"Israel" protested with the #Vatican after Pope Francis' deputy described what is happening in #Gaza as "carnage" resulting from a disproportionate Israeli military response.

A day earlier, Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin reiterated the "request that Israel's right to defense, which has been invoked to justify this operation, be proportional, and certainly with 30,000 deaths, it is not."

"I believe we are all outraged by what is happening, by this carnage, but we must have the courage to move forward and not lose hope," Parolin said, adding that "we must find other ways to solve the problem of Gaza, the problem of #Palestine."

A Wednesday editorial in the Vatican's official newspaper, L'Osservatore Romano, reinforced the message.

"No one can define what is happening in the (Gaza) Strip as 'collateral damage'... The right to defense... cannot justify this carnage," it said.

🇱🇧⚔️🇮🇱 In a statement, Hezbullah announced attacking Qiryat Shmona with tens of 122 mm rockets in an initial response to the Sawana and Nabatieh, Lebanon, massacres.

The attack targeted both the settlement itself and military targets, where the Jewish army was hiding its vehicles and soldiers inside settler homes and around the street as seen in this video.

His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, participated today in the million-man march in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana’a, under the slogan, “Our squares are jihad... We are steadfast with Gaza until victory.”

During the march, President Al-Mashat greeted the gathered masses and, through them, the great Yemeni people, the people of faith and wisdom. He said, “In this regard, I stand proud of the position of our great Yemeni people in all their official and popular paths, as we have promised you in all arenas.”

He added, "This is not strange to you, as you are the descendants of the fathers of injustice, and this is our firm official and popular position, in which we proceed towards our oppressed brothers in Gaza from a standpoint of faith, morals, and values, and we cannot retreat from this position, regardless of the challenges and results."

President Al-Mashat addressed the Yemeni Armed Forces, “You are saving the face of this disgraced nation.” He stressed that whoever attacks Yemen will be met with a response, whatever the results.

He pointed out that the armed forces take their position on the basis of Islam and the laws of Arabism, after others have, unfortunately, neglected them.

He continued, "I say to our great Yemeni army, that the Yemeni people stand by your side and support you."

President Al-Mashat, the evil trio that attacks our brothers in Gaza and in most Islamic countries, called for an immediate halt to the aggression and the lifting of the siege on Gaza, as that is the solution and the only option, no matter how much aggression or escalation they carry out here or there.

He expressed his thanks to the people of the great Yemeni people for their movement, their widespread exit, and their steadfastness in their position.. He said, “You, people of faith and wisdom, are a crown on the head, and we are proud of you among the nations. At the invitation of the Commander, you fill the squares, the squares of positions on the fronts, and the squares of demonstrations.”

His Excellency the President reiterated the stability of the position and decision, regardless of the challenges and results.

He added, "I say to you, people of faith and wisdom, that you are a people worthy of their leader, and our leader is the symbol of the free people of this nation, and no one is worthy of him except you, O great Yemeni people."

President Al-Mashat called on the masses of the Yemeni people, with all its components and institutions, to chant the cry against the arrogant people: “God is great, death to America, death to Israel, curse on the Jews, victory for Islam.”

He addressed the American-British-Zionist aggression coalition, saying, “Our decision is firm, and you are the one who started, but you are not the one who ends, and suffice with this message.”

Iran Calls for Emergency OIC Meeting on Israeli Aggression in Rafah

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the plea on Thursday during phone talks with OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha, demanding that Muslim countries "take decisive measures against the recent aggression of the Zionist regime".
Israel is preparing a ground invasion of Gaza's southern city Rafah where more than a million Palestinians have fled since the start of the war on Gaza, with a top UN official warning that it could lead to a “slaughter”.
Amir-Abodollahian expressed deep regret over the situation and condemned the recent Israeli aggression against Rafah, “which has so far led to the martyrdom of a large number of innocent Palestinian women and children”.
He said “further activity and mobility of the international community, especially the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, is important and urgently needed in order to stop these attacks”.
The minister also touched on the dire humanitarian situation in northern Gaza and the severe shortage of basic necessities of life for the residents.
He stressed the need for appropriate and urgent measures to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid, especially food, medicine and pharmaceuticals.
The OIC secretary expressed concern over the situation and condemned continued Israeli attacks on Gaza.
He also welcomed Iran’s proposal to hold an emergency meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and promised to follow up the issue in consultation with the member countries.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been driven into Rafah, seeking shelter in a sprawling makeshift encampment near the Egyptian border.
Australia, Canada and New Zealand were the latest to warn Israel not to launch a ground onslaught against Rafah, issuing a joint statement saying it would be "devastating" for the 1.5 million Palestinians trapped there.
"There is simply nowhere else for civilians to go," they said.
Nevertheless, Israel launched more deadly strikes on southern Gaza on Thursday, after extremist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted he would push ahead with a "powerful" invasion of the overcrowded city of Rafah.
According to Politico, the US has given Israel the green light to kill civilians in Rafah despite public comments from US officials calling for the regime to come up with a plan to protect civilians in the city.
US officials told the Washington-based online political journalism network that the Biden administration was not planning any consequences for Israel if it went ahead with the Rafah invasion.
“No reprimand plans are in the works, meaning Israeli forces could enter the city and harm civilians without facing American consequences,” the report read.
White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby made clear at a press conference on Monday that the US wasn’t thinking about cutting off Israel from military aid if it went ahead with the assault.

Public funding anti-Netanyahu campaign calling for his resignation


A series of ads on billboards and TV stations demonstrate requests for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign, driving him into a state of panic.

After he demanded an investigation by the media to find out who's behind the campaign, the organization has stepped forward.

Known as “Lochamei Kippur”, the organization consists of soldiers who took part in the 1973 "Yom Kippur War," who said that its funding comes from the public.

In a statement on X, the organization said: “Bibi [Netanyahu], you are the head, you are guilty,” adding: “You asked where the campaign funding comes from? Here’s a scoop — from public donations.”

It also claimed that over 70% of the public is “demanding you resign,” as it called for more donations to support it.

Just yesterday, thousands of Israeli settlers took to the streets in both "Tel Aviv" and occupied al-Quds demanding that Netanyahu reach a prisoner swap agreement with the Hamas Resistance movement and hold snap parliamentary elections at once.

The Israeli protests, which have been taking place since the start of the war on Gaza, are calling for an early election as Netanyahu's unpopularity skyrockets due to his neglect of the Israeli settlers taken captive by the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza during October 7's Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.

Haaretz claimed that pressuring Netanyahu to resign is futile and unproductive, adding that Netanyahu believes that there is no chance of his resignation.

The newspaper added that for Netanyahu, his resignation would mean an end to his life, therefore, he should be ousted.

The Israeli political scene has seen intense tensions since Netanyahu retook power in December 2022, as his far-right coalition government took steps to overhaul the occupation's judicial system and attempted to alter the military's conscription law. These steps have led to mass settler protests in occupied Palestine and further highlighted the stark contradictions within the Israeli settler community. For tens of weeks, Israeli demonstrators called for a stop to the government's plans, while Operation Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 revealed the fragility and incompetence of the Israeli occupation forces and the security command.

It is worth noting that Netanyahu has refused to stand accountable for his role in the major security failure, as tensions grow between the Israeli military and political command.
