Mr. John Ramirez served from 1984 to 2009 in the CIA Directorate of Science and Technology, Directorate of Intelligence, and the ODNI National Counterproliferation Center (NCPC). At CIA he was an intelligence analyst and Chief, ELINT Analysis Branch specializing in ballistic missile defense, weapons systems radars, and technical collection operations. At the NCPC he was the SIGINT specialist and the multi-discipline collection requirements strategist. John is a US Navy veteran, 1973 to 1979, in the Electronics Warfare Technician field on board surface ships. John majored in political science and graduated in 1983 from the George Washington University, Washington, DC.

John is a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers and the Central Intelligence Retirees Association.

And one would stop and he would just go, 'Well, what are angels?' And I said, 'Well, I guess angels were considered messengers.' [And he says], 'Well, they're messengers.' So it's a very practical look at the religion type (inaudible) being, and how they applied it, but they weren't religious, you know? I always thought that was really interesting.

"But there was only one of the main, main kind of advisor - that you and I have discussed - where he was the only person that was like, you know... Because I'd always bring up like, in the literature, you kind of have like, you know, you have your Grays, with the big black eyes, you have your Tall Whites that look like, you know, the Greek gods or the angels of the Bible, or whatever. So, there's all these other things that people see, but those are kind of like the two main ones. You have you have Nordic-type good ones, and you have your like, little cloned bad ones.

"But he was the only one that said, 'Well, who created the good ones? You know, who created them? Who are they really?' And that was the only thing that I was like, what I'm hearing because I thought there was some good ones out there (laughs) and he was the only one who was like, 'But who created them? Who are they really? You know, you can't have bug-eyed monsters talking to humans and scaring them. Maybe something that looks more like them is easier to digest?' And I was like, 'Oh God, here we go (laughs).'"
