Sanford and Sons was a great show by the way. A 70s classic, for those of you not familiar. It sounds like Red Foxx was a (relatively) good guy.

Then again, the show is named "Sanford and Son," it's based on some book or other production called "Crossed Swords"... Yeah, I'm not sure I even want to go down that rabbit hole. If it is Lamont, I'm sure he has heard some weird stuff.

How about Dave Chapelle, he turned down a 50 mil contract, said he had enough, ect ect. I believe there have been some suggestions to by him on tape leading the path.
I know he said he wasn't that knowledgeable on the music industry, but David Geffen is in the music industry. If he's doing this in Hollywood then why wouldn't he be using the same model in the music industry?
Aerosmith is one of my favorite bands, but I've always wondered about Steven Tyler. I've read their autobiography. He's a shady dude. He didn't talk about this, but he had a 16 or 17 year old pregnant girlfriend who somehow passed out unconscious and woke up with her house on fire, and she nearly died. Only by a miracle she woke up and got out of there, and she doesn't even remember why she was passed out, if I recall the story correctly (she's been interviewed, it's all online). I thought maybe Steven had some mob connections, but now I'm wondering if he wasn't just giving other kinds of "favors" to the guys in New York running Columbia Records. And it was Geffen that took Aerosmith in when Columbia abandoned them after their break-up.
Aerosmith hadn't been in New York long either, when they were signed on by Columbia.

That was the first cash installment right off the bat. I remember reading in their autobiography basically how their managers, Leber and Krebs if I recall correctly, got them enormously indebted with cars, drugs, a helicopter, etc., and then pulled it all out from under them and left them all virtually homeless and penniless by around 1980. On top of that, the members of Aerosmith don't get any royalties from their original recording of Dream On, or any of what they did in the Leber/Krebs era.
Chappelle is my favorite comedian of all time. I really believe he's a sincere guy, and he says himself that there was a lot of shady stuff going on that he didn't want to be around. That's public. He's very vague, but he's very clear in his tone and choice of words that bad stuff was going on.Quote:

I've read things that can't be proven, like that Chappelle was getting serious death threats from people like Oprah and Jesse Jackson for not following a certain set of talking points in his comedy. Chappelle didn't want Comedy Central interfering with his writing. He wanted creative license, but they kept trying to pressure him into doing this and that, things that he didn't want to do. He apparently began doing some skits in protest, and the Oprah skit he did might have been a subtle jab at her because of all of this behind-the-scenes drama. According to this account of things, Chappelle once was woken up in the middle of the night in his own bed, and armed thugs were in his bedroom, his wife passed out as if under the influence of some drug, and he was told to do as instructed or bad things would start happening to him and his family.
I have a feeling the whole story will come out some day, if Chappelle is careful and lives long enough to tell it. But for now all we can say for sure is that he suddenly ditched out to the middle of nowhere in Africa, and when he came back he started insinuating that some really bad stuff was happening in Hollywood.

Demond Wilson (lower right) starred as Lamont in Sanford & Son. Sanford was Redd Foxx's real name. Actor and songwriter Clifton Davis is pictured in a still from the TV series That's My Mama. Comedian and actor Sinbad had a run in the 80's when he was truly King Sh-t, finding simultaneous success in movies and television. The roles dried up, and at some point he suffered financial difficulties. All were personal friends of Redd Foxx. Interestingly, all four (including Foxx), have reputations in Hollywood as relatively decent and intelligent guys.
David Geffen lived with Joni Mitchell, signed the Eagles, and named his record label after himself. Renegade, the nom du jour of the so-called Hollywood insider, says Geffen is perhaps the Evil Dude in LA, and I have heard second-hand stories from people in the music business that I have no reason to doubt.
There is a lot of information here, including names, dates, and places, and, yes, it all ties in with the Q stuff.

I'm so glad I gave hollywood an almost life long miss. I must have seen a total of about 20 movies in my life, get the creeps watching script written faux reality and can't understand how so many people take the stories and run with them as their truth/big picture building blocks.
My disgust and creepy reaction to it was all mixed up with a dislike of "America" once, but I've since managed to separate out real Americans from that mind rotting cess pool. Meeting people here at Avalon has done a huge lot to help me do that.
Keep in mind that before the internet, all other people around the world had to "judge" Americans by was the stuff coming out of Hollywood. Well, that and the military domination thing.

About 35 years ago a buddy of mine 's sister was very talented, pageants, dancing ect. She was on a few really popular shows in the 80's , Just as special guest appearances, One day my buddy was telling me the story that his sister and mom had went to one of the big studio executive's homes for a visit in Hollywood. The studio president called my buddies sister into the bedroom and told her privately he would make her a star, all she had to do was sleep with him the entire time. She opted out , took a job in some other entertainment outside of California and ended up leaving the business entirely to raise a family. Never forgot him telling me that , kind of fits into the puzzle of this thread doesn't it.

many thanks for posting the pdf info for those who have not yet read this incredible book; I read it yrs. ago as, well, a book not yet available in pdf format;
just my own personal taste but I prefer to have a book in paperback form as opposed to pdf format; much easier to go back into re-reading former concepts that one has forgotten but one wants to refresh in order to understand farther concepts fully- but is just my own cheap opinion-

Prosecutors argued that Bronfman, who has assets of $100 million, including property in New York, Fiji and California, as well as a trust worth $100 million, is a flight risk. She will be on house arrest until a hearing Friday to determine how her bond will be secured, and will be monitored electronically. She is not allowed to speak to anyone associated with Nxivm before Friday.

On Tuesday authorities in upstate New York also arrested and charged former NXIVM bookkeeper Kathy Russell, NXIVM president Nancy Salzman and her daughter Lauren Salzman, who served on NXIVM's executive board, according to court documents. All three pleaded not guilty in Albany to charges related to running a criminal enterprise and were released on much smaller bonds.
Indictments unsealed Tuesday also added 10 counts of racketeering to the sex trafficking charges already pending against Raniere and "Smallville" actress Allison Mack, who prosecutors say helped Raniere recruit sex slaves.
Lauren Salzman is charged with conspiring to commit wire fraud, forced labor, extortion, labor trafficking, along with other charges.
According to court documents, Bronfman allegedly committed identity theft of at least two women and illegally brought another woman into the country.
Bronfman's lawyer Susan Necheles denied the allegations in a statement.
"Clare Bronfman did nothing wrong. NXIVM was not a criminal enterprise but instead was an organization that helped thousands of people," she said. "The charges against Clare are the result of government overreaching and charging an individual with crimes just because the government disagrees with some beliefs taught by Nxivm and held by Clare. This is not how things should be done in America. We are confident that Clare will be exonerated. "
