Re: Israel vs Palestine/Lebanon/Iran/Yemen/Syria: a New Middle East War
- This Israeli Politician Must Think We Are Stupid:
- She's confusing Palestinians with terrorists! But Israel does have the right to protect itself from hospital patients.
- Why do International media & others NEED to get Israel's permission to go to Palestine. Why can't they just go to Palestine, it doesn't belong to Israel.
- She is not the exception in Israel. She is the norm. This what the Palestinians have been facing for 75 years. Undercover by western politicians and media.
- The 🇮🇱 occupiers are always offended but ashamed of nothing.
- This is what it would be like to interview an SS officer during WW2. Convinced in own superiority, loyal to her regime, arrogant.
- Never ask a man about his salary, a woman about her age or Israel about its evidence.
- I think journalists interviewing Israeli liars should be stronger in confronting and exposing their lies on TV.
- The worst thing this deputy mayor is a settler because she is British!!
- Who lets a criminal investigate their own crimes? Answer: An accomplice.
- The IDF's commendable ratio of terrorists to civilians killed appears to depend quite heavily on counting dead civilians as terrorists.

205 days of genocide.
The Israeli occupation has murdered 34,454 Palestinians and wounded 77,575 more since October 7 with the sponsorship of the US and its lethal aid to "Israel".
In the past 24 hours, "Israel" has killed 66 Palestinians and injured 138.

Re: Israel vs Palestine/Lebanon/Iran/Yemen/Syria: a New Middle East War
As so many Germans with a conscience have stated since the defeat of the genocidal Nazis (genocidal to Jews, Gypsies, Poles, Russians AND Germans themselves): political Germany has never properly addressed the need for a genuine cleansing of its political conscience (instead re-instating ex-Nazi public servants in various positions (as part of its profound collaboration with the American hegemon): will they now finally understand how this “oversight” has landed them again on the same spot – as collaborators of genocidal policies (in Zionia now, and for a few years in Ukraine)? Such an insight is a necessary prerequisite for the "ethical conversion” in the entire West – and hence also overdue in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom etc. — maybe with the exception of Greece and Italy, where this continuity made so many victims (during the Colonels’ regime, the anni di piombo respectively) that it could not be overlooked or misunderstood..

Wow. Given how much Israeli officials freak out about this over the past 2 days (with Netanyahu for instance commenting it "will not affect Israel's actions"), it seems real.
If it indeed goes through, expect another epic battle between the "Rules-Based Order" and international law.

Joseph Stiglitz, Nobel prize winner and one of the most important Jewish intellectuals in the world, adds his voice to debunk the narrative that pro-Palestinian protests on campuses is antisemitic. He calls it "normal human empathy":
"What a large number of young people are expressing is normal human empathy. They don't want to see people die unnecessarily. And I think the pictures, the fact that tens of thousands of people have died, including lots of children and women, innocent bystanders, in the attack on Gaza, in a very short span of time, has had a horrific impact. And they're saying this is unjust. And it has brought back to the fore that much of the architecture of the world was shaped in a colonial era. And many of these people are from countries that themselves were shaped in a colonial era.
So what I hear, and what's going on, is a real sense of empathy for so many people dying unnecessarily, and outrage at collective punishment, which is unacceptable. And it brings back to the fore reflections on colonialism and its consequences, that remind us that history doesn't just disappear, even if one would like it to."

Got roughed up & tossed out of the White House Correspondents Dinner for holding a sign: '100 journalists killed in Gaza.' Today was supposed to be about Free Speech. Irony much? My partner Tighe is still in pain after security's assault and while this was happening, journalists turned a blind eye, much like they do with the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Shame on them!

Last night's assault left me with more than just a bruise. It's disheartening to witness the dangers faced by anyone who dares to speak out and expose our government's complicity in this genocide, like the ones our students in campuses face every day. But as painful as this bruise may be, it pales in comparison to the injuries and loss of life suffered in Gaza. That's why we can't afford to stay silent. That's why we won't stop fighting until Palestine is free.

Statement on Jill Stein’s arrest at Washington University in St. Louis:
Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, campaign manager Jason Call, and deputy campaign manager Kelly Merrill-Cayer were arrested alongside approximately 100 others - mostly Washington University students - at an encampment set up on Saturday on the university grounds. The demand from the encampment was specifically for the university to divest from Boeing, which manufactures munitions used in the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza at their nearby St. Charles facility. The Stein campaign supports the demands of the students and their peaceful protest and assembly on campus. Student protest for peace and civil liberties has always represented the best part of our collective moral conscience. Solidarity.

Israeli troops refusing to follow commands for Rafah ground invasion
Israeli news broadcaster Channel 12 on Sunday reported that a total of 30 servicemembers in the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) refused to comply with orders to ready the army for a ground invasion of the city of Rafah.
The broadcaster cited fatigue as the primary reason for the refusal, stating that these servicemembers feel unable to continue fighting in Gaza after nearly 7 months of combat.
Forces from the reserve paratrooper company attached to the regular Paratroopers Brigade reportedly received orders to prepare for action in Rafah, Channel 12 states, but they later informed their superiors that they "will not come because they are no longer capable of doing so."
Army officials said they would not force reserve personnel to partake in the invasion, yet their refusal is said to be a clear indication of depleted reserve forces after months of fighting.
Days ago, Channel 7 reported that over a hundred female draftees refused to serve as surveillance soldiers near the separation line with Gaza. Israeli news reports said this was the third draft since October 7 to observe a significant number of refusals to serve in the unit.
Earlier this week, Israel Ziv, the former head of the IOF's Operations Directorate, expressed rejection to any military offensive in Rafah amid the absence of a post-operation governance plan.
He claimed that Hamas was working on a strategic ambush for the IOF which would constitute a "disaster for Israel," noting that the Rafah invasion poses a high risk, one higher than everything the IOF did in Gaza, given the fact that Rafah is a very crowded place and difficult to fight in, as well as the US and Egypt's sensitivity toward it.
Ziv considered the operation "to have a higher risk than anything the army has done in the Strip, given that Rafah is an extremely difficult and crowded place for combat, in addition to Egyptian and US sensitivities towards it."

Earlier this month, Netanyahu claimed that a date for the Rafah aggression had been set, but Security Minister Yoav Gallant later debunked these statements during a visit to Washington, Axios said in a report.
US President Joe Biden's administration has issued multiple calls for the occupation entity to defer a ground offensive in Rafah, unless it presents a feasible plan to evacuate civilians, as "Israel's" global image continues to be tarnished by its ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the regime continues to be engulfed by weekly protests led by the families of captives in Gaza.
While the Qatari-mediated negotiations seem to have reached a stall, questions are still being raised over "Israel's" inability to reach its goals.
An op-ed published by the Israeli newspaper Maariv earlier this month detailed that "Israel should declare the end of the war because it truly lost."

I am pretty sure "they" are the ones doing it.
The Germans I have known gave me very different versions from "official narratives", and, I think, have been aware that literal Nazis and related spinoffs have simply continued in business suits and "technocracy", etc., but unlike me, their country got hit with a tremendous ban hammer. That means whitewashing begins, until you have a new generation that are out-of-touch.
The stripe of politicians maintaining this impossible position is the West, and, all of our countries probably have some survivors who have always seen through this, or most of it. Who knows what the ratios really are. There is still an obstacle that is Stupid, which means it is immune to ethics and conversions. That may work on some followers but the brute slug requires force.
Related to force, for some reason, the headline I noticed has an added factor:
Quote:
In the news site Walla, analyst Ben Caspit wrote that Netanyahu is “under unusual stress” over the prospect of an arrest warrant against him and other Israelis by the UN tribunal in The Hague, which would be a major deterioration in the Zionist entity’s international status.
It would? Does that sound accurate? He is fine with everything but a potential warrant causes someone to observe the irritation?
Is that sensationalized, or does it seem so to anyone else?
The way it works is difficult. There is a likelihood of Stupid reactions:
Quote:
Haaretz analyst Amos Harel reported that the Israeli government is working under the assumption that the ICC’s prosecutor, Karim Khan, may this week issue warrants for the arrest of Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi.
The US, which, like the Zionist regime, is not among the 124 entities that signed the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, is already engaged in the effort to block the arrest warrants, according to Harel.
Netanyahu’s latest public statement about the war said forthcoming decisions by the ICC could set a “dangerous precedent.”
“We will never stop defending ourselves. Whereas decisions of the court in the Hague will not affect Israel’s actions, they would be a dangerous precedent threatening the soldiers and officials of any democracy fighting criminal terrorism and aggression,” he said on Friday.
Is he trying to escape? If you don't sign, that means your country does not have to assist or allow any kind of enforcement. Otherwise this would have happened in the 1950s. He wants to go to Poland or something which means he would get caught.
I am not sure what happens if they issue the warrants and Israel doesn't cooperate. Maybe he thinks the "other government" will turn him in. I believe it would be possible for bounty hunters to do it; why not? You could have Wagner compete with anyone who thinks they can compete with them, and run a million numbers games on it and the winner gets the largest prize known to man.

"At least 320 bodies have been discovered buried in a mass grave at the destroyed Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis, just weeks after a similar mass grave containing up to 400 bodies was discovered amid the ruins of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. Some of the bodies, which include children, medical staff and patients, appear to have been executed or buried alive. Meanwhile, Israel continues its bombardment of Gaza as its assault of the beleaguered enclave surpasses 200 days. “Every single body that is being unearthed, you find tens of people rushing for the sake of identifying whether those are their relatives,” says Akram al-Satarri, a journalist based in Gaza. “Some of the people were tied. Some of the people had medical accessories on their hands, like the cannulas. And when they were unearthed from the ground, it was apparent that they were buried alive. Some people were tortured. Some of the bodies were extremely mutilated, which means that those bodies, some of their organs were taken by the Israeli occupation.”

I think those spokesmen for Israel... all believe, that if you tell a lie long enough... long long enough.. that it will become the truth.... All zionistic IDF.. they are saying for themselves... the most humane army... they should have said: "We are the most humane terrorists." Ja... all the way to the Hague!
These people we can not take them seriously... those pro Israeli agitators... all are pathological liars...

How ”nice” – how “deeply human”... And how sentimental, how brutally genocidal in its psychotically suppressed intent, and how Jewish!
(This reaction of mine belongs – maybe – in an entirely different thread – I can imagine at least two – and yet, I am profoundly convinced that it eminently belongs here:
If “they do not want people to die unnecessarily”. they probably want people to die necessarily, Mr Stieglitz? Or if they don’t, maybe you do? What does that mean: "to die necessarily"?
I may, when this life finally becomes entirely unbearable, decide to take my leave because I think my death is necessary to me – but nobody else needs to decide about that necessity in my stead. Could you just stop talking about necessary deaths, yes?
This of course rhymes very well with the “women and children" sing-song. The evil in the world created by humans in the world is created by men AND women alike, and in exactly the same proportion. As for the children, it is in their name that the worst evils are committed – because it is always fine to kill your neighbour’s children if you can find a justification like "in order to protect mine". (And those arguments are wielded quite often by women who between tea and cake volunteer the information that they “had a few abortions in their life” while at the same time complaining that they have recurrent night and daymares in which evil-eating "demons” escort them to hell. (I know, psychoanalysis is expensive. Just go on killing then, if that is cheaper.)
I believe that human propensity to cannibalism and its derivatives will only end when the so-called "principal perpetrators", the MEN, will refuse to fight each other. (I know, foreskin reconstructive surgery is expensive. Go on killing then, if that is cheaper.) Then it remains to be seen if the people who sent them out as their proxies will take up arms for the "necessary" fight instead.
