EPA Releases ‘Everything We Know’ on Contrails and Geoengineering
EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin said many Americans have “urgent and important questions” about weather and climate modification measures and deserve “honesty and transparency.” In response, the agency launched several webpages stating that there is nothing to worry about.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is releasing “everything we know” on weather modification and geoengineering, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin announced Thursday in a video posted on X.
Zeldin said: “Concerned Americans have urgent and important questions about geoengineering and contrails. The American public deserves and expects honesty and transparency from their government when seeking answers. But for years, people who asked questions in good faith were dismissed, even vilified by the media and their own government. That era is over.”
Officials in President Donald Trump’s camp initially celebrated the decision. [RFK, Jr and Margorie Taylor Green even congratulated Zeldin.]
However, Zeldin’s post actually referred to the EPA’s launch of several webpages debunking popular concerns about contrails and geoengineering.
The geoengineering Frequent Questions states,
“The U.S. government is not engaged in any form of outdoor solar geoengineering testing,” or “large-scale deployment” of such technology.
But Dane Wigington said it best:
Dane Wigington of GeoengineeringWatch criticized Zeldin, writing on his website, “EPA head, Lee Zeldin, is engaged in a pitiful attempt at damage control due to the rapidly growing awareness of the weather warfare raging in our skies.”
Wigington said: “Zeldin is reading his carefully crafted script claiming he is going to provide ‘total transparency’ in regard to our government’s knowledge of geoengineering. Really, Mr. Zeldin? Should we consider the Epstein files as an example of your definition of ‘total transparency’?”

There are now several detailed videos about this, many of the expert analysts quite shocked. The summary is that the fuel supply switches were manually cut off very soon after takeoff, first one and then the other a second later. (This could not be done accidentally.)
One of the pilots asked the other: "Why did you do that?"
The other responded that he didn't do it.
Then the switches were immediately toggled back to 'Run' (= on). The switches, recovered from the wreckage, showed they were indeed in the 'Run' (on) position. But the problem there is that in this situation the engines take some 10 seconds or so to restart — and that wasn't enough time to pull the plane out of the inevitable crash.
This was NOT stated in the report, but at first sight it looks to have been a murder-suicide by one of the pilots. What's eerie about the whole thing is that one pilot, when immediately asked, told the other that he had NOT touched the switches.
Many of the YT comments, informed or not, are saying that they're not buying the story.

Sounds fishy. I wonder if this was a cyber-hijacking -- someone took remote control of the plane and crashed it deliberately. Did the manifest include important or powerful people? In the whacky world of conspiracy theories, 'assassination by plane crash' is by no means the most far-fetched.

According to Juan Browne, on the blancolirio Youtube channel, it is not absolutely 100% certain that this was not accidental.
(There's a difference between "certain beyond a reasonable legal or moral doubt", and "absolutely certain beyond all known laws of physics.")
Operating those fuel switches is not just a push up or a push down like must lever switches. Rather there is a latching collar. To move a fuel switch, you first grip the collar with your fingers and pull the collar out a fraction of an inch. Then you can move the fuel lever up (on) or down (fuel off), and then let the spring loaded latching collar reset.
There was an advisory some years ago recommending (not mandating) that airlines check these latching collars on some of these models of Boeing aircraft. I didn't hear the details, but apparently those latches didn't always latch into the perfect position desired.
The fuel switches are in a location, right below the main throttle levers for each engine, where it would be theoretically possible in rough weather to bump them. If a violently downward moving hand swiped both switches, and both their latches failed, then ... bad news. It's practically impossible that you'd move both switches this way ... typical hand positions and guards should prevent that from being more than an extremely remote possibility ... and the spring loaded latches handle that case easily, but I (and more importantly, Juan) couldn't rule that out with absolute 100% mathematical, physical, legal certainty.
There was no sign I've seen of the sharp, sudden, unexpected, turbulence just after the aircraft had rotated and lift off, but was still over the far end of the runway, when this happened (as can be determined from when the ram air turbine (RAT) dropped down from the fuselage, which the RAT does immediately anytime that both fuel switches are turned off while in the air. That RAT was visible while the plane was still clearing the runway.
Juan expects that much investigation will occur into the "mental state" of the pilots. Juan was being judicious in his choice of words ... but the mental state of the pilots was certainly his key concern, not the potentially imperfect latches on the fuel switches.
The comments in the following Youtube video from seasoned pilots who have long worked with such switches is that they have never seen them fail this way, so as to move just from being bumped. And the chance that two of them would both thus fail, one second apart, is almost infinitely less than the chance that a human hand deliberately flipped first one switch, then the other, in a maneuver that hand has done thousands of time, when shutting down engines after landing and taxiing to the gate.

I don't think a computer could move those switches. Those switches are robust mechanics, and their movement caused two distinct immediate responses: (1) one pilot asking the other why he moved the switches, and (2) the RAT turbine generator dropping down from the fuselage.
... well ... or ... if it was such sabotage, then perhaps the "computer" was programmed to:- Record a false data record that the first switch was down (fuel off).
- Actually cut fuel to the first engine.
- Record another false data record that the second switch was down (fuel off).
- Actually cut fuel to the second engine.
- Signal the RAT to drop from the fuselage.
- Reliably expect many cockpit warning lights and sounds from other failing systems.
- Reliably expect the pilots to swing into emergency mode: Mayday, Mayday, Mayday!!
- Record a false data record that one switch was back up.
- Record a false record that the other switch was back up.
Yeah, I suppose that could be done. Nah - only a conspiracy theory nutcase would be that devious :p

If that other pilot was NOT reacting to actually looking at or feeling the fuel switches, but rather reacting to some other cockpit warning message/light stating the fuel was cut off, that adds a little more support to my cockamamie conspiracy theory that those physical switches were never actually moved.
Or perhaps I left out one detail from my conspiracy scenario ... have the "computer" running this mission also record a faked voice record of that pilot asking the other pilot why he moved the switches.
That would be a good thing to do, if you (the mad schemer behind this job) wanted to absolutely, positively, be sure to convince the investigators that those switches were in the FUEL OFF down positions for those 10 seconds.
