This was a serious thread — with a comical title, that might have been misunderstood by some! :) — all about the difference (or similarities?) between the culture of ETs and that of humans.
Re: Do ETs do stand-up comedy?
Good question, Bill, especially your broad frame for the comparison, beyond the title question.
I think it would depend on how good or unselfish the ET races are.. We might say how “evolved”, but that would neglect that many probably stopped their descent into darkness way earlier than most earthlings.
What I’m getting at, and I’ll use the example of comedy, is that we are contrarian. Standup comedy is an outlet for that. I think its nature is essentially to stoke againstness, from resentment to defensiveness to pot shots, right up to hilarious predatory thought.
If we imagine alien races’ mindset, say concerning humor, we do it with our understanding of mindsets and humour. A little like what Yoggi Bera said, “Predicting is hard, especially about the future”.
Not sure if this short movie clip (1:32) checks any boxes, but I laughed. I’ve been kicked in the nuts, but never by a alien who just meant “goodbye” lol.

This is a serious question. :P It's actually quite a good one, which I've never seen discussed. It's representative of dozens of other such questions, such as do ETs
- Play competitive sports?
- Compose great music, poetry and prose?
- Do synchronized swimming?
- Do ballet, or ballroom dancing?
- Act in movies or plays?
- Wear fancy dress, or clown costumes?
- Play jokes and tricks on one another?
- Make cartoons and memes?
- Have pets which they love?
- Hug one another when they meet?
- Admire the beauty of sunsets?
Please do share your thoughts, or maybe some other questions like this which may be worth pondering. :flower:
Several witnesses shared that at the La Aurora ranch, between the 1970s and 1990s, there was a particularly “extraterrestrial” being who was very playful and mischievous. Why do I put the term in quotation marks? Because the local contactee, Ángel María Tonna, explained that all the extraterrestrials who manifested there had been human in their most recent incarnation.
In the case I’m referring to, this being was Nicolás, who had been a nurse in his last life. In addition to healing people on several occasions, he was known for his sense of humor and even played pranks on some of the visitors who came to the ranch.
This is a unique case because we’re talking about an extraterrestrial who had been human in his last incarnation. But it also ties into the topic of the thread and even raises another intriguing question: can humans reincarnate as extraterrestrials, or vice versa?
Here I’m sharing a photo of how they say Nicolás looked.
Re: Do ETs do stand-up comedy?
It scares me to think about coming back and reincarnating as a super serious, stale and rigid person. I hope I never need to experience that lol.
It is strange to me how there are so many people that aren't really funny or are afraid to be playful and silly. I'm not afraid to act like a goofball and the small children love it. I can't imagine not having a sector of my brain constantly monitoring and scanning my experience for various humorous takes on the situation. lol Its strange how some people almost dont want to be funny.
On the one hand I'd say that certain evolved beings wouldn't use certain kinds of humor that are a bit rude or something. Yet, when everyone knows they are infinite beings and their form and conditions are not them, then everyone can laugh at themselves and their imperfections no?
If their experience isn't as good as a mushroom trip, then I'm not sure how evolved they are. Cuz practically everything is hilarious from that state. Things you'd never laugh at can have you dying of laughter for 20 min. Unless thats only a unique experience for us since going on the trip is like the first few hours after our death transitioning to a higher frequency. Is it the higher frequency state of mushrooms that makes it so hilarious or is the shifting that gives a temporary experience of extreme humor.
Similar to how transitioning into human form brings great wonder and playfulness that wears off as we age. hmmm.
Re: Do ETs do stand-up comedy?
I remember from Robert Monroe's books that he described one encounter with an alien being on his UFO, seemingly in another dimension as it happened during astral projection. This being was a kind of resarcher of other races and collected data. It did so at that time with human comedy skits/shows/standups/movies for their database. They were really fascinated by the human concept of 'humour' as well as linked human emotions and situations, mostly of positivity, joy, laughter, joking, irony, etc. Don't know which book of his 3 works it was.

Message from ET, reminder of the Day.
"Whichever day, what ever numbers are or have been important to YOU , you are ALL of them , all the numbers stretching to infinity which includes nill.
Thinking of your self always as "somebody" is mostly a fault of your Mother and the Dinos Club .
Without the option of being ALSO NOBODY , you are then denying yourself the essential right to abstain from impersonating certain sequence .
It's only while we are "nobody" that is free of being "someone important" we are also free to liberate ourselves from the wheel chain . "
I think 😂, Bruce Lee said the same thing .
He only called it water.
Be like water, be nobody. This is the Way to approach Extraterrestrials ...

If extraterrestrials look like this, I am determined to have immediate close contact.

This post was translated from Polish, as I don’t speak English. Please forgive any mistakes.:ambis:
To me, discussions like this are just beating the air.
I believe we can only truly talk about ET humor once actual contact happens. And even then — as has already been mentioned — what might be funny to them will probably be completely incomprehensible to us.
Because humor, laughter, lightness — they come from shared experience and mutual understanding.
When you really know someone, that’s when you can joke and resonate together.
Personally, I can joke about anything and with anyone — and I truly believe that good energy builds bridges above all divisions.
For me, that is the essence of contact. Not theory — but relationship.

Mostly not, yet my cat has a profound effect on my life in so many ways! ... Maybe aliens will say something similar about humans, doing things that make the list of questions look somewhat pale in comparison? Knowing my cat is truly loved & changed me for the better in so many ways, we should see the role of humans (the good part, that is, of course) to aliens having other gifts we do not have.
cheers,

These demons who pretend to be aliens have been living since the creation of the world, they know more than we can imagine. Of course, they know all the earthly crafts of humanity and they are professionals in this. Celebrities sell their souls to the devil to get their talent to be the best, for example, in music or in something else, even to write poetry... Everything that you listed, they know all this very well.
The Man Who Sold His Soul to The Devil - Robert Johnson. A popular musician who learned to play so quickly that no one could believe it, because everyone knew him well and what he was capable of. The demons helped him.
But in reality they are very cruel and even hate each other, at a low level they curse among themselves, this is their language of communication, they taught people this too.
They have little time left, they will burn in the fiery Gehenna together with the devil and his hell.
So Uncle Joe needs to arm himself with prayer and holy water because they are everywhere. Semi-material entities.
