- Russia Message To Israel!:
Some of Israel’s actions during this war put Russia in a tight position, and Russia is not happy about that. Russia has sent a strong message to Israel to stop its aggression and respect international law or face the consequences.
How serious is Russia’s message? What has Israel been doing that could involve Russia, and how does it affect Russia’s interests and goals in the region?
In this video, we will explore how Russia just gave Israel a serious warning and what it means for the future of the Middle East.
Re: Israel vs Palestine/Lebanon/Iran/Yemen/Syria: a New Middle East War
As per the highlighted paragraph below, it appears that Israeli Finance minister Bezale Smotrich is suggesting that 1) Israel’s goal is to reduce the Gaza population to 200,000 and 2) because it’s easier to deport 200,000 people as opposed to 2 millions.
So that’s why Israel is methodically bombing civilians in Gaza?
How could anyone be so devoid of conscience???
And how can the USA presume to decide who will govern Gaza. The Gazans themselves should decide that.

US rejects Gaza ethnic cleansing proposal
A State Department spokesman insisted that the enclave “will remain Palestinian land”
January 2, 2024
The US State Department condemned Israeli proposals to remove the Palestinian inhabitants of Gaza en masse in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
State Department spokesman Matthew Miller explicitly rejected recent comments from Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir supporting the mass deportation of Palestinians as “inflammatory and irresponsible.”
Noting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other members of his cabinet have denied that it was official government policy to resettle Gaza’s Palestinian inhabitants, Miller demanded the ministers back away from such rhetoric “immediately.”
“Gaza is Palestinian land and will remain Palestinian land, with Hamas no longer in control of its future and no terror groups able to threaten Israel,” he continued.
On Monday, Ben Gvir described “encouraging the residents of Gaza to emigrate” outside the enclave as “the right, just, moral, and humane solution,” explaining that it would allow Israelis living in border communities to return home.
He doubled down on his comments following Miller’s statement, writing in a post on Telegram, “I greatly appreciate the USA, but with all due respect…we will do what is good for the state of Israel.”
Smotrich made similar comments in an interview with Army Radio on Sunday. “What needs to be done in the Gaza Strip is to encourage emigration,” he said. “If there are 100,000 or 200,000 Arabs in Gaza and not 2 million Arabs, the entire discussion on the day after [the war] will be totally different.”
While an official with Netanyahu’s office subsequently told the Associated Press that “contrary to false allegations, Israel does not seek to displace the population in Gaza,” instead merely looking to “enable those individuals who wish to leave to do so,” a government document leaked in November called for the mass relocation of all 2.3 million of the territory’s residents to Egypt’s Sinai peninsula – a plan that has alarmed Palestinians and Egyptians alike.
The US State Department has repeatedly called for Gaza to be run by the Palestinian Authority, which currently administers the West Bank and ran Gaza prior to Hamas' 2007 election victory, as a prelude to full Palestinian statehood. Israel has openly opposed a two-state solution.
At least 1.8 million of Gaza’s 2.3 million inhabitants have been displaced since Israel began bombing the territory following Hamas’ October 7 cross-border attack, which left 1,200 Israelis dead. Many residential neighborhoods have been completely flattened, with vital civilian infrastructure such as the hospital system virtually destroyed.
Over 21,800 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli bombs since the start of the war, according to the enclave’s health ministry, with upwards of 56,000 more seriously injured. Thousands more are reportedly missing beneath the rubble.

Palestine SitRep - Hizbullah's Response to Assassinations by Israel in Lebanon
The war on Gaza has not proceeded the way the Netanyahu government had planned. Fierce resistance continues and Israeli Occupation Forces are taking relatively high losses.
Haaretz is reporting (archived) that the military leadership does not agree with the government plans:A large, almost unbridgeable disparity exists between the understanding that the Israel Defense Forces are already in the midst of deployment for the third stage of the war in Gaza, and what the political decision makers are projecting outwardly.
Five brigades, mostly consisting of reservists, have been pulled from Gaza and will be demobilized. But the military expects the war to continue throughout the year if on a lower level.
The Israeli government plans to ethnically cleanse the Gaza strip. It has held talks with Congo and other African countries to take in the involuntary refugees. Bribes will flow and some governments will agree to take in whoever comes.
Pushing Palestinians out by making all living in Gaza unbearable is the underlying tactic to achieve that goal.
The U.S. government is publicly opposed to those plans but does nothing to prevent their realization.
Netanyahu has recognized that a victory in Gaza, and the dismantling of all of Hamas, is not really possible. But he needs a victory to keep a chance to survive in the government and to not go to jail for the various cases of taking bribes.
He attempts to achieve this by expanding the war into Lebanon. Several border provocations have so far not incited Hezbullah to respond with a larger war.
But yesterday an Israeli drone assassinated a leader of the Palestinian Hamas in Beirut:The Deputy Chief of the Political Bureau of the Hamas movement, Saleh al-Arouri, was martyred on Tuesday evening, as a result of an attack that targeted the Southern Suburb of Beirut. Lebanon's National News Agency reported that "an Israeli drone targeted an office of the Hamas movement in Msharafieh" while "ambulances reached the area to transport casualties."
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that an Israeli drone targeted the building with three missiles, resulting in the martyrdom of six individuals.
Saleh al-Arouri had been involved in hostage negotiations in Qatar with Israel.
In August last year Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah had publicly announced that any Israeli assassination in Lebanon, no matter of whom, would be responded to in kind. He can not let yesterday's event pass without responding. Israel would otherwise feel free to assassinate more and more people in Lebanon.
Today, at 16:00 UTC, Nasrallah is expected to give a speech. This was originally planned as a commemoration of the assassination in 2020 of the Iranian General Qassam Soleimani and the Iraqi resistance leader Abu Mahdi al Muhandis by U.S. forces. PressTV will have live coverage of the speech. Nasrallah will surely include a response to yesterday's attack.
Hizbullah must respond carefully to not give Netanyahu a reason for a wider attack on Lebanon. On the other side the response must be strong enough and soon enough to give Netanyahu some trouble.
But what kind of operation he will chose to do is yet unknown. I for one expect an unexpected but serious surprise in a direction that Israel has not foreseen.

Escalating tensions in Lebanon: Netanyahu’s Strategy to Burn the Middle East
Israel’s role and fingerprints in the assassination of key Hamas figures in Lebanon have become increasingly evident. Among those targeted were Saleh Al-Arouri, the deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau, and other prominent figures in the al-Qassam Brigades, such as Samir Fandi and Azzam Al-Aqraa, who have long been on Israel’s list of targeted assassinations. These actions resulted not only in their deaths but also in the loss of three Lebanese lives. This breach of the long-standing rules of engagement that Hezbollah has enforced as a defence and deterrent against such assassinations and violations appears to be a desperate attempt by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to maintain his grip on power. This tactical “victory” comes in the wake of his failed strategic goals in Gaza to defeat Hamas and free all Israeli prisoners following almost three months of war on Gaza and its inhabitants.
This situation raises critical questions about the possible direction of this escalation. Is it possible that these assassinations will lead to more than the intense border bombardments that Israel has been able to withstand? Could we see a resumption of target assassinations against a wide range of groups in Lebanon, including Palestinians, Yemenis, Iraqis, Iranian leaders and Hezbollah itself? The complexity and volatility of the situation suggest a precarious path ahead, with implications that could extend far beyond the immediate region if Israel’s objective is to enlarge the front of the war.
Three years ago, on the same night of 2 January, the United States carried out significant target assassinations that resulted in the deaths of Major General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis. The US believed this action would weaken the resistance against its presence in the Middle East and against its ally, Israel. However, the impact of such operations on the capabilities of resistance movements (and on a country like Iran) is complex, as these groups often do not depend solely on a single leader. They typically operate with a flexible, flat and horizontal leadership structure, unlike a traditional, pyramidical and hierarchical one, and are aware of the constant risks faced by their members, including the possibility of assassination.
In this context, what Israel did aligns with its previous actions against Palestinian, Lebanese, and Iranian leaders, aiming for tactical and media victories. Yet, the resistance movements’ operational structures and strategies are designed to withstand the loss of leaders, incorporating the potential for such losses into their daily planning.

War with Hezbollah to be limitless, extremely costly: Sayyed Nasrallah
Martyr Sheihk Saleh al-Arouri was a great leader in the liberation struggle, as he spent his entire life up until the night of his martyrdom fighting, resisting, and working toward the cause, even spending years in captivity for his actions, Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Wednesday.
Speaking on the fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of the former commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) elite Quds Force unit, Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, and the commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the Hezbollah leader praised and lamented both Resistance leaders.
"Hajj Qassem Soleimani was striving to achieve self-sufficiency for all Resistance movements so that they could rely on their capabilities," Sayyed Nasrallah said.
"Hajj Soleimani was a pivotal figure in linking and coordinating between the various parties to the Axis of Resistance," the Resistance leader added. This axis, he said, "agrees on a clear strategic vision, wherein both enemies and allies are defined and the goals are clear."
"In the Axis of Resistance, no party dictates anything to another party, and each individual party makes its decisions in a manner consistent with the strategic vision and the interest of its country," Sayyed Nasrallah said. "There are no slaves: There are only leaders and martyred leaders who create victories for their people."
The Axis of Resistance, he stressed, faced its most dangerous challenge over the past few months. "When we see the magnitude of the accomplishments made thus far, we will grow more satisfied and thankful for our great sacrifices."
Talking about Operation al-Aqsa Flood, launched by the Palestinian Resistance on October 7 against the Israeli occupation, the Hezbollah leader underlined that one of its most important accomplishments made throughout the operation has been "the foiling of the Israeli attempts to push the Palestinian people to the point of exhaustion and desperation so that they abandon their cause."
Another accomplishment made through Operation al-Aqsa Flood, Sayyed Nasrallah said, has been the increased popular support for the Resistance and the armed struggle among the Palestinian people and the Arab and Islamic worlds as a whole.
The Operation also managed to publicize the truth about the Israeli occupation, he added, wherein the image of "Israel" that Western media and some Arab regimes helped polish was shown as fake.
He also hailed October 7 as "a serious blow that severely damaged the normalization efforts," and also a blow to the Israeli occupation's declared strategic deterrence, "which they have said they are currently working on restoring."
"The United States was exposed" through Operation al-Aqsa Flood, Sayyed Nasrallah said. "It destroyed the public image the United States has been trying to promote for itself, and it showed its true, horrendous colors."
Multi-front confrontation
The leader of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon stressed that when the Lebanese Resistance opened the southern front against the Israeli occupation, "it was not deterred. Today, it has grown more valiant and ready to take action."
The Israeli settlers, due to all that is taking place on the ground, have grown to "lack trust for the [Israeli] army, security apparatuses, and politicians," and even after the Israeli occupation spent three months in Gaza, "not one individual in the Zionist entity is claiming to see victory on the horizon."
"If Israel loses its security, it cannot stay, for its connection to the land is a hoax; it is false," Sayyed Nasrallah said.
"[Operation] al-Aqsa Flood and all that is taking place on the numerous fronts disproves the claim of a 'safe-haven' based on which the Jews migrated to occupied Palestine," he added.
"The land of Palestine from the river to the sea is solely for the Palestinian people and no one else," Sayyed Nasrallah stressed.
International law impotent
The situation in Gaza, the Hezbollah leader said, "proved that the international community, international bodies, and international law are incapable of protecting anyone."
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed that the experience of Gaza and the people of Gaza proved that "only if you are strong do you force the world to respect you," adding: "The world does not defend the weak [...] it is only one's power, one's missiles and rockets, capabilities and bravery that defend one."
Operation al-Aqsa Flood, Sayyed Nasrallah underlined, put the Israeli occupation on the path of demise; "The Arab leaders should try to preserve their thrones."
"Lebanon swiftly entering the battle deprived the Israeli enemy of the element of surprise," the Resistance leader underlined. "The most important message sent by the Resistance on October 8 and 9 is that it is fierce and brave. It is not deterred and does not think twice about defending its nation."
Today, he added, Hezbollah is fighting on the front while taking into account Lebanon's interests, which is causing the Resistance movement to pay the price with the blood of its Resistance fighters.
However, Sayyed Nasrallah underlined, in the case of a full-scale war being declared on Lebanon, "We will have no limits, no restrictions, no rules of engagement, or boundaries."
"Whoever might think about going to war with us will regret such a decision. War with us will be tremendously costly," he stressed. "If war is declared against us, national interest will require us to fight the war until the very end," Sayyed Nasrallah concluded.
'Israel' aggressed southern suburbs of Beirut
Talking about the Israeli occupation's assassination of Hamas politburo deputy chief Saleh al-Arouri, Sayyed Nasrallah underlined that the crime committed by "Israel" was an act of aggression on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
"The assassination of Sheikh Saleh al-Arouri is a flagrant, dangerous crime that will not go unanswered," he stressed.
The Deputy Chief of the Political Bureau of the Hamas movement, Saleh al-Arouri, was martyred on Tuesday evening, as a result of an attack that targeted the Southern Suburb of Beirut.
Finally, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah offered his condolences to all the martyrs in the fight for liberation, from Gaza to the occupied West Bank and Iraq, Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon, underlining that they were all martyred on the path to al-Quds.
