We speak with former Michigan Congressmember Andy Levin, a former synagogue president, who lost his 2022 Democratic primary in a race that saw millions spent by pro-Israel groups to unseat the progressive Jewish lawmaker.
AIPAC, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and other lobby groups have used the same playbook over the years to defeat members of Congress who do not toe the line, and Levin says the Democratic Party has to act to stop such "dark money" from deciding elections and push for a new policy on Israel-Palestine that brings peace. "We need to all get along there, and we need to work together here to make that happen," he says.

This is quite an amazing story. Andy is the nephew of Carl Levin, who was a U.S. Senator from Michigan for 36 years and Andy's father Sandy was in the U.S. House of Representatives, also for 36 years. When Sandy retired in 2018, Andy ran for his father's seat and won.

All the Levin's were quite proudly Jewish and Andy was a Zionist and supported Israel, but also felt that the best way to secure Israel's future was to negotiate for peace.

In 2022 AIPAC spent 4 million dollars in a primary election to make sure that he lost his last election, and indeed Andy Levin did loose his seat. AIPAC gives out hundreds of thousands of dollar to congress people and sometimes even a million or two, but 4 million dollars for just a primary election is unprecedented for them.

This makes is abundantly clear to me that:

• AIPAC is not a Jewish organization. It went out of the the way to destroy the career of a prominent and successful congressman and was continuing the tradition for probably the most famous Jewish political family on Capitol Hill.
  
  
• AIPAC is not concerned about the security of Jews in Israel. It is unrelentingly pro-war and pro-genocide. It's agenda is as racist and violent as the Ku Klux Klan.

There is no reason to believe the report in the first video is true. No other source has substantiated the claims. If I'm misinformed on this point, I hope someone will point me to further evidence.

That said, I do find it plausible. I wouldn't put it past Trump to strategize such. That doesn't mean I agree such contact with Netanyahu is treasonous. That's absurd.

The election between DJT and KH is a war for the minds of the electorate. It has nothing whatsoever to do with real policies or what either candidate will or won't do stop the genocide. That's irrelevant. This is because -- dah -- the vast majority of people in the USA and on this planet do not support genocide of innocent people, regardless of their political leanings. Genocide is waged by psychopaths in power and only supported by weak-minded people who do not understand they are automotons in the matrix. Politicians are both beholden to those psychopaths in power, and to the people who elect them. Some are more beholden to the psychopaths in power than others (think Harris/Walz if you're stumped on this point), so in theory, each party has to deliver to the demands of their constituents while walking a tightrope with their sponsors. If you're new to the political landscape, that's just the reality. Both campaigns must cater to pubic sentiment and pay it lip service, regardless of the degree to which they deliver on their promises.

So the question should be, which campaign stands to deliver the best to their constituent's demands? Should Harris/Walz/Biden negotiate a temporary/false cease-fire, for political purposes, merely to manipulate the electorate to get elected--and would such a cease fire being genuine or temporary? How treasonous and disingenuous would that be if such a trick were merely to beguile the masses, i.e., to trick the sheep-dip into voting for them? Or should Trump intervene on said disingenuous theater, for political purposes, to win votes to secure and negotiate a real end to the genocide after his election?

Those are the questions to consider. If one is voting based on the issue of this horrific genocide and believes believes Harris/Walz/Biden's intentions are genuine and real and motivated irrespective of political gain, they should vote accordingly. If one sees through the smoke and mirrors and believes Trump will end the genocide, after elected, they should take the report above with a grain of salt.

I have no idea which one of these candidates intends on checking Israel, if either will at all. All I know is I take no stock whatsoever in the theater of Harris/Walz pretending, now, with one minute to midnight, to end genocide. I find that the most absurd suggestion of all.

Egyptian ports have been transformed into major hubs for shipments to Israel, according to a report by Arabi Post released on 22 August.
