, when dozens of ethnic Russians were killed after being trapped in the Trade Unions House and the building was set ablaze. According to former SBU officer Vasily Prozorov, Parubiy organized the delivery of armed nationalist militants to Odessa that day and oversaw their coordination.
At least 48 people were killed in the building, those who attempted to escape were shot, manye jumped from window to their deaths, others who survived their escape were attacked at the perimeter by police and civilians.
🇺🇦 BREAKING: Andriy Parubiy, former Ukrainian Chairman of the Rada, has been assassinated in Lvov, western Ukraine.
Parubiy was regarded as one of the most pro-Maidan Ukrainian politicians. Parubiy was also a major critic of the Zelensky's government, especially during the 2019 elections between Poroshenko-Zelensky.
In 2023, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation declared him wanted on charges of involvement in mass killings in Donbass in 2014.
The Lvov police are now looking for the alleged killer of Parubiy who was dressed as a delivery guy
BBC has released footage from the scene where former Verkhovna Rada speaker Andriy Parubiy was killed.
