That is, of course, possible, except it would lack intent and do nothing to mitigate the overall atrocity against Gazans. The presence of Biden, of course, adds a little weight to the possibility of an attempt at subterfuge.
It is kind of hard to imagine that no local person would have anything to say about misfire or not.
It is possible for Israel to tell the truth, sometimes, but they are not what we would call "reliable", no matter how many Brits and Americans jump on the bandwagon.
Again, I apologize if these thoughts have been covered. And please, I am not writing this to inflame opinions, this is just a stripped right back observation.
Yesterday I was pondering the whole situation and had a very simple realisation. Modern “Israel” is a very new nation. It is not the ancient Nation of Israel. It could have been placed anywhere and called anything. At the point of its creation, anywhere in the world would have been gratefully accepted by the Jewish people.
Instead they chose a name and location with massive biblical weight, instantly attaching it to biblical prophecy and to a certain extent, giving the impression that the nation has existed for some 3000 years. They did not need to do this.
Today I was reading comments on a website I visit now and then, and I found this by someone identified as JD:
“Cyrus Ingerson Scofield and an artificial pause in Daniels 70th week prophesy that was callously used to move already fulfilled prophesy concerning “the end” of the nation of Israel into the future, thereby duping Evangelicals into supporting a modern temporal Israel!”
As I see it, the bottom line is, the current nation of “Israel” is a modern invention, placed and named very carefully for Geopolitical ends. It is masquerading as something it is most certainly not. A cynical ruse that the entire west is playing along with. It was devised to create as much religious weight as possible, garnering support and resistance by pulling the at the very strings of people’s faith. Throw in decades of holocaust/antisemitic/Islamophobic programming, those who are not religious are also pulled into the agenda. There is a very strong chance that “Israel” is the linchpin to plans that have been in place for a very long time. For those implementing the plan no cost is too high, no sacrifice too great.
They do not care about the Jews, the Muslims, or anyone else for that matter. The certainly do not want Peace. If they did, then the Jewish Homeland would have been located and named very differently.
The storm is nearly upon us I fear.

Ya, I'm surprising myself as well. Not sure why I've taken this stance except to say that I do not like when people jump on a bandwagon like this. I tend to buck the trend.
Also, I may as well work in the middle east as it is. Our job site is like the tower of Babel. People talking in a dozen languages side by side. That's all I can say on that topic. Not fun at all.

Concerning the hospital strike this video may well be one that lays the blame irrefutably at Israel's door. What blows my mind is the majority of the world just wants Israel to accept the slaughter of October 7th and move on from it like it never happened. Brush it under the rug so to speak. If a group of thugs went into any other country other than Israel and brutally murdered 1400 civilians, the whole world would be united, in an uproar, and demanding justice at any cost.
Not one Arab country will take any Gaza refugees, not even temporarily. They are willing to send them some medical supplies and food but not remove them from the hot zone. They are content to just let the civilian population ride out the storm and the deaths to continue. The only solution is to stop Israel regardless of how many will die. It is quite telling in my opinion.
Regardless of how this moves forward, it is a no-win situation for Israel. There are just too many countries and peoples that want Israel and the Jews removed from this planet. Some things never change.
Not many know this, but Gaza has been conquered and destroyed over and over again for centuries. Gaza is about 4,000 years old. Talk about a never-ending cycle of killing and destruction! I'm surprised the ground there is not dark red....

@SilentFeathers - Leaving aside 'the majority of the world' - about which we can do nothing (materially speaking) -- is that what you believe happened?
My understanding is that the 'group of thugs' were waved into Israel, by some group inside Israel, at a time and place when the military had been moved away from the area (and maybe civilian partygoers had been moved into the area); then the military were stood down for a few hours before intervening and driving away the incursion.
Whatever happened to Israel; the blame for it must be shared with elements within Israel.
This has very different implications from the way you express the situation. The main different implication, as I see it, is that (as I understand it) the original atrocity was arranged in order to harm All sides in the Middle East (and elsewhere) - and that is exactly what is happening.

What blows my mind (!) is that hardly anybody seems to notice that (especially since 2020) the big bad things that have have happened are not arranged for anybody's benefit in particular. No nation or group of nations is gaining by Covid, the Vax, the Rus-NATO war - or this developing situation. The minds ultimately behind these events are not trying to benefit any group - but are trying to inflict the maximum of fear, resentment, misery, death and despair.
So far they have succeeded - not least because they are working invisibly, and nobody even wants to acknowledge their existence; perhaps because few people can understand the motivation of extreme evil: and that is what we are dealing with.
(I mean: We can all understand ruthless self-interest - but when we are instead dealing with evil done for its own sake, without benefitting anybody in particular, or even when oneself is harmed by it... Well, we just don't perceive it. And yet, surely, we have all had such impulses or thoughts at some time or another? I mean sheer spitefulness, schadenfreude, inner gloating at the suffering of another etc. It is seen in some suicides I have encountered: "I'll kill myself, tell him it's his fault; and that will really hurt him. He'll feel guilty for the rest of his life!". That sort of motivation is what is behind this stuff - but on a large scale. )
What blows my mind is that the Israeli people can't see what their government and intel agencies have done to them, and revolt against them.

That aside, I've made it clear in my other posts that this Oct. 7th event was basically allowed to happen, thus elements within the Israeli gov had to be involved to some degree or another.
I've also made it clear in my other posts that what is happening in Gaza is sickening, I am very far from being one-sided in this whole ordeal. I'm just posting my perspectives from several angles about several developments, I don't claim to be right or know everything, that's for sure.
I do also honestly believe that in the bigger picture of things there are extremely dark and evil aspects going on, bigger than most can even comprehend, including myself.
