Hi Mad Scientist nice to meet you and our forum was always missing a mad scientist and now we have one...:)
Loved your soundtrack and analysis. There was a past member whom was truly gifted and had access to amazing forensic software. That person still has a channel up and his earlier vids really impressed especially on the moon in on the space station. His filters revealed things the were blurred out like you did. I was wondering if you could share which software you use to get the results also if you ever heard of 1967sander channel? If not you should check...cheers
Hey thx Mojo, I know Sander well, well, not that well, but well enough. Actually, he's the entire reason I got into this in the first place (Shadows in the Dark docu).
I use some iView and an Altalux plug in, additional to that I use a simple gratis (free) software package called photoscape.
It's no rocket science really, just very annoying, lol...

Thanks for the reply. Do you think those programs can help me with my low light filming in sony nightshot?

As long as there is a source in which information can travel, iow light & energy, you can get results. My approach is not the same as Sander's approach though.
I did a quickie on some internet grabbed image just to show example on your question, it depends really what you are shooting.

Re: Mad Scientist Stills Topic.
Haven't done a filter vid in round 6 years, had an itch, scratched it.
Njoy.
Re: Mad Scientist Stills Topic.
Anyone want to see what these spheres look like shape wise, check out this Golden Oldie.
Re: Mad Scientist Stills Topic.
Remember, when the filters appear, best to look at them like they are blueprints.

Re: Mad Scientist Stills Topic.
Anyone interested in this should watch this prosecuted docu I have stored on Vimeo, it's not made by me, it's in 540p (only version I could save at the time), but it's really worth your time and could lead to certain mindblow.
It is behind code 1601.
Please do not add this to any other site, Vimeo might have it removed.
@Tintin, please consider adding this vid/docu to the library.
Enjoy:
