Here is a video that i am a little hesitant to show.
However the main message is one of LOVE, PEACE and HOPE.
The part that am reluctant about is it speaks of pleiadians, reptillians and illuminati.....
these are a minor part of the video...and the reason i am reluctant is i don't know anything about these things. There are parts that some have seen before.
Still the big picture is one of Awakening...its 70 mins long and i hope all can take the time to watch.
Blesssings.

Hi Greybeard
I agree, and that is how I was brought up and think. I understand your gist - if I change the world changes. By contrast, if you change it may well be your perception the world has changed, which may or may not be correct.
What I am saying is that I will not sit back, I will use every opportunity to expose the lies of our government, I will campaign and write to MP’s. I realise many will disagree and perhaps argue I’m not enlightened. What I do know is that elites could not careless and welcome people doing nothing. The elites have all the power, and, if they want, can set off a rogue nuclear bomb and start WWIII. No amount of meditation will stop them or prevent the spread of fallout around the world. Although it appears ET could.

Hi Ian,
i understand where you're at, i have been there too.
There is times when it's proper for action to take place.
The ones that do the bad things are unconscious as Jesus said, they sleep.
Please watch the video two posts above, maybe it will put everything in a different light.
It does include some of the things you are speaking of.
Blessings

This is all fine and good, but may I ask...
...has anyone considered what they want to change the world into? There's a part of me that is screaming out that says Utopias are impossible. D.O.T. said it best I think that the change has to begin within ourselves, by why do the old ideas have to slip off? What if the old ideas are better than the new ones? What if the new ones are false?
And even more perplexing, as I said to a friend over the week-end, if we're all starting from the mess to begin with, how can we have a chance of seeing the real way out if our means of looking is by default not credible?
No, not all gloom and doom. ;)
Three words to use if you want to change the world. Really this simple. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself for one month.
Ready?
You change the world this way:
Tell the truth.
Every aspect of your life, to your friends and family, to people you interact with who maybe aren't doing the right thing, you speak up even if you're afraid to because keeping silent is as much a lie to your authentic self as anything. You wear a rubber band on your wrist (I'm not kidding lol) and every time you tell a lie, you snap it. Every time you tell a lie to someone verbally, you stop yourself and apologize. You own it, and then you correct yourself.
So here's the deal. I think there's enough interest in this thread. If everyone who's commented so far is willing to try this for a week (at least) to see how soar their wrists get, I think we'll get an idea of the metal of the people wanting to change the world...and tell me how you feel about what you've done in a week! Don't just comment, get the rubber band out and DO it.
Because it's so much easier to just...type, click "post quick reply" and "thanks". ;)
I look at what works and what does not.
There has be rebellions--civil war--counter violence--take overs-- new governments---you name it.
That only works superficially
Standard of living has improved greatly at least in the Western World.
However the lowest level of satisfaction/happiness and the highest level of depression is to be found in so called affluent countries.
That does not really work, not what I would call success..
So what does work?
There have been scientific experiments that have proved conclusively the power of mediation.
The Maharishi effect--where crime dropped dramatically for the time the meditation continued.
That may have had a long term effect on border line criminals.
It is also so that the crime rate has been falling---something is bringing this change about.
The media news tends to focus on the dramatic--- the good actions that go on in a quiet way are not noticed--but there are a lot of them.
The late Dr David Hawkins book "Power vs Force --the Hidden Deteminates of Human Behaviour" explains well the positive effect of rising personal consciousness. Its all down to spiritual vibration.
There is nothing but energy--every atom is full of it.
The degree of positive energy determines the action and end result, we are affected by the energy of the collective bet we also influence the collective.
Anger, frustration, retaliation brings more of the same.
Nothing is ever changed by the same level of energy that created it.
So we change the way we view things--we change what is viewed.

That's an interesting thought Milneman, what would we want the world to change into? it looks like there's already a variety of opinions.
Thoughts of money trees springs to my mind, weather at 70 degrees constantly, think of food and a perfectly done steak and baked potatoes appears on your plate.
But even among these things probably no one would want the same things.....Some would say well i like it cold, 70 degrees, no way, plus i don't even like steak
i'm a vegetarian....there is no pleasing everyone in this way.
When i started this thread i was coming from a more spiritual point of view, right now the world operates mostly on fear, scarcity and negativity. Some practice
Loving their neighbors as themselves and i think if large numbers would begin to join together and meditate for world peace and Love everyone as themselves an Awakening
would begin to take place. This has really never been tried before at least on a large scale......Maybe we can Change The World.
As far as telling the truth i believe it would depend on having the correct perception of who you believe your'e speaking to.
If speaking from the ego!!!! the part that is separate, in competition with an perhaps an adversary of, if forced to tell the truth
might say something like Milenman, just by looking at your avatar you look like one sour, cranky a$$ed old clucker...... could get worse from there.
But if speaking from Love and oneness with all, one could truthfully say....Milneman in gratitude i thank God/the Universe our true self for your true perfection
and oneness we share and thank you Milneman for the purity of Love that i see in you.
From that point of view i would see others and the world and believe this would change the world.
Love ya.....barry
PS...sorry about the cranky old clucker crack.....just puling your leg...er.....drumstick :o
The comment was finger lickin good. ;) And you've understood me perfectly.
I'm diving into Thomas Reid right now, very heavy questions about perceptions. I wonder, maybe, if we change the world or if we simply start seeing it as it really is, and by doing so, live more harmoniously?
I'm thinking in terms of green spaces rather than green in your wallet. In order to get rid of money, you eliminate the idea of possession of physical objects. University educations free, and valued, and honoured, and really meaning something. People who bake bread honoured as much as people who pave roads, write poetry, you name it.
It involves a real understanding of what capitalism is, and how for (just about) centuries now we've mistaken the mixed economy (namely, government controls for the "people" in the "name of the people" for the "people's own good) that end up padding wallets. Let people trade. Get rid of income taxes, charge a value tax on commodities. Sure milk will be more expensive, but you'll have more (and I mean more) money to use.
I dunno.... I'm from a place in the world where we have five months that are spring-summer-fall and 7-8 months of winter. It helps create a sense of honouring what you have while you have it. ;)
Buck-awk you. ;O) (SNORT! ;) ;))
Sounds like the world we would all like to live in....but can we get there while the ego rules the roost? (sorry)Therefore the shift to a world of Love
where in gratitude we honor all and see no difference in anyone.....with no hierarchy.
Years ago i heard a someone say God/Holy Spirit/Universe/our trues selves or any other words we use to mean the same is trying to get its message
to us and if a man, no education, not much understanding of any kind, except he knew about door knobs and only door knobs somehow through
door knobs the Universe would get its beneficent Loving message through to that man.
I think the entire world is ready for that Loving message.
Your'e a good egg Milneman.....bless you.....barry
Oh yea ...here's my favorite quote from Thomas Reid.
Every man is apt to form his notions of things difficult to be apprehended,
or less familiar, from their analogy to things which are more familiar.
Thus, if a man bred to the seafaring life, and accustomed to think and talk
only of matters relating to navigation, enters into discourse upon any other
subject; it is well known, that the language and the notions proper to his
own profession are infused into every subject, and all things are measured
by the rules of navigation: and if he should take it into his head to
philosophize concerning the faculties of the mind, it cannot be doubted,
but he would draw his notions from the fabric of the ship, and would find
in the mind, sails, masts, rudder, and compass.
-- Thomas Reid, "An Inquiry into the Human Mind", 1764
Hi everyone, All through this thread there is division about what....Change The World, means. Some seem to think that we need to go get the ones that run things.
Some suggest a change in the rules or throw out the bad guys and put in the good ones.
Then there's save the planet, the environment....then on a semi related thread i saw the word.........DESERVE!!!!!! On a Clint Eastwood Western ....The Unforgiven......one of the
actors said " Well I guess he had it coming"! Eastwood (William Munny) answered
"We all have it coming" or again we, she, they Deserve it....another word for this is Blame...
Only the ego judges one with Blame or as Deserved it....
Until there is a shift away from deserve/blame/fear/....
this will continue as a world of sleep....these things are the foundation
of the ego.... a foundation that is not really there.
With a shift to Love and oneness with all i feel the world can really
become a better one.....the world of the awakened the conscious.
Below is a response to the word deserve!
Deserve has nothing to do with it.
It's more a matter of identity or beingness, we are all that same self.
No single drop in the ocean is ever different from that ocean.
When we ask does someone else deserve? we are looking in a mirror, asking the same about our selves.
The most we can give is to extend the Love that we are and from that viewpoint we can only see others as perfect
and never as separate from our one true self.
When this happens the question of deserve never enters again.
Lets listen to our hearts so we can see our brothers as they truly are
One with all That is.
With Love ..barry

Thanks for this Barry
My feeling is that more and more people are getting the message, at least intellectually, hopefully the love will be come predominant.
You have been around the block in search a few times Barry and that took time and some painful events.
My observation is that the process is speeding up.
U tube is now easy access to in depth spiritual teaching---I hope people appreciate and make full use of this.
The tools are here for a better world.
Eckhart Tolle's Book "A New World" is well worth reading.
There is not point in complaining about the state of the world if one is not prepared to do what it takes to change one self, or rather discover ones True Self.
All the get even, throw out the bad guys, stuff has been tried---it clearly does not work.
Spiritual evolution is the answer.

Yes I fell it deeply as well Beren, I also feel the friction of my Material World Impotency.
I won't to explode into action, I have so much pent up frustration and energy but haven't installed a fire button! :(
I don't want to explode into action only to fizzle out or find my self still unconnected like a tumble weed!
Love,Peace Big Hugs and stay connected!
Alan
I just want a world based on Love, honesty, kindness, open helpfulness to each other, knowledge for all, free energy for all and a forward thinking plan for the whole planet using it's new free energy and connectedness!

Hi everyone, since this thread seems to be on it's last leg ( no comments in quite a while ) and that's alright. i thought i would leave a few final ideas on the thread.
It does really look like most everyone have a different idea of what Change The World
means....i wish everyone would take the time to consider how things have always
been done on this planet....except for more technology....nothing has changed!
Except from a shift from fear to Love ....all else has been done and continuously
repeated over and over and has never worked.
A shift from fear, to Love is something new...It could Change The World
In this world, Love is usually withheld from those we dislike and reserved for the
few near us and even then if they don't live up our to expectations, can be withdrawn.
Not knowing when we withdraw it from them we withdraw it from ourselves.
The Love of which i am speaking would have to be unconditional...some are awakening
and finding that this is the only way...seeing everyone and everything as themselves.
Those that are seeing everything as part of themselves are experiencing a Changed World....because they are themselves the change.
An Awakening is taking place and Love and Awakening are one.
Blessings to everyone..... i end with a quote from my friend chris.
Spiritual evolution is the answer.

All the best....barry
