Exposing the lies of the Israeli army: Among the names of what the Israeli army claimed were Hamas fighters in the Tabein school that was bombarded yesterday were Muntaser Daher and yousef al Wadia. It turned out that both of these people were already killed by the Israeli army in a completely different place 24 hours before the bombardment of Altabein School where 100 Palestinian civilians were killed. Other names on the Israeli list were names of children who could not be fighters.

The young settler and soldier, 23 year old Yonatan Deutsch, was the man killed in the Jordan Valley operation in the occupied West Bank today, claimed by Hamas' Qassam Brigades.
He had just returned from combat service in Gaza weeks prior, where he served in the Israeli army's Maglan Unit (special forces).
Hebrew sources such as Maariv newspaper clarified that he was a soldier, while the Times of Israel's English website called him a 'civilian' in its headline and completely omitted the fact that he was a soldier who served in Gaza.

Widespread condemnation follows Israeli extension of Al Mayadeen ban
The decision by the Israeli occupation to extend its ban on Al Mayadeen Media Network has sparked an additional wave of condemnation from various international, regional, and local figures and movements. The move has been widely criticized as a significant affront to press freedom and an attempt to silence Arab pro-Palestine voices on the international level.
Hamas Movement issued a strong denunciation of the Israeli occupation’s continued ban on Al Mayadeen Media Network. The movement criticized the confiscation of the channel's equipment and the blocking of its website.
Hamas stressed that the ban "ban reflects the Zionist entity’s discomfort with Al Mayadeen's significant role in supporting the Palestinian people and conveying their suffering to the world."
The movement also emphasized that the decision underscores Al Mayadeen's significant presence in the Arab media landscape and its efforts to thwart Israeli plans.
ICSPR condemns the 'blatant violation of press freedom'
Similarly, the International Commission to Support Palestinian People’s Rights (ICSPR) has strongly condemned the Israeli government's decision to renew the ban on Al Mayadeen Media Network, describing it as a "blatant violation of press freedom."
In a statement, the organization reiterated its opposition to the systematic targeting of journalists and media workers by the Israeli occupation. It expressed solidarity with Al Mayadeen and its team, praising their commitment to truth, justice, and human rights.
The Commission also criticized the international community's failure to protect Palestinians and journalists, warning that "the decision might be a precursor to expanding violations and crimes of genocide and ongoing Israeli aggression in the occupied Palestinian territories, Lebanon, Syria, and other regional countries."
Multiple figures also condemn the Israeli occupation's decision
In turn, the Popular Campaign for the Support of Palestine and Issues of the Nation described the Israeli occupation government's actions against Al Mayadeen as a "new testimony" to the channel's significant role. The campaign suggested that Al Mayadeen's coverage of the situation in Majdal Shams has intensified the Israeli government's animosity towards the channel.
Moreover, the Lebanese Minister of Agriculture Abbas al-Haj Hassan labeled the Israeli occupation's decision to freeze and ban Al Mayadeen as "intellectual terrorism," highlighting it as a reflection of the nature of the Israeli occupation.
Furthermore, the First Lady of Cuba also condemned the decision, noting that it not only bans Al Mayadeen but also threatens its reporters in Palestine, whom the Israeli occupation government has unjustly labeled as terrorists.

Hamas calls for implementing July agreement instead of new talks
Hamas called on the mediators in Qatar and Egypt to present a plan for implementing the ceasefire agreement the movement approved on July 2 and compel "Israel" to comply with it instead of engaging in new rounds of negotiations.
This comes after US President Joe Biden, Qatar's Emir Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi released a couple of days ago a joint statement calling on "Israel" and the Palestinian Resistance group to finalize the ceasefire and prisoner exchange deal in a meeting set for next week.
In response to the trilateral statement, Hamas affirmed on Saturday that since the onset of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, it has been committed to supporting the mediation efforts led by Egypt and Qatar to secure a ceasefire and end the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people and has consistently backed any initiative that aims to halt the aggression.
It confirmed that it has engaged in numerous negotiation rounds and demonstrated all necessary flexibility and positivity to achieve the goals and interests of the Palestinian people, halt the bloodshed, and end the genocide.
According to the statement, these efforts were intended to pave the way for a prisoner exchange, provide much-needed relief to the Palestinian people, facilitate the return of displaced persons, and rebuild the destruction caused by the aggression on the Gaza Strip.
In line with this approach, the movement accepted the mediators' proposal on May 6, 2024, and welcomed US President Joe Biden's announcement on May 31, 2024, alongside UN Security Council Resolution 2735, the statement recalled.
However, Hamas pointed out that the Israeli occupation met this approach with rejection, continuing its massacres against the Palestinian people and reiterating its stance that it was not serious about a permanent ceasefire, with its aggressive actions standing as clear evidence of this.
Despite Hamas' awareness, shared with the mediators in Egypt and Qatar, of the occupation’s true motives and the stance of its Prime Minister, the movement said it still responded to the latest agreement on July 2, 2024.
Yet, according to Hamas, the Israeli occupation met this by introducing new conditions that had not been raised throughout the negotiation process and escalated its aggression against the Palestinian people, committing further massacres, which culminated in the assassination of its political leader Ismail Haniyeh, which confirms "Israel's" intentions to continue the aggression and not reach a ceasefire agreement.
The Palestinian Resistance group said that even after the announcement of the trilateral statement, "Israel" committed a heinous crime, massacring displaced people at the Al-Taibeen school in Gaza's al-Daraj neighborhood during dawn prayers on August 10 and leaving more than one hundred civilians killed and over 250 others injured.
Hamas said that in light of these developments and out of a sense of responsibility and concern for the Palestinian people and their interests, it calls on the mediators to present a plan to implement what they proposed to the movement, which was agreed on, on July 2, based on Biden’s vision and the Security Council's resolution.
Elsewhere, the Palestinian Resistance group stressed that the mediators should compel "Israel" to comply with the plan, instead of pursuing further rounds of negotiations or new proposals that would provide cover for the occupation’s aggression and grant it more time to continue its genocide against the Palestinian people.

This has been said within about the past hour:
Quote:
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin that Iran was preparing for a large-scale attack on Israel, the Axios news portal reported, citing a source.
According to the publication, the top military officials held a phone conversation on Sunday.
Earlier, Axios reporter Barak Ravid said, citing two unnamed sources, that Israeli intelligence believed that Iran had decided to attack Israel directly in response to the death of the political leader of Palestinian movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, and might do so before the hostage deal talks on August 15.
In the wake of the Syrian incident:
Quote:
In a statement provided to local media on Saturday, Damascus slammed Washington for its use of the SDF as a “cheap tool to implement its anti-Syrian schemes,” and accused the predominantly Kurdish militia, which occupies eastern Syria alongside US forces, of carrying out “criminal attacks on local residents in Deir ez-Zor, Hasakah and Qamishli, in addition to other villages in the eastern and northeastern regions,” leading to numerous casualties among civilians, including women and children.
“Military aircraft belonging to the American forces have provided support for the SDF militia by launching multiple raids targeting innocent civilians defending their families, villages and property,” the Foreign Ministry added, referring to clashes which took place this week between the SDF and local Arab tribesmen.
Referencing the SDF’s siege of government-controlled areas in eastern Syria, including places in the cities of Hasakah and Qamishli, Damascus emphasized that “all of these inhumane and immoral practices against [the Syrian] people in the eastern and northeastern regions, including preventing the arrival of food and drinking water, are aimed at doubling Syrians’ suffering and prolonging the war against them.”
“Syria calls on the United States to stop these practices, withdraw immediately from Syrian territory, and respect the will of the Syrians, who reject the presence and role of such separatist militias. Syria also stresses the will of its people to liberate their land and preserve their sovereignty, which will be achieved no matter how great the sacrifice, and that the terrorism and crimes of these militias will not weaken their resolve,” the statement said.
Longstanding tensions between Damascus and the SDF boiled over this week after the militia imposed a siege on government-controlled areas in Syria’s northeast, sparking shortages of drinking water, food, medicine, and other essentials. Syria’s Al-Watan newspaper reported Friday that the situation is “catastrophic,” and that SDF fighters have blocked Red Crescent water tankers from making their way to the areas under siege, forcing residents to depend on unsafe and unsanitary wells and causing a spate of illness, poisonings, and gastrointestinal infections.
Additionally, the SDF has reportedly detained a number of Syrian Army troops and officers at checkpoints, ostensibly in a bid to compel the military to put pressure on local tribesmen who got into a firefight with SDF militiamen backed by US air power in the Deir ez-Zor countryside earlier this week. The tribal militia, dubbed the Arab Tribal Forces, said in a social media statement Wednesday that they would continue targeted attacks to free “the Arab land” from the US-backed militia’s “occupation.” Tensions between locals and the SDF have been on the rise for years amid documented evidence of SDF and US forces’ plunder of energy and food resources from the region.
The US has combined its occupation of areas of eastern Syria – which has robbed the war-torn country of self-sufficiency in energy and food production, with crushing sanctions known as the Caesar Act, designed to starve the country into submission. The present US strategy was implemented after the failure of the CIA dirty war launched in 2011 to try to oust Syrian President Bashar Assad.

Re: Israel vs Palestine/Lebanon/Iran/Yemen/Syria: a New Middle East War
This makes sense to me. Hamas isn't exactly "withdrawing" from anything. They're not negotiating. The view from Lebanon is that the terms have already been given:
Quote:
Senior Hamas official in Lebanon Osama Hamdan told Al-Manar that the war will never end as the Israeli enemy envisions, stressing that the war will end in favor of the resistance.
In an interview with Al-Manar on Sunday, Hamdan said that the man who leads Al-Aqsa Flood battle is the man who leads the resistance group, referring to the selection of Yahya Sinwar as the overall leader of Hamas.
“It is rare for a Hamas leader to be chosen unanimously, as happened with brother Sinwar. This is a strong message that Hamas has become stronger and more resilient despite the severe blow it received with the assassination of its leader, Ismail Haniyeh.”
“It is natural that brother Abu Ibrahim (Yahya) Sinwar takes some time to complete some necessary arrangements within Hamas, and Allah willing, we will announce them upon completion.”
“The most significant characteristic of “Abu Ibrahim” is that he infuriates the enemy, and Hamas wanted to agree on a choice that would send clear messages,” Hamdan noted.
He pointed to the cohesion and coordination taking place between the powers of Axis of Resistance.
The cohesion “has pleased the supporters and disturbed the enemies as it has proven that we can all work together regardless of the distance between battlefields and geography,” Hamdan told Al-Manar.
On the ceasefire talks, the senior Hamas official stressed that the resistance group’s stance is clear.
“There is a document that we have already agreed on. We are waiting for the announcement of implementation mechanisms, including the cessation of aggression, withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces, aid delivery, and reconstruction in the Gaza Strip.”
“The Israelis want to escape the obligation of a ceasefire. The Zionists have a flawed assessment that the resistance is weak. However, the battlefield confirms that the resistance is fighting today as fiercely as in the first days.”
He means "Biden's plan that the Israelis already agreed on". That's the document. It would be with their edits to where Biden-speak uses "attempt", they say "ensure"...and so that's it, nothing to negotiate. Take it or leave it.
