- In what appears to be an exceptional internal leak from the think tank RAND Corporation, known among other things to have been behind the American strategy for foreign and defence policies during the Cold War, a detailed account is given of how the energy crisis in Europe has been planned by the United States.
- The document, which dates from January, acknowledges that the aggressive foreign policy that was being pursued by Ukraine before the conflict would push Russia into having to take military action against the country. Its actual purpose, it contends, was to pressure Europe into adopting a wide range of sanctions against Russia, sanctions which had already been prepared.
- The European Union's economy, it states, “will inevitably collapse” as a result of this, and its authors rejoice in the fact that, among other things, resources of up to $9 billion will flow back to the United States, and well-educated young people in Europe will be forced to emigrate.
- The key objective described in the document is to divide Europe - especially Germany and Russia - and destroy the European economy by placing useful idiots in political positions in order to stop Russian energy supplies from reaching the continent.
As the first outlet in Europe, Nya Dagbladet can publish what appears to be classified US plans to crush the European economy by means of a war in Ukraine and an induced energy crisis.
RAND Corporation’s think tank, which has a huge work force of 1,850 employees and a budget of $350 million, has the official aim of “improving policies and decision-making through research and analysis”. It is primarily connected to the United States Department of Defence and is infamous for having been influential in the development of military and other strategies during the Cold War.
A document signed RAND, under the opening heading of “Weakening Germany, strengthening the U.S.”, suggests that there is an “urgent need” for an influx of resources from outside to maintain the overall American economy, but “especially the banking system”.
“Only European countries bound by EU and NATO commitments can provide us with these without significant military and political costs for us.”
According to RAND, the main obstacle to this ambition is the growing independence of Germany. Among other things, it points out that Brexit has given Germany greater independence and made it more difficult for the United States to influence the decisions of European governments.
A key objective that permeates this cynical strategy is, in particular, to destroy the cooperation between Germany and Russia, as well as France, which is seen as the greatest economic and political threat to the United States.
”If implemented, this scenario will eventually turn Europe into not only an economic, but also a political competitor to the United States.”, it declares.
In order to crush this political threat, a strategic plan, primarily focused on destroying the German economy, is presented.
- The only way: “Draw both sides into war with Ukraine”
“Stopping Russian deliveries could create a systematic crisis that would be devastating for the German economy and indirectly for the European Union as a whole”, it states, and believes that the key is to draw the European countries into war.
“The only possible way to ensure that Germany rejects Russian energy supplies is to draw both sides into the military conflict in Ukraine. Our continued actions in this country will inevitably lead to a military response from Russia. Russia is clearly not going to leave to the massive Ukrainian army’s pressure on the Donetsk People’s Republic without a military response. This would make it possible to portray Russia as the aggressive party and then implement the entire package of sanctions, which has already been drawn up”.
The green parties in Europe are described as being particularly easy to manipulate into running the errands of American imperialism.
- Green parties will force Germany to “fall into the trap”
“The prerequisite for Germany to fall into this trap is the dominant role of green parties and European ideologies. The German environmental movement is a highly dogmatic, if not fanatical, movement, which makes it quite easy to get them to ignore economic arguments”, it writes, citing the current foreign minister of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, and the climate minister, Robert Habeck, as examples of this type of politician.
“Personal characteristics and lack of professionalism make it possible to assume that it is impossible for them to recognise their own mistakes in time. I will therefore be sufficient to rapidly form a media image of Putin’s aggressive war – and make the Greens into ardent and tough supporters of sanctions – a ‘war party’. This will make it possible to impose the sanctions without any obstacles”.
Baerbock is, i.a., well known for declaring that she will continue the suspension of Russian gas even during the winter – regardless of what her constituents think about the matter and the consequences for the German population.
– We will stand with Ukraine, and this means that the sanctions will stay, also in winter time – even if it gets really tough for politicians, she said at a conference in Prague recently.

Green Party politicians Annalena Baerbock (left) and Robert Habeck (right) are described by the United Sates as being grateful for being manipulated into running errands for the United States – in particular the goal of destroying the German economy.
The authors express a hope that the damage between Germany and Russia will be so great that it will make it impossible for the countries to re-establish normal relations later on.
- “Ideally – a complete halt of supplies”
“A reduction in Russian energy supplies – ideally, a complete halt of such supplies– would lead to disastrous outcomes for German industry. The need to divert significant amounts of Russian gas for winter heating will further exacerbate the shortages. Lockdowns in industrial enterprises would cause shortages of components and spare parts for manufacturing, a breakdown of logistics chains and, eventually, a domino effect”.
Ultimately, a total collapse of the economy in Europe is seen as both probable and desirable.
“Not only will it deliver a devastating blow to the German economy, the entire economy of the entire EU economy will inevitably collapse.”
It further points out that the benefits of US-based companies having less competition on the world market, logistical advantages and the outflow of capital from Europe, would mean that they would be able to contribute to the economy of the United States by an estimated 7-9 trillion dollars. In addition, it also emphasises the important effect of many well-educated and young Europeans being be forced to immigrate to the USA.
RAND Corporation issued a press release on Wednesday denying that the report originates from them. No comments are made regarding what parts of the report are false or what is accurate, apart from simply writing that the content is “bizarre” and that the document is “fake””.

"Anglo Saxon" is a very ambiguous choice of words. It could refer to:
Of course, all of these countries are now much more multi racial and "Ango Saxon" doesn't really explain the official power structures of the government.
- Germany - where the two tribes originated
- the British Isles - where the two tribes mixed and created a language and a civilization
- the USA - where people of this descent settled, conquered and colonized the country.
"Anglo Saxon" is indeed a very interesting choice of words on Putin's part!

Ruble surges against euro and dollar
The Russian ruble strengthened to new highs against the Euro and US dollar during Friday trading on the Moscow Exchange amid the threat of further Western sanctions, as the two Donbass republics, as well as the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, are set to become part of Russia.
The euro was trading at an eight-year low against the Russian currency, at 51.1 rubles as of 12:10 GMT. The EU currency briefly sank below 51 rubles at one point. The dollar rate fell below 54 rubles for the first time since July.
Both top global reserve currencies have been declining against the ruble amid rising geopolitical tensions. The Russian denomination has remained strong in recent months partly due to limited demand from importers, which are already grappling with the effects of the sanctions on Moscow.
Analysts explain the imbalance in the ratio of the currencies by the large-scale sales of the euro and the dollar in the absence of demand on the Moscow Exchange. On Thursday, the adviser to the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank of Russia, Sergey Moiseev, said exchange trading in the dollar and euro could be halted if sanctions are introduced against the Moscow Exchange.
READ MORE: Putin recognizes independence of Zaporozhye and Kherson
The ruble’s rise comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin signed two decrees recognizing the former Ukrainian regions of Kherson and Zaporozhye as independent sovereign states on Thursday. The move came on the eve of the official ceremony in which the Russian president is expected to sign treaties on incorporating the regions of Kherson and Zaporozhye, as well as the two Donbass republics, into Russia. Referendums on joining Russia were held in Zaporozhye and Kherson, as well as the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), between September 23 and 27.

Russia Vetoes UNSC Draft Resolution Rejecting Referendum Results in Former Ukraine Regions
UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) - Russia vetoed on Friday a UN Security Council draft resolution designed to condemn Moscow for incorporating four former Ukrainian regions.
Ten members voted in favor 10, one against and four others abstained.
"The draft resolution has not been adopted owing to the negative vote of a permanent member of the Council," French Ambassador to the UN De Riviere said at a UN Security Council meeting.
France holds the presidency of the Council for September.
Ahead of the vote, US Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield noted that in the event of the resolution being vetoed, the matter would be taken to the 193-member General Assembly.
Earlier in the day, Russian Ambassador to the UN Vassily Nebenzia said the US-Albanian draft resolution demonstrates the West's refusal to engage and cooperate within the Council. He called the draft a "low-grade provocation with a goal that is clear to all."
Thank you Kryztian, Bill.
As for your first identification, Kryztian (“Germany, where the two tribes originated”), I beg to differ. Certainly the two tribes, the Angli (Pope Gregorius famously said, when presented with a qood-looking fair-haired young “Anglus”: "non sunt Angli, sed angeli” ("they are not Angles but angels”)) – hardly anybody would make such a comment now I’m afraid) and the Saxones (I’m not sure about the Latin for the latter) emigrated to / invaded the Celt-inhabited British Isles. They did so both, and were later considered one group (the "Anglo-Saxons") if only because they more or less jointly pushed the Celts to the North, the West and the South West. All the Angli left Germany, but part of the Saxon tribe stayed, presumably in what is more or less "Sachsen" in Germany now.
That means that the combination "Anglo-Saxon" has been reduced to the meaning: the invaders of the Celtic British Isles and/or the speakers of West-Germanic dialects (as opposed to Celtic ones). In spite of the later Viking invasion and, two centuries later, French/Norman invasion, "English” has stuck as name for the language I am writing this post in, and that in spite of the fact that it contains quite a lot of Celtic, Latin, Norse and French. It also means that the countries in which natives speak English are called Anglo-Saxon in both the Latin cultures of this world (French, Italian etc.) and the Slavonic ones (Russian, Polish etc.) – but never, in those civilisational realms, is Germany called "Anglo-Saxon" – Germany which is inhabited by a Germanic population, as are the Netherlands and (partly) Belgium (where Dutch is spoken, a Germanic langage), or (partly) South Africa for that matter (where Afrikaans is also a Germanic language). Admittedly English is, because of its large “Anglish” and “Saxon” content, Germanic as well ("Anglish" and "Saxon" being (West-) Germanic dialects), only it is never called that way (unless in scientific linguistic contexts) but always and only Anglo-Saxon. “Anglo-Saxon” are then, by convention, the countries where English is spoken as a native language, and so we arrive at the five-eyes countries, the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia and New-Zealand.
This is the "Anglo-Saxon" realm, and obviously we arrive then at the "Rhodesian" exceptionalism and at the “Anglo-Saxon mission“ – and certainly the Russian secret services have been aware of this exceptionalism and ”mission“ for a long time and understand it for what it is – what corresponds to what you have relayed for quite a number of years now Bill – ...have been aware of that, because they do know their history (cf. Shaberon’s historic overviews of "Russophobia" as "Orthodoxophobia"), and I conclude that it is indeed to this definition that president Putin refers.
Quite apart from that, I guess the Russians consider it diplomatically unwise to call their erstwhile customers and targets of the USA (see the Rand Corporation study), i.e. the Germans, "Anglo-Saxons".
I'm a simple man and I thought the following - "The Anglo-Saxons, known in Old English as the “Angul-Seaxan”, shaped much of the English language, culture, and identity. Descended from a hotchpotch of Germanic peoples who migrated to parts of Britain, they inhabited and ruled territories in England and Wales for six centuries." - from here
Also - you could say today it is (as you stated) - "the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia and New-Zealand" but it's easier to sat, The Five Eyes.
Kryztian's post stated this rather accurately IMO.
I would actually point to Die Spinne (the 4th Reich) as the overarching transnational organizing force... still at war with Russia after it's "official" formation after WWII, though it's roots go back decades before.
Who knew it was that simple... :P
The fight for freedom is hard, not everyone makes it, and these people will never be able to live their dream, it ends for them now
This is not new, just another day, and their voices are silenced and very few people will know they even existed, or about what happened to them. For sure there will be no news of this on the west, and much less an understanding of why and how this is happening to those people
I was not going to post the embedded link, but i think it is time for some people to take a look and maybe think "why i haven't heard about this on the news? Who did this? And why?" Sometimes, it is past the time to look away, and instead maybe a little shock and test of reality may wake some people upQuote:
A column of civilian vehicles moving towards the part of the Zaporozhye region controlled by the Russian Federation came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the morning, the military-civil administration of Energodar reported.
In total, up to 15 artillery explosions were heard. A large number of dead and wounded are reported.
Or not...
